I'm now annoyed I didn't pick up on my own (accidental) pun. I could have said about Wilson waiting in the wings; I suppose that would have been vane of me though.

That's it for the PokrajneKuppa after 8 closely-fought races. It's given me some handy RP fodder for next year and a few new drivers with some WGPC/2 potential. Hope everyone's enjoyed keeping an eye on it, I'm very excited for next season now!

I might pull a Lisander and enter Jess as a free agent. I might also just look to part out to some new teams like the whole Adelphia thing. Congrats to those writers for a great top three finish. Looks like a good read, the season. I've been writing different genres. But it looked like a cool season.

Ah Adelphia. The team where the second, non-native and non-pony driver did exceptionally better than the first, native and pony driver.
But hey, that gives me another shitty RP scope.

I happen to by trying to work out a WGP3 series for Grearia, myself. I was wondering, therefore, if foreign drivers are allowed? If yes, I am looking forward to hosting your absolute newb drivers in my nation's WGP3 series. On the other hand, I would love to develop a few Grearish drivers abroad as well. Do TG me if interested in any of these propositions, or feel free to ping me up on the Discord server. Cheers, and thanks in advance!

PS: I might also be interested in investing in cars/teams in your nation as a probable owner/sponsor.

Foreign drivers are allowed in any given WGP3 series, yes! Just make sure you consult with the users of those nations first, as you say.

I still intend to bid to host the next WGPC season, but I will likely take a break off NS of a couple of weeks after the Olympics are over. Therefore, any signups and new season probably won't start till October.

If anyone else wants to bid to host it before October, please feel free to do so.

If anyone's still interested after all this time, I've finally got round to writing my final post for WGP2 III... Putting the link here rather than posting it properly to avoid resurrecting the old thread!

So I'm thinking of joining but I wonder which do you think is the best option

1.) Wealthy dentist with backing from Xanneria Toothpaste commpany. He has experience in racing, just not anything

2.) enter a driver from a puppet I have modeled off of Central Asian Dictatorships. Sponsor is super sketchy in the "We employ slave labour" kind of way

3.) Mark Plourde

Also does the WGPC have any issues with a track made with Google Earth?

Given the number of pun headlines that would become possible if you went with option 1, I'm firmly behind that.

Google earth is fine if you can come up with an interesting circuit and make it look tidy. One of the issues is that overlaying a track route onto the satellite image can get messy and if you're making your track in a well known RL city, the city's name and famous landmarks tend to crop up, which doesn't look great either. That's why most of us stick to stand-alone maps. Some of us have made tracks for other users in the past and I can't speak for anyone else, but I'd be happy to Sketchup one if you're interested. There's examples in the WGP3 thread

You can use Milermeter (aka gmap-pedometer) to draw the track. Just remember to choose the "Satellite" option and no text will be shown. https://prnt.sc/uc11sw

So the basic idea is that the track will consist of a street circut based around a resort/shopping complex. Now I wan to emphasize that this is not the final product as I will have to remove som RL Reference in photoshop.

Image

So would this fit if the RL Logos were photoshopped out and replaced with fictional resort branding?

Best Abu Dhabi GP circuit tbh

I think it'd be fine. I'd remove the mile markers so I can dress it up easier with Photoshop and stuff.
