Saint Kanye wrote:Rank system? I'm not sure on this. I know teams (or maybe drivers) have skill/rating points, but I don't think it should be presented as ranks. There is no ranking system in real.life. There are just good teams and bad teams. A tier system (with actual skill points, but hidden from the public) works better IMO, like VMR and VTM are rank A, Xanneria's team is maybe rank B, Central Shaneville and One Jamaica were rank D. Or if we're doing drivers, Suzgar, Houston, Qiang are A, Cocoabo is probably C, Shreeves and Andrew are D(F?)

That's still a rank system, just described using different vocabulary.

I would prefer to have at least a component of it based on individual drivers' results rather than doing everything by nation. It's a better fit for the way I want to RP my drivers and it would play into the idea of development drivers.

Yeah, but it's fairer than saying that this driver is #1, this other driver is #2, and so on.

You can RP your puppet, but no bonus is counted now for the next season.
Also, one should not assume they will have X number of charters in NSSCRA 8 just because they had them in NSSCRA 7, too.

Let's talk about next season after Tundra Falls. We have a championship race coming up.

Also thats fine if the team isn't special right away but what about drivers, I want to prop up Shreeves a lil more.

Also I have some ideas I wanted to present to you about next year.

So once again, obvious semantics do not distract from my point... Every team in the race at this point is here because of their long term RP effort above all other factors. Some people RP'd just as well and still fell short because competition was high. That shows how high the bar is, no? You aren't going to outluck an effort like that. You certainly can lose a tournament by not RPing.

In this tournament, especially. Each of the regular RPers does not just have one contender, they have three or four. There may be four or five active RPers, and if you are behind them, you are finishing in the teens and twenties, not fifth or sixth. This is a very difficult title to win for that reason. Just getting into the Championship Four is a true accomplishment.

Thank you for all the fantastic RP during the season.
It certainly ends with a close one! Congrats to the champ!

Awesome, this was a grueling season!
Gilli'i wins a couple battles, Stacie wins the war!

Congrats on the victory! The scorinator results would have made an exciting race to watch.

Thanks to Newmanistan for the smooth hosting.

Damn, what a championship battle. Great job Stacie and great job Cass! The entire GFR team also congratulate the champ. Skip, Sage and West shake Stacie's hand, Thea gives her a hug, and Brooke sends in a video call from St. Kanye.

I love how the championship race is the *one* race Eva DNF'd in.

Do you have any clue what you want to do with her? I May RP here in an early incident if you're ok with it.

Also Newmanistan - Tundra Falls = Pocono right?

Actually, I'm thinking STK or Sherpa should have first crack, but, if they don't do anything, you may.

I'm not writing an RP for the championship race, so you guys can figure it out among yourselves.

Your nation has an interesting definition of "young," Xan. Wang is in the 45 to 60 age range.

Anyway, would it be a good time to start discussing next season? I assume there will be some down time between seasons, but I'd be interested in getting some idea of when to expect season 8 and what the future of NSSCRA looks like.

Young as in inexperienced.

As far as Xannerian knows, this is his first taste in big racing.

Yeah, he is new to racing at this level. I just thought someone might have noticed his age because of how he looks.

Big thing I want is a more detailed sign-up.

I'd like to see a sign that looks like the following
Team Entry wrote:Team Name:
Make & Model of Car:
Owner:

Driver:
Car #:
Sponsor:
Age:

Something like that.

Also since a couple of us have this game, I wouldn't mind making an NSSCRA Season 8 Carset for NASCAR Racing 2003.

The downside of more detailed sign-ups is that it can be intimidating for new players.

I will try to at least make logos for my sponsors if not put together proper car designs for next season, so that it will be easier for anyone that wants to put together a car set. I am working on the whole "I RP a nation that uses a bunch of languages I don't speak" problem, and the new season will be a good opportunity to shuffle sponsors and weed out the ones that are more difficult to work with.

Most fictional Racing leagues I've joined have used a more detailed sign-up than even the one I've used. I honestly might be a bit biased though as I have been inspired by Vilita to possibly paint some cars for my video game screenshots :P

Also I'd like every track sign up to have the amount of laps for each race. And can we double check on track distance lap times. I think we were running 250mph laps at Greythorne's road course!

Yeah, I like Vilita's visuals, and making it easier for him is part of my motivation to get my shit together on sponsor logos/car designs.

I think there will always be some stuff that just isn't realistic, but the number of laps would be helpful info when people are introducing their tracks.
