Considering the outlandishness of some of the RP on the Patterson scandal, and the fact that I explicitly said violators could be subject to criminal prosecution, I am requesting permission to have other people's characters ICly arrested if they do things that would realistically lead to arrest. If they are drivers, this would make them unable to race until they are released.

There is no good IC reason why my nation would not be allowed to enforce its laws, and there are lots of good ways to stir the pot without doing something that would realistically get your driver arrested.

To be clear, IC actions like filing complaints with NSSCRA or selling Patterson merch on the public road outside the entrance to Jusenkyo would NOT lead to arrest.

This is primarily aimed at Newark Aristocracy who was talking about starting shit at Jusenkyo. Jebslund's reaction from the state government would not get anybody arrested.

On another note, the Valentians would like to purchase some of those bottomless suitcases. The normal ones are not too suitable for them.

On a different topic, I realised that... err... I have accidentally RPed the Blue Coast 400 using the Tropicorp Beach Course.

And from the qualification post:

The beach was quite fun, for the most parts. The Valentians took some time to stop themselves from getting excited at the beach, and taking even more time to remove sand from their shoes and ears. After that, they went for the simulations and soon after were on the course.

The race course was not too bad, for the most parts. The trio certainly loved driving extremely fast along the straight route, but the turns were rather tight, and they were careful not to mess it up. This was especially worse once again for Clarissa, who had some trouble with turning the tight corners. Perhaps she now developed a fear like Jolyn, except instead of road courses like Jolyn, she didn’t like the tight turns.

This difficulty made her break a bit too hard for the most parts of the qualifications, and she realised (after the qualifications were over) that she has indeed breaked too much and unnecessarily, making her recoveries from the turns (in terms of speed) a little lacking.

It's pretty obvious once you see the bits about how they are accelerating down the straight road.

Mistakes were made. :/

Is it permanent or not permanent? Does one of the springs turn you back into a Cocoabo?

The effects are "permanent" in the sense that, for the rest of your life, ordinary water will turn you back and forth between whatever you were originally and whatever the spring turned you into. If a cocoabo got turned into a girl, cold water would turn it into a girl and hot water would turn it back into a cocoabo -- and it would work that way forever.

It's unlikely that there would be a spring that turns you into a cocoabo because they're not native to the Sherpa Empire, but it is possible. If some ancient Vilitan explorers visited China and lost a cocoabo, there could be a "Spring of Drowned Cocoabo" that turns people into cocoabos.

The springs normally only affect living things, but if you want to say Clarissa is "alive" enough to trigger the curse, you can RP her getting turned into a robot cat.

Putting this here even though I already answered on Discord, just in case anyone else wants to retaliate against IRACT: Yes they do.

Most of Guilin Racing Club's winnings from season 6 went into paying IRACT's start-up costs, and they take a much smaller cut of the income from seasons 7 and 8.

Foggy in the morning, but it clears as the day heats up, humid and sticky with highs in the mid-30s Celsius.

That's on the valley floor. If anybody climbs up into the mountains above the track, it gets less muggy as you climb.

No problem. It must be clear that no one saw the two Norwesties but the Sherpa guard, though. And no one knows about the pic but them two alone. As of now. I'll focus more on the GFR trio before trying to do something with this.

I'm not considering Newark's RP that they saw the two and knew that they took a pic. It's also impossible for them to know their nationality. Also, if I'm Kohan, I'd be saying more than "OK" if I knew someone caught me doing illegal stuff.

Your RP was fine by me. I just have had so many other things I wanted to write, I have not had time to follow up on it.

It is more convenient for me to ignore Newark's RP, but I was reluctant to do that because I don't want to step on his toes. I am trying to give people a heads up in this thread to avoid situations where I need to dispute someone's RP.

Yes, especially Newark since he didn't explain any of the reasons for his government behaving strangely. You at least made it clear that the nation is meant to be weird and some decisions are not made by humans.

And the request not to move too far ahead on the story about the truckload of Patterson merch was because I wanted to make it clear the guards saw it. Now that that's been posted, people can move forward whenever they're ready.
