The time has come for the Dragons to take on the Stars in the FFA Copa D'Aeia 2017 finals match. The team entered the stadium a few hours ago and have been getting ready for their final battle. Everything had led up to this moment and the team wants nothing short of victory. Captain Shima Ryu said that anything short of victory would be "... a wasted season. Everything we've done will mean nothing if we don't win this game. We're going out there and putting everything on the line.
The only thing that matters right now is winning."

Across North Timeria the large crowds of people have increased exponentially. With victory in sight, people across the nation have flooded into Lia to see their team win the Copa this year. Fans have been very supportive and are expecting their team to continue their unbeaten streak and bring home the trophy. Jersey and merch sales have skyrocketed across the nation and international orders are on back order. With so much pressure on the team, many are hoping they don't break under pressure. No one expected them to do as good as they have and the world has their eyes on the young team. Secondary Manager Tobe Misato stated that "There's nothing on those boys stronger than their minds right now... They're locked in on victory right now, so if you think a little media attention is going to break them down you've got a big storm coming."

The Dragons have risen up to become a world-class team and what many fans are calling "The best team in soccer history.". These are mostly fanatics but the team defiantly hopes to gain the title one day and with a win, they'd defiantly be on track to that achievement. The team is still young and there are many years of success ahead of them. While many people want a win this year there's no doubt that the team could get another shot.

As the countdown continues people are becoming even more nervous. Downtown Lia has been closed off as the crowds have circled Dragonetworks Stadium waiting for the game. The President has even made an appearance in support of the team. President Sun-Hi was seen wearing a Dragon's Jersey while downtown supporting the team.

Dragons Win Copa 2017

The Dragons remain undefeated as they make their way to victory in the final match of the Copa D'Aeia 2017. With much joy, we are proud to announce that New Timeria's Dragons are world champions. Across New Timeria people are celebrating this great achievement in many cities parades were held in honor of the team. This Saturday there will be a parade in Lia where the entire team will make an appearance, along with a number of special guests. The team is expected to return to New Timeria this Friday and people are already lining up outside of Lia International Airport.

The game came down to a final goal within the last 2 minutes. The team pushed the ball down the pitch hard and the 3 midfielders handled the ball to create space for striker Shima Ryu. From the top of the penalty arc Ryu received the ball and fired off a beautiful curve goal to secure the victory. With this goal, everyone knew the trophy would be coming back home. In Lia people flooded out of Dragonetworks Stadium and local bars to parade the streets in celebration. They have eagerly been waiting for the return of the team so that they can continue their celebration.
