The exam is over at 11 AM for me, which with timezones accounted and stuff, would mean that the NSSCRA results will be right after my exam! Man, what a good thing to look forward to. :3

At that point even if he wasn't assigned one, I'm sure ride-buying would be in full effect again


As for "Ride buying" there are two types

1) (The most common type) is that a driver who missed the race pays a team that did qualify for the race to become the driver of that car for that race. So Bronson would drive the 54. Owner points are for the 54 and driver points for Bronson assuming he starts the race.

2) (The most rare type) is that a car that had to qualify into the race on time did qualify on time, but is compelled to withdraw from the race by the team who was the FIRST team to not qualify on time. In this rare case, the team that qualified can withdraw which would promote the fastest non-qualify into the field, allowing them to keep both their own car as well as the driver in the race. I don't actually know if NASCAR allows this case or it has been done like this in NASCAR but it has been done like this in other series.

For Something like this in NSSCRA I would suggest that it only be allowed with accompanying RP as well as some limit to the number of times a driver/team can swap rides per season (just trying to prevent it being a worm escaping from a can)

If we do have a limit on these types of changes, I'd like it to be stricter for moves between puppets of the same player.

If you're moving people around from a single nation, everyone, including newer players, has equal ability to do that, so it does not give anyone an unfair advantage. It also makes IC sense that this would be easier than swaps between teams/nations.

If you can persuade another player to give your driver a ride, that's a sign that you've been RPing well and you're not the only person who wants to see that character in the race.

If you're moving drivers or charters between your puppets, that seems like more of a can of worms to me.

Then... nothing changes, he still gets in the playoffs because of a win? I mean, I assume he would get the charter eventually, but the biggest benefit to having it is being in every race so you can advance through points. If he has a win, it won't matter. Every driver who wins will make the playoffs.

As additional RP fodder for NSSCRA, Holly Starlight will be doing a little performance as stated in my tourism guide.

So the drivers will probably ICly know her nature like only now, because she usually keeps herself well hidden. Now some of your driver's might know that she's a magical being made out of lights, and cold to the touch.

It's not very integral or relevant to the actual race and you don't have to, but it would be greatly appreciated if you mention it a little. It plays like a typical light show, with her in it. :3

He's just having a hard time adjusting to NSSCRA. It's apparently a different racing culture than the domestic scene in North China.

I find it a bit funny on how Jolyn's team made it into the team/crew contest, but Holly didn't.

Not that I'm complaining, nor was this written out of some anger. I'm actually very grateful with it. It's just a surprise for me because I thought Holly's team would make it in, not Jolyn who only came for 2 races so far.

Posts will be coming either tonight or tomorrow... I might have to merge the three races (Val Z, and the next two after) because I don't know if 4 posts (2 races * 2 nations) are feasible.
