Jebslund is a nation of kerbals ruled by Emperor Jebediah Kerman. We reject tyranny, believing that rights should be protected, though we also believe said rights end where the rights of others begin.
Shockingly, we *do* use NS stats, with the exception of lifespan.

The real world has prevented me from continuing to RP regularly, and once Lexi got that race I had some writers block too. Good luck to those still alive for the title.

So I'm really considering entering both WGP and NSSCRA with one track hosting both series on the same race weekend.

What ya think?

1: You don't chose when your race is run for either event, soooo...
2: That would be a logistical nightmare even before you factor in the fans.
3: No sane track officials would have two different sports on the same weekend unless each was only one day, and, even then...

It would be difficult to coordinate both ICly and OOCly, but we already know that Xannerian racing organizers are not sane.

1.) Thats why I want to bring it up now, I've already talked to Aels on the NSSport discord, so it would be up to the NSSCRA and WGP people to co-ordinate. Also it doesn't have to be the same race number to be located on the same race weekend.

2 & 3.) Think of it like the V8 Supercar exhibitions during the Melbourne F1 weekend.

You can certainly say its happening, ICly.
But for it to be actually coordinated that way in regards to scorination- extremely unlikely. I don't even know when NSSCRA 8 will begin, let alone trying to coordinate a race weekend with the WGPO.

Oh Scorination wasn't the issue, it would be coordinating the schedules so the races are kind of in the same vicinity of the each schedule.

I just want to throw this out there: If one of your drivers was not in the first segment wreck, and if you don't have a driver in the Chase, there's no reason to explain how it happened in your RP. Let one of the nations involved in it determine it.

I kind of knew when Qiang won by such a wide margin in Xanneria that he'd used up his good luck and would not make the final, and I wrote my most recent RP with the idea that it might be the last one for the season.

If you're in the final four, and you want to decide what happened to Wang, you have a lot of leeway. Stuff that prevents him from finishing the season is fair game. If there is foul play involved, run it by me first.

I wish I had a horse in that race cause I do think the super short length of the Vangzaland race would have been good RP fodder, (Unless Vangz meant the race was 250 miles and not laps)

Yeah it means miles, as it does in NASCAR. 250 is still quite a short race. I meant it to be a dramatic sprint and it seems to work out that way. I'm pretty glad Ellie progressed. She turned out to have a better season this year than Kev and Floyd had last year. It's nice to see 4 different teams in the race. I had to find some semblance of rest after the WGPC and that led to Kev & Floyd dropping. It'll be nice if I managed just enough effort for Ellie to take it all. It definitely hasn't been easy RPing this much across NS Sports.

generally in NASCAR if the track is less than 1 mile they'll use laps.

But by my math this means the race was 322 laps?

Fine by me. Sage won't blame anyone, there was nothing else he could have done. No room to dodge.

I don't think that's a strict rule, more like everyone just decided to go along with the first one to do it.

Besides, let Van do what he wants. It's just a race name, not even the craziest deviation from the real life league.

It's okay. The truth is that I'm not fully familiar with NASCAR rules and traditions. I really watched the sport awhile ago. We can say that it's 250 miles just because the Vannish are weird internationals. Besides, if I were going by laps then I'd probably have made it a 300. So it works out. 250 laps at .76 would be even more brief.

Xanneria has really stepped up in writing and I can see them having much more success in future tournaments. Sticking through a season through good and bad is the key to winning silverware. If this were the WGPC, they'd be in the final 4 for sure. I like the extra angle NSSCRA throws out there. It's definitely unique and fun to RP.

So it's only slightly larger than Bompton (0.74)

Except Bompton is 512 laps, or 378.88 miles. More laps than most races, but not the longest in terms of distance.
