Lacrosse is considered to be part of Kebec's "big five" sports, considered by many to be the summer alternative for ice hockey players, this is where many players head for in the summer, lacrosse or lax as it is commonly known as a cult following in Kebec. However, after a deeply disappointing show in WLC XXVI (26), the PLL was fully revamped for its third go-round, particularly for the process of making Kebecois lacrosse a stronger scene. After much talk, the Syndicate of Kebec Lacrosse agreed to purchase the Professional Lacrosse League for an undisclosed sum. After many years (three now), the PLL returns, revamped with more than 30 teams to fully showcase the flavor of Kebec.

FCS adheres to the following rules:
  • No overtime during regular season
  • The Top 2 teams from each conference qualify to the post season
  • Seeding is done in groups of four (i.e: All Conference champs will be seeds 1-3, conference runner ups 4-6, etc.)
  • NSCF recommended teams are based on 1) teams that request to be considered for the tournament and, 2) seeding committee analysis of season-long performance

FCS GRIDIRON

CCIA DO MORE, WITH LESS

- By Gill Caurell

NEW ASGARD -- Another victory for Coach Vince Dill in Kebec's domestic collegiate-level gridiron, FCS Gridiron Sommet 1 allowed for a large celebration thru the streets of Calix City as Orange and Burgundy flew thru the streets freely as the Calix City Institute of Archaeology Kings completed their second consecutive championship in domestic play, now destined for the all-mighty NSCF for the second season in a row. It was no doubt a highly memorable moment for all players even after Porthos Subercaseaux suffered from a torn ACL just a game earlier, lead onto the field by Adrien De Verley, the junior quarterback with a no starts under his belt - a miraculously effective defense proved to be a cushion for De Verley and the CCIA offense as they marched to another NSCF.

Supposedly a game that was to be a battle of offenses, a shootout of sorts, this has strongly failed to live up to these terms, CCIA is known for its 10-point games, despite the fact Coach Dill preaches the offensive game, they've seemed to be quite fine operating on their various low-scoring victories, marching ever so slowly to the playoffs once again. The Hedgerow Bushes, who had previously made their bread and butter off a high-octane quick offense simply couldn't move down the field, their slow offense held them back and Coach Tommy Wilkers seemed quite annoyed as the offense unfortunstely stalled much thru the game, their normally strong rushing game seemed to hit its' ceiling as the Kings snuffed out every opportunity for the Bushes to mount a scoring-drive during the game. While Coach WIlkers team was able to hang with CCIA until the 3rd quarter, the straw that broke the camel's back was Martin Auchest's history-making 88-yard receiving-yard touchdown, CCIA's longest-ever reception by a wide-receiver and the 6th-longest reception in FCS Gridiron's three season history.

Calix City is simply too much of a power, under the omnipotent coach that is Vince Dill, the Kebecois side is almost impossible to beat in domestic play, the Smashmouth offense ran by Vince Dill has utterly destroyed other teams, the "Dill method" has seemed to be the threshold that not Kebecois team can dare to cross, this was shown this season in their 52-6 destruction of Big Bay E&T WIldcats, perhaps Vince Dill can move the team forward next season too, its' possible that they can compete for the conference championship in whatever division they're placed in in NSCF 17, last season, Vince Dill managed to lead his side to a stunning third-place - a good start for a first-year team billed to finish last.

Now, while we are hyped for their Odin Bowl win, we'll also say this season was a step back from last season, pound-for-pound, our offense went into a major downshift, going from 437 points scored to a rather measly 138 points, a disappointment for a team so hyped for coming with a strong offense. However, our defense continues to live up to its name - giving up a total of 38 points thru the entire season (not accounting for playoffs of course), an astounding number - what, that's 6 touchdowns and change? Say what you want, Constatine Denaus is an amazing defensive-coordinator, I wouldn't be surprised if Calix City University tries to poach him with a big contract, they're probably tired of finishing second to CCIA every year, especially since the Elite Conference was a joke this season.

However, its' bound to be a tale-tale feeling for Vince Dill who faces much work in the preseason of NSCF and the offseason for FCS Gridiron, he needs to replace CCIA's offensive coordinator, or rather his protégé since Dill essentially runs the offense.

LIGUE NATIONALE SEASON I PREVIEW

The National League (for promotional reasons the Kern Jewelers National League) is the Kebecois top-flight premier league and the pinnacle of all leagues in Kebec, it is composed of 12 premier-league teams scattered all thru Kebec, all twelve teams play two-legs against once another for a total of 24 league games, producing enough excitement for all of us fanatics in Kebec. All twelve teams aim to win the league by running the table -- i.e. finishing the season at the top of the league, however, that is not an easy task as they are tasked with stopping the other 11 teams from doing just that to them, the winner of the National League receives the Kickers Kup, awarded to the top team in the National League.

Teams
Italics // Indicates national-team player
Image
2003 CALIX
"THE ANCIENTS"
Calix City, Thor Country
Stadium: Calix City Stadia (57 000)
Sponsor: Frigg Designers (Kebecois cosmetics company)
Tactic: 3-4-2-1
Manager: Tapani Karppinen
Starter 11: Jean-Claude; Alméras Raymond Dupont, Marc-Antoine Delacroix, Théophile Marchant; Jérémy Batteux, Lucien Haillet, Amadou Solé, Matthias Delcroix; Tobie Marchant (C), Jean-Luc Charbonnier; Ricknell VIII
Bench: Joël Courtet; Gaylord Solé, Étienne Duret, Thibault Masson; Amand Kléber, Florentin Vaugrenard, Jean-Philippe Giraud, Jordan Pichard; Edmond Daucourt, Cédric Jauffret
Preview: A good bunch of players have came together in the hopes of sending 2003 Calix, a newly-founded club to a championship in the inaugural season of Ligue Nationale, there's not much to see here aside from Tobie Merchant, a reliable CM who'll see lots of playing time and a possible shoe-in for Kebec's World Cup qualifying team nexy WC-cycle, look forward to seeing a lot of counter-attacks from this team, Tapani Karppinen coached in the lower-leagues under the old system, a pioneer of Ligue-3, a very defensive-orientated coach.

Image
ALBERT-CROSS STARSS
"THE STARS IN PURPLE"
Albert-Cross, Bragi Country
Stadium: Bragi Country Sports Complex (29 000)
Sponsor: Odin A'ssurance (Kebecois insurance company)
Tactic: 3-5-2
Manager: Olli Yrjölä
Starter 11: Jordan Moreau; Jean-Marc Courtet, Edouard Duret, Pierre-Louis Longchambon; Gautier Morel, Clovis Lémery, Wilfrid Barthélemy (C), Ghislain Beaumanoir, Pierre-Marie Chausson; Jean-Claude Rossignol Neville Longbottom
Bench: Hugo Bureau; Pascal Arceneaux, Baudouin Toutain, Josselin Lecerf; Maximilien Deshaies, Bastien Lecerf, Gaston Auberjonois, Médard Chopin, Léonard Vaugrenard; Silvain Girard, Pattie Wylemt
Preview: the Albert-Cross Angels are a raggedy bunch, Olli Yrjölä hasn't managed a professional team in six WC-cycles, let alone a top-league team, expect the Angels to be searching for a new manager by the end of the season, they're no doubt going to be a real embarresment to the nation this - yes, they have Wilfrid Barthélemy one of the best Kebecois midfielders, however, their lacking depth and severely lacking in their defense, expect them to ground out at the bottom of the table and probably be relegated to the SuperLigue, especially when the goals against start to pile up, there's no way they'll be able to hang with the big dogs when they're struggling like this.

Image
ATHENA CITY OWLS
"THE DEMIGODS"
Parthenos, Odin Country
Stadium: Mount Laurel (41 000)
Sponsor: Lotus Grove (Kebecois arborist company)
Tactic: 3-2-4-1
Manager: Benjam Korpela
Starter 11: Claus Petros; Gregoly Vlahos, Mentor Tavoularis, Cyrano Rosi (C); Pilib Tripolis, Athanasios Agnes; Anatol Ladas, Cyrano Romanos, Erechtheus Petrides, Tiege Stathakis; Porthos Sundreax
Bench: Urian Rodinos; Corybantes Stratos, Vasilis Sagonas, Artemas Papas; Pieter Thomas, Phillip Rubis; Glaucus Metros, Eurypylus Fotopoulos, Timoleon Stavros, Phillip Demos; Hephaestus Papandreas
Preview: Athena City Owls are the representatives from Kebec's third-largest city, Parthenos - Parthenos is the city we never here about when they talk about Kebec, howeber, Athena City could easily make a charge for the cup, they're loaded with young talent, Claus Petros is a future national team goal-keeper, he was stellar in college two seasons ago, Benjam Korpela, the manager is the former manager of Cortana City University's football team, they made a run in the KCSA Championships last year, I think if Korpela takes the next step coupled with how well Petros develops, the Owls can take the next step and not only with the league but get their foots into the door for UICA.

Image
Big Bay Athletics
"THE BAY SIDE CLUB"
Big Bay City, Heimdallr Country
Stadium: Bifrost Arena (50 000)
Sponsor: Bay Athletics (Redvali athletic-wear company)
Tactic: 3-4-3
Manager: Fredrik Wollum
Starter 11: Thomas Bescond; Hugues Lemaitre, Henry Plouffe, Jordan Matthieu; Jean-François Bourbeau, Milhaud Jean-Louis, Amaury Thiers, Arsène Bélanger; Léger Fabrice (C), David Bescond, Silvis Lecerf
Bench: Claude Nicollier; Adam Baumé, Cyril Brassard, Jérémie Le Tonnelier, Paulin Chabert, Christophe Durand, Valentin Charrier, Ladislas Boucher; Gérôme Gouin, Jonathan Le Sueur, Olivier Dubos
Preview: Boy, oh boy, oh boy - Big Bay City's shiny club, Big Bay Athletics is perhaps the shining light when it comes to how to build your club the right way, the club itself was formed in 2022 and never competed until 2033 when the old Associated Soccer League ran the ancient Bifrost Cup - now, years alter, BBA has reformed and with good reason to - they've snagged Silvis Lecerf possibly the national team's next big thing, at only 22, he's showing the skills that Dominic Saint-Xevaux had when he was 25.

Image
City of North Hampton F.C.
"THE GREENBACKS"
North Hampton, Odin Country
Stadium: Asgardia (50 000)
Sponsor: Asgardia (Kebecois airline company)
Tactic: 4-2-2-2
Manager: Ørjan Aabel
Starter 11: Noël Dubois; Camille Cousteau, Jean-Christophe Cerfbeer, Florentin Gainsbourg (C), Djeferson Lièvremont; Gaylord Dimont, Georges Couturier, Adrien Ouvrard Gilles, Pueyrredón Estienne; Alexies Stanson, Carlos Ve Drienme
Bench: Florent Dembélé; Sébastien Balzac, Léo Beauvais, Hugo Dubos, Pierre-Louis Bessette; Gabriel Vannier, Bernard Reverdin; Léopold Hérisson, Olivier Pélissier; Danny Fountis, William Darfin
Preview: I honestly think the City of North Hampton F.C. remains the class of Kebecois football, even despite the fact its been six UICA cycles since the ASL was in existence, the North Hampton representatives not only possess the money but the talent to go and pull from the growing pool of Kebecois players willing to play the game, Ørjan Aabel is now 64 years-old, he guided "The Greenbacks" as they're affectionately called to the UICA 64th Globe Cup 2nd preliminary round before they fell out, however, Aabel's a good manager, a defensive one at that, I'd expect to see him on the national side at any second, except for some reason the KFU discriminates against Kebecois managers.

Image
Clube de Calix S.C.
"THE EVERYTHINGS"
Calix City, Thor Country
Stadium: CCIA Arena (19 700)
Sponsor: Calix City Inst. of Archaeology (Kebecois university company)
Tactic: 3-2-4-1
Manager: Stefan Melberg
Starter 11: Jukka Kauppila (C); Kasperi Sillanpaa, Samuel Hemilä, Vesa Knuutila; Paul Suominen Aapeli, Luoma Pekko; Inha Eemeli, Kemppainen, Heikki Alatalo, Lari Niemelä; Tommo Bessete
Bench: Tero Koskela; Kaapo Malinen, Manne Vainio Aukusti, Savela Usko; Vesa Juuso, Palo Ernesti; Paavola Miko, Isotalo Toimi, Laurila Pekko, Lehto Unclajab; Parri Menos
Preview: The people who open Clube de Calix Sports Club are to rich - Clube de Calix S.C. is in every sport imaginable - football, gridiron, lacrosse, hockey, I mean how far can you go with this, It's quite absurd to the point of insanity, but I digress. CDC S.C. will not do well this season, Jukka Kauppila shouldn't have even been rewarded captaincy of the team, however, they have some promising young talents in the pipeline, keep in mind that its 2040, WC qualifying is just a short year away and their back-ups are ripe for harvesting for the call-ups thru the qualifying-stage, while I don't see this squad as doing much - perhaps they'll surprise me and beat a few of the big boys around here.

Image
Cortana City Diables Bleus
"THE BLUE DEVILS"
Cortana Falls, Dagr Country
Stadium: Cortana City University Pitch (19 000)
Sponsor: Pluto Technologies (Kebecois tech company)
Tactic: 3-3-4
Manager: Gjöl Johannesson
Starter 11: Gérôme Leavitt; Remi Carbonneau, Bastien Parmentier, Maxime Allais; Noé Aubert, Florent Poussin, Désiré Castex; Gilles Cousteau, Jérémy Monteil, Lecerf Lilian (C), Jean-Cristoff Veneep
Bench: Abélard Baudet; Norbert Coquelin, Paul Plouffe, Évrard Chuquet; Loïc LeMahieu, Samuel Pélissier, Kévin Thibodeaux; Daniel Beaubois, Loup Peltier, Christopher Hérisson, Sigursveinn Arnkellsson
Preview: Cortana City Diables Bleus are the second-coming of the ancient Kebecois club-side, Cortana Club, another team repping Cortana is loaded with talent and players ready to make a definitive difference, this might be the year that the Double-C Classic returns - when City or North Hampton F.C. and Cortana do battle, sparks will fly, after all, they fought each other tooth-and-nail a mere six years ago for a spot in the Globe Cup, expect even more sparks as the great and ancient god - Sparkie the god of sparks awakens. Oh, and, watch Lercerf Lilian she's 31 and she's poised to make an MVP-run after being a dark-horse candidate in AOCAF 54.

Image
Ekrbridge United F.C.
"THE BLUE LIONS"
Eckerbridge Fjord, Baldr Country
Stadium: Eckerbridge Fjord Park (41 000)
Sponsor: Weed-R-Us (Kebecois cannabis company)
Tactic: 4-2-1-3
Manager: Magnus Bergquist
Starter 11: Lauritz Sigsteinnsson (C); Manuel Arbjoernsson, Solbergur Bjartmannsson, Nikolas Almarsson, Klemenz Rolantsson; Gudleifur Hjalmgeirsson, Alexis Leroux; Dany Rodin; Jean-Marc Auvray, Dimitri Chapuis, Remi Bethune
Bench: Sveinthor Eronsson; Numi Oddfreyrsson, Sigmundur Gudbergursson, Konstantinus Geirhardursson, Halfdan Gestursson; Fridmann, Roegnvaldursson; Vestar Amundisson; Valladur Larsson, Leidolfur Heidlindursson, Lodmundur Reynarsson, Barry Lodermike
Preview: The Blue Lions will be a competitive, defensive and anti-scoring team much thru the first season, the relatively unknown manager in Magnus Bergquist is a former upper-school coach, so, it'll be interesting to see how he brings his children tactics to the adult team, expect a slightly defensive formation out Ekerbridge - Gods help me as to why they changed their name by one letter for the actual city name, however, I see the Ekerbridge United team spoiling chances for a lot of teams who bid for the championship - and it might be blood as fuck to, so be careful.

Image
Faliox Falls F.C.
"THE PURPLE THUNDER"
Faliox Falls, Baldr Country
Stadium: The Tiger (28 000)
Sponsor: Mekstok (Kebecois home-appliances company)
Tactic: 2-3-4-1
Manager: Amand Auberjonois
Starter 11: Valéry Haillet; Thibaut Chaney, Léopold Lavigne; Nathan Boffrand, Nathan Dupuis, Kévin Moitessier; Maximilien Vernier, Jacob Chagnon, Vivien Verninac (C), Robin Maret; Jacquinot Subercaeaux
Bench: Yvon Jacquemin; Régis Didier, Robert Pasquier; David Suchet, Estienne Renou, Zacharie Berengar; Cyril Haillet, Eugène Ardouin, Valéry Mace, Noël Bardin; Lucien Beauregard
Preview: Shit, well, Domnic Saint-Xevaux has moved on from the club, a lot of changes are happening here as Kebec's national team shifts, entering the post-Adjei-Kontoh era, we've seen a lot of changes already, but, Saint-Xevaux's record-shattering transfer to New Asgard F.C., for N$36.5-million really has got to hurt the city of Faliox Falls, after all, Saint-Xevaux had played in Falios Falls since he went pro at 22 years of age, now, they'll be relying on 26 year old Vivien Verninac, another FCM who could help the team recover from the post-Saint-Xevaux season. I mean. Its already a lost season.

Image
New Asgard F.C.
"THE BOLTS"
New Asgard, Freyr & Freyja Country
Stadium: The Bridge (24 000)
Sponsor: Wallopie (Kebecois conglomerate company)
Tactic: 3-4-3
Manager: William Gustafson
Starter 11: Einthor Gautvidursson; Oerlaugur Heimirsson, Gudfredur Audgeirsson, Ingi Snailaugursson; Dyri Manfredsson, Gigjar Dufgusson, Dominic Saint-Xevaux (C), Gunnberg Katosson; Harlaugur Brynnisson Vigthor, Mikaelsson, Rudolf Audunnsson
Bench: Herleifur Rasmusson; Loki Asroedursson, Frank Sigtryggursson, Sakarias Nilsson; Svanholm Vighardursson, Tor Fritzsson, Valter Arnaldsson, Sigurmann Gunnlaugursson; Eyrikur Gottsveinnsson, Frosti Sigurbrandursson, Oddvar Magnthorsson
Preview: Now, I'm already say it, New Asgard F.C. is my pick to win the Ligue Nationale and most likely sweep away with the Krystal Kup, they're just too talented and the addition of Dominic Saint-Xevaux only serves to strengthen that, his addition should make New Asgard F.C. one of the most attack-minded teams in the league now, something that will scare other teams a heluva lot more now, I mean, New Asgard can hold Ragnarok from happening with their speed and agility. Saint-Xevaux will probably be gunning for 25-30 goals this season, possibly more depending on how his team supports him, in fact, if he does well, New Asgard F.C. could even lose him next season.

Image
Økroner S.C. 1995
"BRANØ'S BOYS"
Hampton, Odin Country
Stadium: Vital-V Stadium ( 26 400 )
Sponsor: Vival-V (Kebecois nutrition company)
Tactic: 3-3-4
Manager: Branø
Starter 11: Gilbert Grandis (C); Djeferson Colbert, Médard Leclère, Ghislain Beaugendre; José Guilbert, Gabriel Souchon, Médard Barrande; Guy Loup, Félix Deshaies, Lilian Sharpe, Tomas Easton
Bench: Henri Bessette; Aymeric Charbonneau, Gaylord Bruneau, Charles Gallois; Jean-Baptiste Carrel, Jean-Joël Leavitt, Grégoire Poullain; Boniface Maurice, Robert Poussin, Abélard De Villiers, Gabriel Bassot
Preview: Branø is a various experienced manager, Kebec's former assistant head coach more than six WC-cycles ago is more than prepared to guide Økroner S.C. 1995 - Kebec's oldest footballing club in various iterations - to the Krystal Kup playoff. Alas, even with Branø managing the team, "Branø's Boys" will no doubt fall short simply because they're not good enough - Gilbert Grandis in his best for is Kebec's alternate goal-keeper, he didn't even make former-Coach Adjei-Kontoh's roster for the AOCAF 54, so, unless he really shines, I doubt he'll be able to hold down the ship for this team.

Image
Quebec
"THE CAPITAL CLUB"
Sario, Odin Country
Stadium: Ida's Bridge (24 630)
Sponsor: Kebecois Sporting Association (Kebecois recreational company)
Tactic: 4-4-2
Manager: Eyðbjørn Højgaard
Starter 11: Ange Robiquet; Ange Rodin, Gwenaël Vidal, Dylan Mesny, Mathis Mossé; Charles Chauveau, Jasmin Mesny (C), Lucas Dufresne, Valentin Côté; Arnaud Allais, Micah Valdrin
Bench: Remi Castex Ange; Chopin Alexandre, Quint Davy, Subercaseaux Florentin, Poincaré Paul; Jégou Gabriel, Droz Hector, Loup Jordan, Jacquinot Quentin; Bonhomme Paulin, Tyron Duclos
Preview: Quebec is the representatives from Kebec's capital, the city of Sario, and my, my, this team has huge, gaping holes on its exterior, tis' will be its one and only season in the top-flight before no doubt being relegated to the SuperLigue after a 15th or 16th-placed performance, they're just TOO BAD to make an impact this year, Eyðbjørn Højgaard if 79 and too old to be coaching, last year, when he managed a upper-school team, there were frequent sitings of him dosing off on the bench, he's in no way, shape or form ready or able to manage the team representing the nation's capital, I doubt that by the tenth game they'll be able to fill even 1,000 seats.

Image
St. Teresa Holy Rollers C.F.
"THE JESUS-FREAKS"
St. Teresa-upon-Mary, Loki Country
Stadium: The Jesus Park (19 500)
Sponsor: Bible-Belt (Kebecois religious company)
Tactic: 2-4-3-1
Manager: Kristmar Olsen
Starter 11: Rachmiel; Sorath, Nathanael; Sachiel, Ongkanon, Ramiel, Tarshishim; Rehael, Sealtiel, Jahoel; Manevoly (C)
Bench: Shoftiel; Cerviel, Morael; Micah, Amitiel, Mydaiel, Zuriel; Amnayel, Yofiel, Adriel; Arazel
Preview: Saint Teresa-upon-Mary is considered by many to be the holiest city in Kebec, many Kebecois Catholics make their pilgrimages to this holy site to speak to the Lord and consult with various other beings that comprise of the Christian faith, apparently, its also normal for a team to be composed of all home-grown players as seen with their attempt here, however, the St. Teresa Holy Rollers are actually a pretty well-built team, we can expect good play from this side this season. Rachmiel may not be the best goal-keeper that Kebec has to offer, but he's sure as hell good enough to hold down the fort for the Christian side, expect Manevoly to be eating up the various counter-attacks that this team will depend on to survive.

Image
Ville Royale
"THE ROYAL"
The Village, Loki Country
Stadium: Village Square (23 650)
Sponsor: Patterson Dental (Kebecois healthcare company)
Tactic: 1-3-1-3-2
Manager: Oddvaldur Boman
Starter 11: Freddy Markussen; Toke Iversen (C); Johan Sommer, Thorvald Olsen, Benjamin Jespersen; Ebbe Smith; Nicolai Isaksen, Edvard Frandsen, Hjalte Karlsen; Germund Pihl, Phill Gables
Bench: Mads Steen; Aske Nørgaard; Kurt Aagaard, René Storgaard, Mads Albrechtsen; Torsten Hemmingsen; Dennis Hougaard, Benny Degn, David Kragh; Benny Fisker, Tommy Juntersnogot
Preview: Oddvaldur Boman brings in a rather [I]odd[/b] (ha, get it, nudge, nudge, wink, wink) approach to formations and tactics when he begins coaching at the helm of Ville Royale - he's pioneering a never-before-seen 1-3-1-3-2 formation which will allow for counter-attacking to be springed from both the defense and the midfielders and will rely on quickness and speed to defend the edges, particularly when facing top-heavy teams who beef their mid-lines, however, with nearly six attackers pushing the front for Kebec, there will be little to no excuses for not scoring goals if they fail too. Expect at best a 7th place finish, however, no less than 12th on this year's tables.

Image
Xanderaux
"THE X-FACTOR"
Xanderaux, Baldr Country
Stadium: X-Park (32 400)
Sponsor: Xenology (Kebecois music company)
Tactic: 4-4-2
Manager: Ásvarður Reginsson
Starter 11: Max Genest; José Caillat, Nathan Gagnon (C), Lambert Bassot, Colin Suchet; Dany Duclos, Fabien Trottier, Milo Beaubois, Jean-Louis Vaganay; Jean-Marie Deschanel, David Loiuse
Bench: Gilles Corriveau; Lionel Levett, Fabrice Lozé, Frédéric Jacquier, Benjamin Renaudin; Frédéric Pinchon, Gérard Mallet, Yves Dubos, Hervé Rodin; Renaud Blanchard, Farbrike Degn-Fikstan
Preview: "The X-Factor" will be relying on Nathan Gagnon, one of the best left-backs in the nation to push his agenda and hopefully allow for the Kebecois side to compete this year for a Krystal Kup or season championship, Gagnon adds defensive stability where it sorely lacks - around the edges, Manager Reginsson will have his hands full this season trying to taper down on the fringes of the team, something that should see steady improvement as the season goes along. Dany Duclos is a bright spot for the team, a 25 year-old left-midfielder who has a keen eye for the ball, we can expect to see flashes of brilliance from his side, this might be one of the best times to tune it for the new league.

People of the Month
Player: Vivien Verninac // Faliox Falls F.C. - Vivian Verninac is quickly showing why Faliox Falls F.C. manager, Amand Auberjonois pursued after him so hotly in the lead-up to the first season of the National League - no doubt a already written in to the next national team's coach for the next international game Kebev plays, Verninac is quickly rising thru the ranks, people are aleady eyeing him as a successor to Dominic Saint-Xevaux as Kebec's new star on the national stage, dominant performance from Verninac has him netting already twelve astounding goals as the season has just begun.
Youth Player: Gabriel Bassot // Økroner S.C. 1995 - Gabriel Bassot who is filling in for an injured first-team player, Tomas Easton is quickly rising thru the ranks and has been touted by a number of coaches as a shining star, at only 19, he has a lot left in his tank and his six goals to start the season are a bright spot for a bright team.
Manager: Branø // Økroner S.C. 1995 - Branø has resurrected a team that was seemingly built disposed scrap-metals to a formidable force in the league, currently occupying second in the league by virtue of goal-differential, Branø has proven resilient with his offensive-minded 3-3-4 tactic, Branø's name has also been in the whisperings for Kebec's national team head coach especially after the Kebec Footballing Union elections - I'd be paying close attention to the next few announcements stemming from the KFU if I were you.

Alexis Perth // SARIO

SARIO NATIONAL HALL -- Auguste Carpentier - that's the name you need to know wen it comes to the Kebec Footballing Union, Carpentier is now the Chairman of the Kebec Footballing Union and President of the KFU-Committee, effective immedietly, he's the de facto dictator of the Kebecois footballing scene and he isn't fooling around with his new-fangled job, one that insures him the trust of the Kebecois population and leadership of an organization mired by its inability to get things done and its instability on its senior team. In the election in which all 55 1-3 pyramid-level teams voted in had Carpentier emerge victorious in a three-man race in which he beat the former incumbent, Michel Park-Plessis and the other challenger, Phillipe Sarsuad, Carpentier's election signals a shift in the Kebec Footballing Union - away from the relaxed scene to a more diehard form of action that Carpentier will be in charge of implementing. Polling 37 votes, Carpentier easily lead over his closes competitor which was Park-Plessis who registered 11 votes while Sarsuad gained a measly 6 votes in the elections - mainly from a handful of Soccer Association (Kebecois tier-3) teams.

Park-Plessis who had formally lead the Kebec Footballing Union since its inception in 2034 was suspended from the organization for a minimum of five years, mainly owing from bribery and corruption among the former Kebecois top-league, the now-defunct Associated Soccer League - this followed immediately after the election in which Carpentier wasted no time in calling his suspension to vote. Carpentier is originally a lawyer from the Tundra Alps region of Thor Country - a small, relatively unknown village nestled in the permafrost of Thor Country, he entered into the race when it became crystal clear that Park-Plessis stood little to no chance of being elected once again, this was seen when Carpentier entered the race four months ago. Carpentier martialed his forces quickly - going from an unknown to a commander of change in a little over 120 days, promising to pave a cleaner, and brighter way for the KFU - I quote, "...I promise to bring the 'football' back into the Kebecois Footballing Union and the 'Kebecois' back in the Kebecois Footballing Union - the KFU is for all Kebecois peoples, not the rich, not the poor, we are all united under one flag, many races, and one football team..." He would continue, "... Its a euphoric feeling to be leading the KFU, we're a promising organization and we have untapped potential in both our national and junior teams that we must work to expand to new levels and heights, with the World Cup - the standard for multiverse footballing achievements, fast approaching, it is time for Kebec to finally improve itself to decency on the footballing stage, I wish to see Kebec emerge slowly as a bright spot in the growing football community, we're going to grow the domestic game here and make the Ligue Nationale a better-recognized symbol, we're going to bring in international players who can command respect and we're going to grow our football program to new heights."

Carpentier was visibly emotional much thru his speech, adding, "...We're going to bring respect back to the Kebec Footballing Union, unfortunately, mismanagement has eroded that ever so slowly and this has shown on the pitch as we've suffered embarrassment after embarrassment when our national teams' have played. Respect is an integral part of the game - our players are no doubt in contempt with the Union over our display towards them, their pay still sits at N$9,700 per year - players in the KHL-1 earn more per season than our nationals do per year, this will be one of building blocks of change. I have four years to right the ship in Kebec, this is something I do not take lightly, I will search far and wide to produce the best talent for Kebec, we're already discovering some and our work will pay off in the end. We've got a hell of a cleaning job to do in the Kebec Footballing Union, and its time we've all armed ourselves with a broom to do it."

Now, the info that was truly itching on peoples' minds was who he planned to name as the new national team manager, Carpentier had kept it a carefully guarded secret until today: "Unfortunately, the Kebec Footballing Union was forced to part ways with exceptional national team manager Jude Adjei-Kontoh as his three-cycle contract expired and we felt that we were not in a comfortable position to renew it - we do not think any less of Mr. Adjei-Kontoh, he is a fine Cosumarite who worked tirelessly to improve the national team and we saw that when he guided Kebec to the octofinals in the Global Cup of Soccer two years ago. As such, the KFU searched far and wide for a successor, we consulted with both the Mercedinian FA and the Chromatik FA, included, we also did a fair amouth of research into the Apoxian FA for a successor to continue where Adjei-Kontoh left off. Now, we're at a crossroads, and, I and my fellow board-members for the KFU-Committee feel that it would be in the best if we went with a Kebecois, it is my pleasure to welcome Økroner S.C. 1995 manager and the first national team manager, Branø as our new national team manager for the next three years, his position as manager for the senior national team is effective immediately and it is in my best hopes that we'll see the fruits of our labour soon. Please, join me in giving Branø a big and warm welcome as he gives us a few words!

As the last smattering of applause died down, Branø took the stage, a tall man, at 71 years-old, he was four years younger than Adjei-Kontoh, "... Hello all, many of you would remember me from six years ago, I remember standing on this stage and talking to you as an inexperienced man with relatively no training in management, now, stand before you once again to say thank you - each and every one of you for giving me this opportunity, I plan to do great things with the seniors team. We're ready to make the next step forward as Mr. Carpentier over here just said, at Økroner S.C. 1995, I was able to get the ball rolling at a good pace, I'd say a seven-win start is not to shammy in my self-evaluation, however Kebec has a new hurdle to cross now on the international front, and that's why I'd like to thank you for giving me another chance to rectify the Kebecois team and bring glory to the name that is Kebec. Glory to the Vikinger and glory to Kebec."

Alright -
So Kep is no more OOC-ly, but Kebec is still alive IC-ly but shall not be rped beyond its hockey newsires, its successor state shall be Razenthuria, a nation that I have yet to determine what it's rp-style shall be.
It was great being the ice-loving people that was Kebec, Kebec will always live thru my soul as the best nation at coming runner-up every time in 7ball tournaments. And somehow beating WCoH winners Cosumar, but losing to everyone else.
As for people who use our athletes, Kebecois overseas still apply, they just won't come home.
I ask for a transfer of ranking to be applied only for NSCF and WCOH rankings, I will speak with their respective commissioners/leaders.
Maybe I'll improve as Razenthuria.
Until then
^>^7

ALSO - As for the WPIC and IWPF, I only have one more cycle to manage, so for IC purposes, it will still be directed by the Kebecois dude but I will OOC-ly direct it fom Razenthuria.
