House of Hathor won the winning bid to design the West Phoenician Winter delegation outfit. Its multi colour, eye popping attire was the talk of the fashion runway in Melbourne-Haven where media, sports stars and fashionistas attended to take part in the unveiling.
House of Hathor head designer Felix Noir cited the inspiration for the attire came from the wonderful colours throughout West Phoenicia and it's celebration of diversity.

Having taken a 24 month break from all sporting activities, Oisinistan have returned just in time for the Winter Olympics.

Oisinistan have sent a team of 134 athletes (all males and no team events) to this Winter Olympics. The squad had originally been declared as having 138, but eight athletes dropped out due to injury, and it was only possible to replace 4 of them. Two of these replacements (Peter Spreet in the men's 500m speed skating and Chris Chrisouloulou in the snowboard cross) have been recruited from an Oisinistani colony nation, Youhavenorightsistan, while two (Gam Salea and Jonatas Duarte) are merely amateurs, and their chances are not rated.

Mattijanan National Information:

Capital city: Petrovijanka
National sport: Field Hockey
Secondary sports: Sliding Sports, Cricket, Tennis.
Sports Minister: Julian Petrov
Trigramme: MTJ
Flagbearer: Marcel Sabitzer (Slalom Alpine Skiing)
Anthems: Hoffe un Valaške (Hope and Eternity)
Delegation Size: 200 entrants

Kit: Mattijanan athletes wear green with yellow swirls around the lower torso. The national flag and badge of the national association for the particular sport is shown above the athletes name on the right side of the chest. The olympic rings are on the upper arm of each kit.

Curling Teams:

As one of Mattijana's most popular sports, many people will expect Mattijana to do well at the games fielding two high quality sides. The mix of tactical thinking, skill and physical strength appeals to the Mattijanan public whilst due the indoor nature of the sport, it can be played in most locations across the country, even those where temperatures are not low enough to form natural ice.

LadijanHockeyBand:

Mattijana's woman's curling side came through both national and international competition to make the Olympics and have established themselves as an excellant side of tacticians and curlers. They certainly pose a very good medal chance for the nation.

Lineup:
Skip: Marika Sava
Lead: Lara Amarika
Second: Jasmin Karotič
Third: Katarina Julanova

Mattijana's men won a bronze medal at the last Winter Games and will present a very strong medal hope once again. Matej Donilovic returns at skip and is backed up by an unchanged line-up from the one that beat Natanians and Nosts in the bronze medal match last time out.

Skip: Matej Donilovič
Lead: Stefan Radjeskov
Second: Dominik Jariliov
Third: Sami Grosicki

Mattijana will not be sending an ice hockey team to the XII Winter Olympics due to the recent Ice Hockey ban, imposed shortly after the XI games, also in Electrum. A government-sanctioned survey between leading Field Hockey teams and personalities concluded in Ice Hockey being deemed a disrespectful off-shoot of the national sport of Field Hockey and although non-professional participation is not affected, professional Ice Hockey is covered by the legislation.

Officials:

As well as athletes, Mattijana will be sending a skilled team of officials to the games.

Curling:
Referees-Martina Sabler, Martin Jarmolenko
Experience is key as a curling athlete and this filters down into officiating too, with both Mattijana's referees having at least 30 years of playing and refereeing matches each. Sabler is more of a hands on referee and will act if any moving of stones or other such foul play is suspected. Jarmolenko is a more laid-back figure and will normally allow players to sort out any differences unless involvement is really required.

Figure Skating:
Judge-Julia Sarana
Julia Sarana, Mattijana's only figure skating representative, lives and breathes her sport. Now long-retired from performing, she continues to judge figure skating in her native Mattijana and specialises in the pairs competition. Despite that she is available for individual and team judging if required.

Short Track:
Referees-Andreas Mayer, Kara Junavič.
Timekeeping Official-Mikal Dravić
Short track is often a chaotic and crash-strewn sport and attributing blame for any collisions is an integral part of the officiating role. Andreas Mayer has made it often a murky business for spectators, but applies the rules competently and will be a useful asset to the short track team. Kara Junavič is less experienced, but has shown good judgement and will learn much from being on the Olympic officiating team.

Ski Jumping:
Judge-Petr Bostjanović
Petr Bostjanović grew up in a big ski-jumping family, but turned out to be no good at the flying, so turned his eye to judging. He is a big fan of a solid telemark landing and will be particularly harsh on those who fail to apply it.

Freestyle Skiing and Snowboarding:
Slopestyle and Big Air Judges:
Ski-Lorenzo Žackov
Snowboard-Sara Radič
Ski-cross referee-Naomi Draminič
Snowboard-cross referee-Dominik Trigonić

Mattijana's freestyle team lower the average age of the officiating team from Mattijana and are a varied bunch. Innovation in the slopestyle and big air is heavily rewarded, whilst aesthetics is often prioritised ahead of actual technique.

Meanwhile in the snow-Cross, the team of Draminič and Trigonić are generally fairly laissez-faire towards collisions, which are often deemed racing incidents.
The socialist republic of Mattijana:
As if Austria, Slovenia, North-Eastern Europe and Sweden were merged together into some weird stew of a country.
through resilience, we are strong!

Elejamian Olympic Committee (ES: Comité Olímpico Elejamia; IY: Elejam Olimpic Comiti)

Flag bearer: Michelle "Mishi" Fanner (captain of the Elejamian women's ice hockey team) - Opening Ceremony
Anatoly Kasputin (captain of the Elejamie men's ice hockey team) - Closing Ceremony
Trigram: EJM
National anthem: A Hymn for Elejamie (Himno del Elejamia; Elejam Him)

Curling is more of a niche sport in Elejamie, only being played recreationally at a few ice rinks across the country. However, there are a few recreational leagues, mostly in the south-west of the country. Despite this, when it was announced that there would be an Elejamian curling team, thousands of people applied and, after a series of games, have managed to whittle everything down to five players across two teams. However, their first time in Prescott didn't go so smoothly, with both teams finishing with one win and three losses; although the men's team's win against Nuovo Juvencus in Pool G wasn't enough to save them from last place, the women's team's win against Darmen (who lost all of their games) saw them come second from bottom in Pool E. Will they be able to improve on their poor performance when they return to the city? Or will they crash and burn like last time? Only time will tell...

Lead: Nathan Lincoln
Second: Charlie Buckner
Third: Jonny Rafaeli

Lead: Dakota Kirkpatrick
Second: Fernanda Oliveira
Third: Rachel Nevis
Skip: Angelica Álvarez
Sub: Kristin Hawkins

Ice hockey is the most popular sport in Elejamie, followed by football/soccer (both are acceptable in Elejamie) and rugby [union], In fact, the men's national team - nicknamed the Icy Elephants, not to be confused with the ENIHL team Elejamie City Ice Elephants - are one of the best teams in the multiverse, having made the World Cup of Hockey finals four times in four competitions; winning two (29th edition against Gregoryisgodistan and 31st edition against Valanora) and losing two (30th and 32nd, both times against disliked rivals Valanora), as well as a bronze medal in Valanora back in the 28th edition. Indeed, the Elejamian men's B-team are the reigning gold medallists from the last Winter Olympics, whereas the women's team fell in the quarter-finals. After disappointing performances in Anthor and Savojarna, not helped by a controversial third-place playoff game against Novaya Zemlya over in the 34th edition, the EIHB have announced that Elejamie will no longer be playing at the WCoH and will instead concentrate on the Winter Olympics. The Winter Olympics will also serve as Antonio Cervantes' last tournament before his retirement at the end of the season.

Women's ice hockey, however, had a bit of a slow start; while there were women's university teams since the early 80s, there were no professional teams or a separate women's league. However, that all changed in 1992, when the EIHB scouted the best players in the university leagues, along with some amateur players, to make a national women's team for a friendly against friendly rivals the Royal Kingdom of Quebec; a match which Elejamie won 2-1 in overtime. More friendlies were played until the ENWIHL (Elejamian National Women's Ice Hockey League) was proposed in 1994, with the season finally starting in 1996; the Coventry Puffins won both the league and the Callow Cup (named after Ariana Callow who, alongside her husband Jon, came up with the idea).

The first few seasons were still a massive success despite having only six teams (Coventry Puffins; Avon Thunder; Davenport Dames; Rosetta Aces; Ángeles de la Playa de Rocas; and Mainsborough Iron Maidens, who shortened their name to Irons in 2002 before changing it back in 2005). In fact, the idea would lead to the ENIHL getting their own play-off system in time for the 2000/01 season, the Royal Inaetar Cup. More teams would join in the coming years, even going as far as 12 teams from 2007-2010, although since most of them either disbanded, relocated or, in rare cases, merged to leave the league with ten teams split into two conferences. There is no relegation system in the ENWIHL, so any teams that come bottom of the table will still play in the league next season.

Gavin Galt: Much like a number of referees in the ENIHL, Gavin Galt started his career as a player, playing as a defenceman for the Midland University Ice Clovers, followed by two seasons with the Edgebaston Shamrocks once he graduated. However, a nasty season-ending injury to his arm in 1990 put an end to his budding career. Not one to be downhearted, he started training to be a referee and, thanks to his keen eye for detail and a good sense of humour, Galt became one of the most respected referees in Elejamian ice hockey. However, he isn't perfect as 95% of the time he'd call for a face-off when he should've called for a penalty shot. Not to mention that he's publicly stated that he will not referee any matches involving Gregoryisgodistan, on the grounds that he wants to make it back home alive and in one piece.

Óscar Delgado: A famous ice skater in the 80s and early 90s, Óscar Delgado won a number of national and international competitions before hanging up his skates in 1996. However, he started to find retirement a bit uninteresting and, instead of going into coaching, he decided to get into judging instead. As a result, he has an idea on what he's looking for and knows what deserves top marks. The downside is that this would make him seem strict, which would mean that he'd end up giving a lower score than his fellow judges.

  • I don't have any personal problems with Valanora, so I apologise for the "disliked rivals" bit. In fact, the only reasons why my nation's ice hockey fans are starting to dislike (but not hate) the Calcuttas is because a) they've faced them three times in four finals and they're got tired of playing them and b) they argue that it's all starting to feel a bit predictable. Fortunately, my retirement from the WCoH should help things.
  • Maria Serrano, goaltender for the women's hockey team, is married to Antonio Cervantes, main goalie for the men's national team and the Ángeles de la Playa de Rocas men's team. Much like her husband, she's also played for the same club for the entirety of her career and is very unlikely to move.
  • If any of my ice hockey players, male or female, interest you, feel free to send me a TG letting me know which player you want, which club wants them and things like salary, bonuses and other stuff like that. And yes, I know about that trading list in the International Hockey Discussion Thread, although since I'm unable to scorinate my league at the moment I don't know if it'll be a good idea.
  • I couldn't find a good high quality NS Olympic logo, so I had to copy the one from the XII Winter Olympics logo instead. Which explains why it looks so blurry in my Olympic Committee's logo.
  • Apologies to Electrum if it turns out that they've already selected which country the ice skating judges are from.
  • I might go back in and edit a few more pieces of clothing in, like a curling shirt and a team jacket.

The Republic of Liventia's curling teams have been selected by national trials.

Women's team:
Paige Ramsey (lead)
Jos Owen (second)
Fran Brennan (third)
Keira Tucker (skip)
Danielle Richardson (alternate)

Men's team:
Clément du Toit (lead)
Rob Kennedy (second)
Denis Ménard (third/skip)
Michel Cochet (fourth)
Jean-Noël Rochefort (alternate)

Other things to know about the Liventian delegation:
Liventia has two official languages, French and English. Its official name in French is République liventienne (Liventian Republic), although the inaccurate "Liventie" is in common colloquial usage. Liventia has two national anthems, both in English — if a Liventian athlete or team wins gold, Liventia, Land of Hope is played.

The opening ceremony flagbearer will be multiple Olympic gold medallist speed skater Javier Rosario, who is competing in his final Games.
The closing ceremony flagbearer will be Denis Ménard, the men's curling skip.

Kriegiersien (KGS) Olympic Delegation

Flagbearer:
Mirya Bratwurst (Curling)

Head of Mission:
Panna Cotta

Officials:
Many of more or less useful people

Jerseys:
The black spandex with the Kriegiersien flag on it fits for every of the more or less well formed bodies of the nations athletes.
Further outfits are knitted out of finest wool to hold the athletes warm.
Beanies, Pullover, scarfs, socks and trousers in the Kriegiersien colorful colors show the triumph not only of the sportsman, but likewise of the textile Industry of the Nation.

Athletes:
The Kriegiersien squad consists again out of superior technology in the Cyborg sector, developed from brilliant minds and Top Human athletes.

The highest level of engineering, the GoldBot is a cyborg considered to be able to win the title in every competition he gets trained, conditioned and programmed in. The SilverBot and BronzeBot are each slightly weaker versions. With the Tackybot, Trashbot and Junkbot early models, cheap copies and former Prototypes are being used who are visual convincing but not up to the task on highest competition levels and adaption.

The female versions are nearly the same as their “male” counterparts, beside a few but crucial modifications.

Kriegiersien Ice Hockey Team (men):

Since the last Olympics, the Kriegiersien teams have been (like in nearly all sports) out of international competition. Isolated, the best players of the Kriegiersien leagues have been summoned in a secret training camp to be prepared for their greatest challenge and tourney.
They consist, like in all team events, out of “biological born units” only.
„No robot can beat human spirit and creativity in such a fine sport“, boasted the coach, before his B-team was beaten in Overtime by the six Female bots in a quickly fixed test match. He denied any comment after that.

They still feel capable of winning a medal, also thanks to the only non-human, non-cyborg in the whole Olympic team.
Fox Michaelson, a being half wolf, half human, was the Top Player of his school team in the dark Kriegiersien North. Often mistaken as werewolf, he identified himself as furry, an anthropomorphic animal, found as orphan in the woods. After he ended as superior Top scorer in the league, he was nominated by the Kriegiersien President himself, against the wishes of the coach. The president stated that Kriegiersien was “always open minded to all who can bring the nation success”.

Kriegiersien Ice Hockey Team (women):

The Kriegiersien champion, the LoLing Lady Bugs (4-3 in the Finals against the Cruel Critters), will be send as representatives. They asked to start with their own team name and shirts, but even after considerations that disastrous results are to be expected from the welded together but internationally not very high-classed squad, the President decided that everyone had to compete as Kriegiersien, proudly showing the nations colors and name, even in defeat.

Image
Curling team (female):

The team once dubbed as Silver girls and two times medal winners around Skip Mirya Bratwurst found together again for their fourth Olympics. “Curling is a sport you can still continue even after getting old. It is nice to see the old crew fresh, alive and slipping the stone.” The players found together again after a short break and easily won their next Kriegiersien championship, plus the ticket to Prescott.

Skip: Mirya Bratwurst
Vice: Rhonwen Loewenzahn

Lead: Briza Icemop
Second: Andrea Egyptulan
Third: Rhonwen Loewenzahn
Fourth: Mirya Bratwurst

Curling team (male):
The male Curling degenerated over the last years. Even so a team qualified and made their way to the Olympics, their quality is so slim, that no mixed team was able to directly qualify and instead a Bobsleigh team was send to fill up the delegation.

Bobsleigh
Albert Average and David Dream
David Dream, a runner who missed the qualification for the 200 m at the Summer Olympics, changed the sport to get a ticket to the Games. Together with Albert Average, an ordinary Bobsleigh driver with enough money to build a good bob, he followed his destiny to win the Kriegiersien Two-Man championship. In a final attempt the two then won in a wild contest, consisting out of quizzes, different (summer) sports and silly competitions, against all other candidates from different team events, like a mixed Curling team, Nordic Combine, Ski Jumping, Ice Skating, Cross Country and other squads from Kriegiersien to finally get the last ticket to the Olympics.

Luge
Santa Fee and Emilia Notgeilnagel
While Santa Fee is a slightly over-weighed Philanthropist and a modest believer in the Almighty Kriegiersien Overlord, Emilia Notgeilnagel is a well known model and has been seen on different covers of all kinds of magazines. Together they build up an odd but excellent luge team, winning the national title and a place at the Olympics.

Ice Skating - Pairs
Timon Jobst and Faoel Oscar.
While Timon Jobst is from a family of soccer players, playing it in his youth, his life changed when he met Faoel Oscar in a swimming bath. He quickly adopted her love for Figure Skating and together they made the way to the Top.
„If we win a medal, we will marry“, promised the couple.

Ice Dancing
Depp Jones and Susan Nicols
Depp Jones and Susan Nicols are the best Ice Dancers of the country. But as wonderful and refreshing their dancing style is, outside they are the dullest pair of the squad. It is said, that even the Bots are more colorful and interesting in any way.

Barisean Industry's clothing branch, one of the highest quality producers of clothing worldwide, being funded by the government, has been predictably put in charge of the olympic uniforms.
They designed a combo of a grey winter hoodie jacket lined with blue; a long, royal blue flowing pants for the men, and royal blue dresses for the women; brown winter boots; a black shirt; and black gloves.
Barisea is a Napoleonic Era to WW2 Scandinavia nation.
A 18.4 civilization, according to this index.

Flag Bearer: Dietmar Peura, Skeleton
Delegation Size: 74 athletes
National Anthem: "Eternal Blessings"
"So gladly bloom in beauty full,
Into what freedom has taught us to be,
And evermore shall sing our sons,
Of King, and Law, and Liberty!

Inspire us at morn with Thy courage and love,
And lead through the days of our strife!
For always shall your coastline be
The devoted home of the free.

For Thou that dwellest in this land.
Protect us all our days
The servant of the crown shall be.
And enemy of tyranny.

God of Justice; Thou who saved us
When in deepest bondage cast,
Hear Thy children's voices,
Be our help as in the past.

To safeguard your sacred land,
To hold high your honored flag,
Bless your children with the might
To follow your command."

Athletes To Watch

Vangaziland Bobsleigh, Luge & Skeleton Association
-Each Vannish sled is given a 4 digit number.

Team 5772
Pilot - Trone Crymble
Brakeman- Isac Isaksson
This team is made up of an urban city kid and an old country westerner who have been training together since becoming a part of the national program. Both crewmembers are about the same size and strength, working out to match each other's strength. Trone is capable at driving well even at fast speeds.

Team 8854
Pilot - Ivan Rojzhensky
Pusher - David Patersen
Pusher - Chen Wan
Brakeman - Ace Kayo
Chen Wan may be short, but he packs a lot of power. This team has also trained together for some time and has a great deal of chemistry. Ivan Rojzhensky has shown great poise piloting sleds. Expect him to bring enough finesse to put up a competitive time.

Team 2055
Pilot - Emblyn Trescott
Brakeman - Anna Metz
This team is surprisingly fast, showing much improvement over the past few years in Vannish domestic sliding competition. The pair were rivals in college where they were part of an exclusive academic sliding association. Not all sliding athletes present at the Olympics raced during college, but many did.

Keenan Stoddard - Luge, Men's Individual
Keenan has dominated domestic-Imperial luge. Expect him to push his run to the edge. He has the piloting skill to take risks. Keenan has a fighting spirit. To him, success means gold or bust. He takes things hardest on himself more than most other Vannish Olympic athletes. His agent is quite aggressive and put pressure on Keenan to earn a medal to boost his image (and therefore get more sponsorship offers).

Speed Skating & Short Track Association Vangaziland

M.C. Ristoff - Short Track, Men's 500m
M.C. Ristoff won the 100m dash at Olympiad XII in Kelssek. He grew up skating competitively, being naturally fast. Track and speed skating took him to Overglade University, Vangaziland's most presitgious school, on full scholarship. The gold medalist hopes to prove he's also the fastest man on ice.

Hermina Axelsdottir - Women’s 1 500 m
Hermina will have to push to beat some of the competition's tougher opponents. She'll hope to do well and take things slowly, heat by heat. She does have more than enough skill to make a surprising run if she can get into the right mindset.

Figure Skating Vangaziland

Elsa Ahl - Individual
Vannish audiences fell in love with Elsa Ahl when the Imperial Skating Championships were held in Vangaziland. Elsa showed lots of grace, also choosing songs which seemed to show different sides of her personality. She isn't expected to go for any big jumps, but will use her natural style to hopefully win over the judges.

Alpine Skiing

Felix Hammarstrom - Men's Downhill
Felix grew up in the Imperial Hills of Central Vangaziland. He carries a heritage tied to skiing. Both his father and grandfather competed internationally. Felix hopes to be the first of his family to win a gold medal in this modern rendition of the Olympiad.

Norma Kristjansdottir - Women's Slalom
Slalom is an aggressive form of skiing, which draws a lot of attention from Vannish audiences. Ratings numbers for different ski events consistently rank slalom among the highest ranked broadcast audiences. Norma has the talent to put up fast times, but it will take extra effort for her to get up to speed with the world's best.

Snowboarding Vangaziland

Stan Parkway - Men's Halfpipe
BMX rider turned snowboarder, expect Stan to go for big tricks. He's one for style. His performance will be a show. The only question is whether his show will be big enough to out-do the rest of the world's best.

Samantha Halfacre - Women's Big Air
Sam is as daring as they come. She's a former paratrooper in the Vannish Army and a Khalifiyan war veteran. She was a competitive skateboarder when younger. She trained during leave from the Army, eventually getting their permission to train alongside her military duties. Now she is representing the Empire in the latest Winter Olympics.

ALINGHI FEDERAL-DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC's WINTER OLYMPICS DELEGATION

TRIGRAM: ALH

FLAG BEARER: CHANDLER HOPPER Giotto (Bobsleight)

Anthem: Do you hear the Alingan People Sing?

https://musescore.com/owlman142/doyouhearthepeoplesingforaratherstrangeensemble

Hörst du, wie das Alingher Volk erklingt?
Von uns'rer Wut erzählt der Wind
Das ist die Symphonie von Menschen,
die nicht länger Sklaven sind
Jedes Herz schlägt, wie es kann,
unsere Herzen trommeln laut

[Vy dadite vse, chto mozhete dat'
Chtoby nash banner mog prodvinut'sya
Nekotoryye upadut, a nekotoryye budut zhit'
Vy vstanete i vospol'zuyetes' svoim shansom?
Krov' muchenikov
Budet polivat' Alinghi!]

Do you hear the people sing!
Singing the song of angry men?
It is the music of the people
Who will not be slaves again!
Kiam la batado de via koro
Eĥas la batadon de la tamburoj
Estas vivo por komenci
Kiam morgaŭ venos!

Trigramme: UIK

National Anthem: “Birewi Osedi” (Grow as one)
(do note that this anthem has only one line of text
“Biz kuresemiz, biz kuresemiz, birewi osedi!”
It’s habitual that the ones honoured by the anthem, such as
the gold medallist, chant the first two parts with the audience replying the title.
Obviously, all foreign fans are kindly invited to join in the last line.

Yanjin People's Delegation - XIII Winter Olympics

Trigram: YNJ
Capital: Hengdao, Yanjin
Anthem: Above & Beyond
National Sport: Wushu Boxing
Delegation Minister: Li Yaobao
Flag Bearer: Opening - Yu Fang (Mens 10km Sprint), Closing - Peng Xiuying (Womens 7.5 km Sprint)
Chief Physician: Li Dian

-This guide may be used to make awareness of the Yanjin People's Olympic Delegation. Our athletes will compete in the spirit of peace, goodwill, and harmony. This will remain true despite the dangerous and irresponsible environment another competing nation has placed our beloved country of the people in. It is the wish of The People that you get to know about our Olympic Team.

Our athletes have lived and trained in a small village near the mountains north of Nanyuan.

Image

Each athlete was picked from or recruited into the military and the cadet corps. You will find enlisted, officer and even cadet Olympians representing Yanjin. It should be noted that each name is in the order of surname first, given name second.

Notable Soldier Athletes

Yu Fang - Biathlon Men's 10km Sprint
Rank: Major (0-4)
Branch: Army
Military Career: Artillery Officer
Height: 5'8

Major Yu is the commanding officer for the Olympic delegation. He must accomplish managerial duties in addition to his training. Since a large part of biathlon involves marksmanship, training is run more like a military range than an Olympic team. This includes Alpine training. The team is exposed to harsh conditions which break many, but allow a few to rise to the top. Yu Fang and his advisors report to a Commander with a greater command in the People's Army.

Peng Xiuyang - Biathlon Women's 7.5km Sprint
Rank: 2nd Lieutenant (0-2)
Branch: Air Force
Military Career: Security Forces Officer
Height: 5'4

The rank of 2LT translates to Shao Wei. 2LT Peng was responsible for a team which provides airport security. She was selected from the ranks because of her marksmanship skills. She also has the professionalism one comes to expect from the typical Air Force Officer. She is very strong and quick, and that should come into play in her skiing.

Yao An - Short Track Speed Skating 1000m
Rank: Sergeant (E-5)
Branch: Army
Military Career: Drill Instructor
Height: 5'11

Yao was recruited for his physical ability at a young age. He was expected to go into biathlon, but showed an ability for skating. He's well trained in his current technique and is a real threat. Yao is known throughout the team for his intensity.

Liang Wei - Mens Moguls
Rank: Captain (O-4)
Branch: Air Force
Military Career: Helicopter Pilot
Height: 5'8

Wei grew up near the mountains of Quanjing. He was fortunate enough to ski from a young age. This was noted while he was a cadet and he began training as a competitive skier soon after completing his flight training. He still serves as a pilot for 6 months out of the year to keep his certification current. His protégé is a cadet named Ham SooJi who will compete in the Womens Mogul event.

Zhao Guo - Ski Jumping - Women’s Individual Normal Hill
Rank: Petty Officer 1st Rate (E-6)
Branch: Navy
Military Career: Carrier Deckhand
Height: 5'10

The People's Navy put out a call for all who may have experience in winter sports in the years leading up to the Olympiad. The Olympic delegation would mainly focus on skiing and skating events. Guo also grew up near the nation's largest mountains in the city of Quanjing. She was confident enough to take on the role of ski jumping. Her training started soon after basic training and has progressed throughout her years of service.
