BLURBS:

With the opening of the tournament just a day or two away and many players entering the training grounds, and the schedule hot off presses this tournament is shaping up to be great.

Going Independent:

The Lurikastani Open's future as a NIFT Tournament is in question, as the organisers are upset about its importance. And the fact that the surface used is not rye grass and is instead natural Bluegrass, which is not recognised. (They just painted lines and built a stadium)

Centre Court:

Centre court is not yet done, and it's opening match will be the finals, talk about a big match.

OOC: It strikes me as somewhat weird how myself and Uiri, who are both hosting NITF Grand Slam tournaments, did not get a single player into the next round. In fact, the only nation besides Lurikastan who got a player into the Quarters and is hosting an NIFT tournament is Rotan, whose player had to beat a Delaclav to advance. Meanwhile, both Lurikastan players advance.
