Perhaps? Give me a poke when it's closer to the time, my calendar is pretty open now but it depends on when it's gonna be done.

Well, that's another eight hundred words in addition to the additions that I added to last week's post this week. That might be all you see of me until after this time next week; exams are almost upon me! Farewell, for now.

(I should also note that I caught myself having written 'Mom' rather than 'Mum' just before I posted everything. I am a little horrified.)

I've opted to hide the mostly descriptive race bit under a spoiler for my post, just in case the block of text becomes a little annoying to scroll through (and because most of it is an interpretation of the race, and not wholly significant to the whole narrative). Of course, I do think it's still important, but I've singled out the more narrative elements in case it's a little tedious.

I should probably just put this in my sig because of how often it comes up, but "Sherpan" is not a word. The RL demonyms are Sherpa (singular), Sherpas (plural), and Sherpa (adjective). ICly, if you want to talk about people from the Sherpa Empire, but you don't want to make it sound like they are ethnically Sherpa, you can call them Sherpalanders.

Hello everyone!

I've been a bit preoccupied with other things this evening. As such, we're going to do practice/qualifying on Saturday night or Sunday morning, with the race being scorinated either on Monday night or Tuesday morning.

Sorry for the delay.

I'm considering not entering VMR in the next WGP2, but entering independent drivers. I might literally forget that I've thought about this by then or change my mind. There are others I'd like to see get the chance there. Anyone can point me back to this post in the future to remind me. lol

Do you expect to scorinate tonight or Wednesday morning now, and will there be any knock-on effect on upcoming races or will they take place as per schedule?

Hey hey, Audio here.

Scorinating tonight. Next events will be done on Saturday and Monday instead of Friday and Sunday to account for the delay.

Cheers for your patience, everyone.

Going to finish the last parts of the post that I'm still writing, then work out what explanation is best as to why Ryker would have dropped out so dramatically. This actually chimes pretty well with what I have coming up, so... Mmm.

I did want to write but I couldn't think of much anything. I'd rather make something worth reading than something thrown together in an attempt to save face. Future plans, though... this is going to happen. And some side ventures, both entirely crafted by me, and... something new entirely.

(of course i think we'd all like it if terho just stopped what he was doing as well but i doubt he'd want to)

Just means it now takes 2 races to catch the leader instead of one. It seems like a big lead but its really not that big... yet. When 1st place gets 25 points and 2/3rds of the field gets 0 any given race, big swings in the standings can still happen with very little notice.

A proposal for those like Hapilopper, stuck without a seat: I can give away Terho's seat (at least) for the next pre-season test for one lucky driver. It'll be the only appearance, most likely, of the driver in this season, and unfortunately you won't be able to join another team for the rest of the season, but I think it might be fun to RP.

Alternatively, I might try to woo the WGPC bigwigs into running a third car for testing, but that's likely a big no-no and against da rulez.

I could give up Jai Kardaeri's seat as well for the test :D Surely a former world champion doesnt need the practice time ...

The big storyline I'm working for Drake right now is just him finding a test drive. All he wants is one opportunity to prove he's capable of driving well, and if it doesn't lead to anything else for the rest of the WGPC1 season, he's just fine with that, as long as he got his chance. After all, shouldn't WGPC2 be coming up after WGPC1? A good run in the test might as well make him rather attractive to WGPC2 teams for that coming season.

There are teams where a full change is warranted. I think certain people just aren’t paying attention or just don’t want to switch out their friends. If I had a driver that ghosted over the past few weeks, I’d make the switch faster than greased lightning. Hap is putting up an effort worth more than one practice spot.

Edit: Part of me wants to switch out Jess so I can kick my feet up until the NSSCRA marathon.

This is exactly my mentality too with Abdoulaye... obviously Drake would get first dibs, but if there is an opportunity for a test drive, it would be awesome if Goita could get in on one

I'm usually quite afraid of meddling too much into other people's ideas for their own RPs, so pleeeeease tell me if I've been too intrusive with my own post and I'll edit it accordingly, no problem at all (mostly concerning the pit stop fiasco, aka important plot point).

And if anyone wants to claim the unruly reporter, 100% fine by me (in fact, encouraged).
