I've so far gone with 188, since that's how long a Talladega race is. (A 56 second lap time is far too long for Daytona, and I guess Talladega too, but there isn't much better available.)

The Proving Grounds is indeed a 3.5 mile superspeedway. It's intended to be a very large facility, there is a lot of stuff it has to fit in the infield! My record lap time is a bit fast for that, and should be slightly over a minute, but I did that for (what I thought would be) scorination convenience at the time (but really didn't matter), and once its set in stone, its set in stone.

That's a very nice tool. I think I am going to link that in future signup posts, actually. Thank you.
That time isn't excessively too fast, then, given the size of the track. It's just "sort of" too fast.

I would put the Five Star Mobile 500 in the top five, but I am biased. Five Star Mobile only sponsors the Concord Heights race though, not the upcoming one. I will announce the sponsor and more specifics in a RP that I should post later today.
I was actually thinking about who would sponsor the bonus for winning the crown jewels and I thought of Five Star because it’s in the name.

We have identified five races that we feel are naturals to be a part of this clash. The first race is the already completed Tundra Falls 500. Naturally, we will also include the Five Star Mobile 500. The two other races we have discussed and want to include in this are the Vilaye Energy Drink 314, and the Pencurve Electronics 500. Vilaye has been a great sponsor for the series, and Pencurve Electronics has been a great sponsor as well. We hope that, although there is no work required of them, both Vilaye and Pencurve do not object to their inclusion. Pencurve Electronics is a competitor in the mobile market, but has a more expansive line then we do. Our companies have been able to co-exist in the sport without problem, so I do not anticipate their becoming one. As for the fifth race, we chose the Tropicorp 500, due to the uniqueness of the beach course.” When pressed for more details, a winner of all five races will win $10,000,000. Four out five gets $3,000,000, and three out of five gets $2,000,000. Therefore, there is still time for people other then Skip Stiller to get something out of it. Stiller will be hoping for the big check. Further monies can be earned if the top five from the prior race win the next one, to the tune of $1,000,000.
