BTW, Kanye, if you want to do a portrait of Xu in your style, you can. He's a pretty ordinary-looking Chinese guy, around 5'9" and average weight, no facial hair.

I haven't drawn a portrait for him.

75-90 minutes. The scorination isn't the long part, it's the carrying over of information into the spreadsheet to calculate the averages, and then formatting the final data. I'm not really looking for ways to make it longer. :)

I wanted to suggest a one stage consolation race for drivers who DNQed, but I'm not sure how that could fit in with how you sim your races

It would be far too time-consuming since I'd have to create a whole new xkoranate file for it.

You could introduce that at your home tracks and scorinate it yourself.

I think there's a typo in how many drivers advance to each round of the Chase. You have 8 twice, instead of 12 and 8.

I understand that at the moment the #85 is assigned to a driver due to number overlap. Would it be possible, however, for me to reserve the #85 as the open charter for the Esmerelian round?

If you want to have your press ICly get this wrong, that's OK, but Wagensvolk and Inner Mongolia are outside the Sherpa Empire's borders. The Sherpa Empire's northern border is the Yangtze river up to Chongqing, then the provincial borders of Sichuan and Tibet.

Map so I can show you what I'm talking about:

Image

Roughly the southern half of the map belongs to the Sherpa Empire and the northern half does not.

At the end of WWII, the Sherpa Empire occupied the North similar to how the US occupied Japan. But they gave it back to the Chinese sometime in the late 1940s.

More RP fodder: Self-driving cars are banned in St. Kanye due to safety concerns. I wrote about it even before I joined NSSCRA. I don't know yet how NSSCRA, the Kanyean government, and A7DXZ5's handlers will deal with that ICly.

That's a tough one... Exactly what is the wording of the law? Are driverless cars illegal on public roads or are they illegal everywhere? Does the law say that a car must have a driver whenever it is in use or does it say that it must not have a self-driving feature installed?

You may have the feature, but you may not use it on a public road. Even so, the self-driving vehicles in the country are mainly used in industrial settings like forklifts or buggy/golf cart type vehicles, and are always used with human supervision.

A possible compromise could be having A7DXZ5 be kept in her hauler unless it's qualifying, practice or race day. The track is private property anyway. And the hauler must have a driver.

Her regular hauler probably is Wagensvolkisch and doesn't need a driver because Wagensvolk are creeped out by ordinary vehicles. Maybe she can persuade him to let someone drive him for their time in St Kanye. Or they can have one of the Mongols from the pit crew sit in the driver's seat and hope nobody notices he's not driving.

Don't quote me on that, though. I haven't decided for sure if her hauler is Wagensvolkisch, Chinese, or Sherpa.

It's still far away before the Kanyean races, there's still lots of time to come up with something. New Northwesteros has no such law, mainly because they can't avail the technology yet. :p

Oh crap, seems like I have missed out on a lot of stuff.... well, I guess I will start writing one tomorrow! I think I will rush it a little and maybe just kind of describe and write about how Jolyn and Clarissa didn't do so well, seeing how the world of racing was something very new for the Valentians.

As for Gwen, I see that she got knocked out of the qualifications, so I gotta write for that too. :P

I'm still new to this, so... does that mean that #31 got disqualified for the entire season, or just for this one exhibition race?

All right, thanks!

I will try to get a post up tomorrow! ^^

For long-term notice, I think I can do this RP smoothly until Sept. 13, which is when Term 6 starts and I will probably need to focus more of my time on my studies. With that said, I will still try my best to give my all. :D Of course, provided my racers made it there in the first place, which I doubt it.

Don't worry about it. RP when you have time.

I might miss a race or two in July, which is practically unheard of for me to miss a cutoff in NSSCRA, but RL happens.

Sorry about that.

Bit of advice: If you absolutely must have other people's characters respond, collaborate with them or get their permission ahead of time. Otherwise, just steer clear, or start an interaction with what your characters say, and then leave it at that. It's bad form in any roleplay to control another player's characters without that player's permission.

Also going to note it now: You do not have permission to use any of my characters. You'll have to ask Hampton Island about Lexi, but bear in mind that HI already gave me permission to use the character. You'll need to collaborate with me if you want to have conversations with my characters.
