Qiang actually had all his social media censored by the Sherpa government during the offseason. Expect IC grumbling about the lack of free speech.

Non-competing nations shouldn't be deciding anything that happened on the track IMO. It already gets tricky enough to make everyone's stories fit together when it's just the people who have drivers in the race.

I'm more open to RL references than a lot of people, but I agree that using that particular name in that particular way is poor taste.

As for that flag, it may be a violation of site rules if it is made known to moderation what is being represented. We don't need that in NSSCRA.

I don't think the flag on its own would be a rules violation, but with the whole context, it might go over the line. I've sent a GHR explaining the situation.

The Bad News: In an attempt to copy some stuff from NSSCRA 8, I realised that I overwritten my very first post in NSSCRA 8, instead of making a new post in NSSCRA 9. Oops.

I just switched a few race dates around as I realized there were a couple nations who's two race dates were too close together. This is what I get for making the Chase schedule first, then the pre-Chase schedule. Nations who's races I moved- Hapilopper, Vilita, Hampton Island, and Bolgano.

Though it is likely He is going to race a #61 in four events this year. With the two Xannerian events he will race as a Open Charter car and the two Appalachian events under non-charters auspices.

It is correct that he is only guaranteed to get the open charter in Xanneria. Only an Appalachian driver would be "automatic" in Appalachian Nation.
Having said that, the puppethood of the nation would be considered as a plus, but it would not be an automatic assignment.

He outed the Duke of Guilin being gay, as well as just generally shooting his mouth off. He'll be able to start posting again now that he's traveling abroad, but he lost his entire posting history on Twatter.

Brazilistan was annexed into Jebslund. When that happened, all Brazilistani gained full, native Kermanic citizenship automatically. Lexi will never have Kerman after her name, as Lexi was not born on Kermanic soil, unless she opts for full naturalisation, but she'd have to give up her Hampton Island citizenship to do that.

I don't know, it's is an RL States reference, but I did at least attempt to give it a context within the NS Multiverse and give it a wholly Appalachian Nation "Backstory". (I do have an actually area in Appalachia based on the Carolina Piedmont, if I hadn't I would never had used.)

And for the record, since you brought it up, my opinion in the discussion was that you shouldn't use them as a sponsor because not only is it a real life entity but a real life entity with a prominent history in sponsoring big name Nascar drivers. It's not just an isolated local company which was your excuse last season

If you want to use it as the generic name I would personally recommend at least not using the actual real life logo of the company but adapting it to this multiverse with a custom logo

I'm fine with it, but glad I was asked. While the company still technically exists, it's something outdated enough to where I can see it as a NS Brand. I pretty much second what Vilita said, you can use the logo and the imagery, but please treat it as something completely NS and not as a past NASCAR sponsor.

A current sponsor, like a M & M's is not accepted, a play on a current sponsor like I believe Hampton Island does with the #22 and Shellshock is perfectly fine.
