My idea was that the teams would know that rain was on the way but they don't know when it will show up or for how long, Add in a few rain-related DNF's and that could be a classic

They certainly need to be able to communicate, either to receive or transmit information. While that probably doesn't look like common water cooler chat, I'm sure improvements have been made throughout CEEP and technology - either live or post-processed, could aide in such situations when one would like to give the appearance of fluid in line communications with a Cocoabo

On additional note, I'm sorry I forgot about it, so is the entirety of Jebslund underground, or are there still surface elements? I reckon that the Valentians would need to land their large planes on the surface, or failing that, would need to take the plane from Starksvillem, Cassadaigua.

They're basically anywhere you'd find drug/bomb sniffers IRL, though there'd be fewer outside ports of entry/exit, as there are few out-and-out illegal drugs in Jebslund. Most of the dangerous ones are handled through the healthcare system rather than the criminal justice system. The airport ones are there as customs enforcement, rather than criminal law enforcement.

As far as the country itself it's only Kermania and a handful of other cities that are underground. and before you ask, no, there are no underground black sites. Why would you even ask that?

Hmm, might decide on landing on the surface then going underground (while processing through the customs), or airport from Cassadaigua. I might be leaning on the former, but I might just do the RP tomorrow. ^^

Starksville RP Fodder, if interested:

The race took place in the evening, following Game 5 of the WBC 50 Championship in Concord Heights. In that game, Cassadaigua was up 3-1 in the series and had the chance to win the WBC, though as you can see by the score, we lost. So that series continues.

Many fans, therefore, in the stands were hoping to watch the race while celebrating a major championship victory elsewhere in the country. However, were dejected by the loss. Though it's not an elimination type loss as we are still up 3-2.

There is significant distance between the two cities, so a fan would not have attended both. (think the equivalent of say, going from Washington, DC to Houston).

I know that in a lot of other sports on Nationstates they try to run one season every three months; but with the NSSCRA schedule spanning more than three months, that could not be the case here (as if it is infrequent then I likely will run a season of the Legean Stock Car Racing Championship before the start of NSSCRA 11 and then run the two in sync from then onwards)

2) Would anyone want to sponsor one (or more) of the teams and/or act as an engine supplier? Obviously, not all of the sponsors and engine suppliers would be based abroad but I feel like it would be good to build some international ties for the Legean Stock Car Racing Championship.

You can definitely run your own stock car racing series, but note that some of us already have domestic leagues that act as feeders for NSSCRA. Yours could be a feeder series for NSSCRA, but it would not be the feeder series.

If we do use playoff points can we do 10+ points per win and one less for each postion in the top 5 and +1 point per pole.

If you're trying to figure out which manufacturer is a good fit for a particular team...

TMW and AutoModi have a history of success in NSSCRA. Beiyang and Hongxing don't have that proven track record, but they are probably looking for a chance to prove themselves.

AutoModi is a luxury brand that prides itself on excellent craftsmanship. Hongxing is cheap crap. TMW and Beiyang are somewhere in between.

I have a bit of a RPing idea. I kinda want to base this off of the Tiregate scandal in 1998 where the #24 team were accused of soaking tires with a grip compound, which was obviously illegal. Now Team Blue has gotten accused of using a fuel additive. What I am proposing is that this eventually reaches NSSCRA headquarters and they decide to send every car back to headquarters for testing. From there I don't know but this fuel additive like the tire softening compound invovled in Tiregate is undectable but would also be instantly noticable with futher examination

I think it makes more sense to do that with Hongxing and have an upper tier team use Chadwick. Chadwick has a good IC reputation.
