Oh yes. After handling the ASWT, closest to a multi-sport event I ever hosted, I have the highest respect for all Olympic hosts. Maybe I will be one of them in a far and distant day, but in the near future this club shall be left to the honourable nations willing to undertake such an effort for what is essentially a quite meaningless (but fun) online game.

Apologies for not RPing either; had a massive amount of writer's block stopping me from getting anything done and, by the time I had gotten something done, it was nearly cut-off so I had to scrap it. Eventually, I decided to give up, which I think is why I only came away with a silver and a bronze this time around. That and Margaret hates my guts for some inexplicable reason.

Yeah apologies for the lack of rp in the second half of the games. My caseload at work doubled in size and i couldnt focus when i got home.

If anyone wants to know where I got my idea for my submission for the Closing Ceremony, it was the Opening Ceremony of the 2004 Games in Athens.

Also would like to thank everyone that roleplayed, especially those whose first time it is participating in the Olympics, as well as Vekaiyu and Ceni for helping me host the event. Also thanks to Liventia for collating the Olympic Records and giving me a heads up to last minute changes to the formats.

A related question: I'm going to bring back most of the Ioudaian team for the next Winter Games. Question: how much skill is considered reasonable RPing for an athlete to gain between games? 1-2 points? 5? 10? Sky's the limit? I was thinking around 5 points, but what does the community say?

A related question: I'm going to bring back most of the Ioudaian team for the next Winter Games. Question: how much skill is considered reasonable RPing for an athlete to gain between games? 1-2 points? 5? 10? Sky's the limit? I was thinking around 5 points, but what does the community say?

Up to you. I've had people go from low 20s to high 90s in the span of one edition, but as always, Margaret (the NS Sports representation of randomness) has her way.

Wow! Oookay. I would have thought something like that would be frowned upon, but if people do it, maybe I'll think about a little higher. It just seems funny that Olympians would go from mediocre to amazing in one single bound.

I was thinking about Co-hosting the XIV Winter Olympiad, (Ceremonies, Hockey, and Cross-Country Skiing) but it seems like too daunting of a task.
