Chill man he was only clarifying why he posted that.

Which he was clearly told to do in the OOC thread. And then he added a snarky aside about how it should've been from his Olympic Committee president. I've made my decision, and it's final.

You're lucky your women's sledge hockey team has even reached the semi-finals with a shot at a medal with a 25 skill (!!!).

Yeah yeah yeah, I know. But our luck seems do be doing us well so far!

Win or lose Ferret Islands you will get a medal now, so that is a plus.

And thank you Liventia for pointing out an occ attack that was really not warranted. Some of you have played against West Phoenicia before. For those that havent.

West Phoenicia is a multi faith polytheist nation. We have the State religion which is a mix of Christian denominations and a multi layer pagan faiths that pay homage to a host of gods, goddess and animal deities.
West Phoenicia during competitions takes pagan priests and priestess along with them. Especially those who follow Goddess Fotruna, a Roman goddess of luck.

So win or lose to West Phoenicia luck plays a big hand in our results. if we win its because the deities have blessed us if we lose its because something we did displeased the gods.

A team may be better but in a West Phoenician mindset that doesnt matter. We lost due to bad luck. Nothing I said was personal. IC is when you jump into the skin of one of your players and give their point of view/ opinion etc. You counter attack the characters not the player.

I come on here to have fun. No point rp a boring nation. My teams are aggressive, some are nice ( aka Tiffany Love and Con Gregory in the Tennis tournaments) some are spoilt (Amelia Defence in Archery) some are drama queens (Renee Richardson in the tennis) Some are champions (The Mermen in Water Polo) some are underdogs who keep fighting on (The Confederates in Baseball)

I also like to take news headlines and incorporate them. Think back to fencing at one of the Olympics where a South Korean girl cried she was pretty much handed a medal. To the Commonwealth Games where when Australia won some silver some Swimmers were ungrateful as they thought they deserved Gold. Tonya Harding arranging a kneecapping towards Nancy Kerrigan in the figure skating. its rp. And West Phoenicia likes drama.

Instead of going for the poster. use your characters to be nice, nasty etc towards other characters.
Of course the female para hockey team was salty they lost when they had in their minds tbis was their event to win.

But your occ rant and than attempting to say it was the voice of your Para Olympics president is a little far fetched. If your new to rp on here, take Liventia advice.

Apart from killing my players anything said in character usually gets a laugh from me if its positive or negative about my characters.

Hope that clears up a few things with the newbies.

Thank you Liventia for a smoothly run II Winter Paralympics.

Not only was it good role-play, it allows NS to open up to the wider community and show abled bodied or Paralympics you can still have fun and some great role-plays in Sports.

Hopefully this encourages other nations to step up and submit Paralympics Winter or Summer teams in the future.

Game over man, game over!

Some statistics for the II Winter Paralympics.

As expected the four nations with the biggest squads dominated the medal table.

4 Nations Battle.
Image

West Phoenicia first with the astonishing amount of 23 gold, right behind the last minute entrance Vakolicci Haven and Celeria. Then Liventia with the most medals (51) and Kriegiersien only 4th, with the most Bronze medals (23). There are nations and teams who always get second (sad losers), teams who always get fourth (drama) and teams who always get third. After the last successful golden Olympics, it seemed as if Kriegiersien could get away from this stereotype, but now they are again a bronze nation.

At least Kriegiersien has now won a medal in Curling both at the Olympics (women Gold) and the Paralympics (bronze).

Vakolicci Haven reached the finals of all three team sports. Only in Men's hockey Darmen won.

Together with Zombiestan, which could also be renamed to La Bombistan, Kriegiersien would have gotten the most medals (46+5) shared with Liventia. Then again, the other nations could put in account their siblings for that, too.

With 9/150 (6%) Gold and 46/150 (30,66%) medals per Athlete, Kriegiersien was less efficient than Zombiestan with 3/12 (25%) Gold and 5/12 (41,67%) medals. That will be an interesting joint return flight via Zombiestan.

Host Liventia is the only recurring nation from the first Winter Paralympics, for all other nations it was the first participation. Though some nations had already been taken part in Summer Paralympics.

13 from 16 starting nations won a medal out of a record offer of 244.

There were shared Silver and bronze medals, but no Gold medal, to the disappointment of an athlete of the golden nation of West Phoenicia.

Well, it was a nice adventure and thx for the fish.
