The History
The Starblaydi corporation ediraf has, for many years, been one of the biggest names in football kit manufacturing across the world. They have been best known for creating the kits of Starblaydia's national football team since World Cup 15, but their jump into the international spotlight first came when they were accepted as the Primary Apparel Sponsor for World Cup 25 in Kaze Progressa and Audioslavia. As well as re-vamping the Starblaydi kit range, they also provided the kits, tracksuits and equipment for the tournament's referees. ediraf were chosen once again to be the official provider for World Cup 29. At the start of the centennial World Cup the World Champions, Under-21 Champions and AOCAF Champions were all kitted out in ediraf uniforms.
ediraf then put themselves back in the world's spotlight when they unveiled a new range of kits for World Cup 41 and beyond. ediraf was back and dozens of national teams decided to be a part of it. For Version 4.0, ediraf created a revolutionary new breathable hybrid material known as CoolClimate, which absorbed sweat on the interior, transpirated it to the exterior of the material and allowed it to dry. Furthermore, the material allowed air in, keeping the player at a regulated body temperature even in the muggiest and warmest of matches.
This technological and creative innovation led to over 50 international sides wearing Starblaydia's most famous brand. Through the glory years and the lean, ediraf have continually supplied Starblaydi teams from grass roots kickabouts on a Sunday morning all the way up to the brightest lights of the five-times world champions in one of the most famous unforms of all time. For the SPAWK Baptism of Fire tournament in the run up to World Cup 78, they debuted their greatest creation yet: Generation Five.
The Story

Optiyarn
Optiyarn technology increases both supporting structure and dynamic stretch ability according to the wearer's requirements, isolating body parts and muscle groups for maximum integrity of material and complete comfort of fit. Aerodynamix
Aerodynamix design improves airflow over the material in a natural, ergonomic pattern, because even microseconds can be the different between victory and defeat on the grandest stages of sporting endeavour. The Customisation
ediraf provides a boutique customer experience to the highest of standards. With your personal Relationship Manager able to guide your national football association through every step of the process. Our standard national team package includes the following:
- Three Kit designs: Home Kit, Away Kit and a choice between Third and Goalkeeper Kits.
- Font selection: For the first time, ediraf offers a range of corporate fonts to represent your team's names and numbers.
- Collar customisation: Choose between the classic collar, polo neck, mandarin, two styles of v-neck and a long-sleeved round neck.
- Football Association branding: Whether your Association or Federation's brand needs a revamp or a bespoke creation from scratch, our team of experienced brand managers can create the perfect logo to wear proudly on the shirt. This is part of our high quality, boutique service and is arrived at after extensive discussion between our design team and the client. We are also able to use any existing logo or crest you currently use.

The Requirements
Simply get in touch with ediraf below to begin the process for your nation's own, high quality, Generation Five kit. All that is required is the following:
- A national football association that has participated for the previous three completed World Cup cycles (since WC79 or earlier as of this writing).
- Your national football association has not sourced kits from another NationStates storefront in the past two World Cup cycles (since WC80 or earlier as of this writing).
- Your national football association's guarantee these kits will be worn for a minimum of three World Cup cycles (until completion of WC84 as of this writing).
- A design brief, as full as possible; the more detail, the better. Colours, pattern(s), collar and font selections as a minimum. Reference images, existing kits, national football association logos (if available) are all greatly valued by our design team.
- The player name, number and team name to be placed on the back for illustration purposes. (E.g. 'Player, 14, Starblaydia')
- Your patience. ediraf expects a high volume of interested parties, and ediraf kits are created to the highest possible standards.
National football associations that are current and former clients of ediraf, those located in Atlantian Oceania, WCC-endorsed tournament championship winning sides and also nations with strong links to the Protectorate of Starblaydia will have priority service, given their good standing with the Starblaydi Ministry of the Economy.
The OOC
Starblaydia is an RLStates graphic designer with 10 years' professional experience, including branding an international football tournament. Thankfully (for NS Sporters, at least), his current design job is a fairly boring production line of forms, posters and presentations, so NS comes calling as a creative outlet. Though the kits themselves are templates, the choice of colour, pattern, positioning, etc. in order to make the kit 'feel' realistic and something you'd see in real World Cup, or one of the top leagues in the world, is where the actual design ability comes in. That being said, I have a real job and a real life, and am doing this for free. It's not like they'll go in my portfolio - so bear with me, the kits will come out and we'll play with them until they're perfect. I like a clean, retro-futurist style - but if you want to go crazy with your kits to match your team, then let's see what we can make together. There is no specific form to fill in, because the possibilities are (almost) endless. Everything is custom, so describe away - you can even give me a basic description and we can work it out through TG, Discord, etc. I also shouldn't have to say this, but if you're using ediraf kits, please don't try and use other supplier's kits at the same time for other football tournaments. That's not how RL kit supply works, and it's OOC not cool to waste people's time. Thanks!
