GCOS 3 // Kebec & Second Brazilian Empire

Postby Kep » Fri Jul 07, 2017 12:51 pm

The Association Sportive de Kebec in association with Kebec Footballing Union and the Associacão Brasileira de Desportos herebye welcome all forty participating nations of the second-most prestigious fully professional footballing championship in the multiverse, the Global Cup of Soccer.

  • Situated in northwestern AO, the Nordic Republic of Kebec is known for its staunch French-styled Nordic roots which also is influenced by the Navajo culture, a headstrong mash of cultures and bubble-wrapped and taped into one nation which eleven-million proudly call home. Prime Minister Brad Wall, one of the few White English-speaking peoples within the vast land that is Kebec rules over the nation which is a parliamentary constitutional republic, one of the many in the AO, Brad Wall has ruled over Kebec since 2019, rising to power in the 2019 elections, he is well-liked and holds a high approval rating of 87%. With its gruff Nordic culture, many see Kebec as a delightful and quaint place to visit, the views are incredible, the city of Faliox Falls is just immaculate, literally built over the largest known water-fall in the AO, Calix City, the rustic charmer still has the view of 'Nord-Town', the original main square of Calix City which burned down in 1995 after the Great War. Kebec is known as perennial second-placers within the multiverse, from 7Ball to water-polo, the nation can never take the next, step, now played on their home soil and after flashes of brilliance seen in last year's second edition of the Independents Cup, there's some home. We urge you to be wowed by the amazing nation that is Kebec, offering breath-taking views, state-of-the-art, modern infrastructure and of course a willingness to create the second-best show of football in the multiverse.
  • Enter the Second Brazilian Empire, a new and rising nation in the multiverse's footballing community, a nation spanning continents, including amazing rifts, vistas and a bunch of other things that we at the travel agency or too lazy to type out wish you to experience on your own to regal in its wonder. The Second Brazilian Empire spans over 40 states, charting thru the lands of "frica, Europe, and South America, inhabited by 342 million of people" (Second Brazilian Empire) -- making it no doubt the culture-mixing melting pot of Esvortipa and a place that has a spot for everyone. The nation's vast and sprawling capital, Brazília (officially opened in 2011) houses the Emperor who rules over his lands with a benevolent hand, the government situation in the nation is rather stable and has been rated as one of the safest countries from TripCreator.com four years running. The country is improving in its footballing stock, drawing the best Brazilian athletes from its diverse archive of talent pools, the country, similar to Kebec operates three national leagues with the top-flight dominated by the likes of Clube Paulista, one of the if not the richest clubs in the vast Empire. The city of Brazília's skyline is dominated b the view of the wonderous New Royal Palace, the home of the Emperor and his side-chicks/minions family.

The Global Cup of Soccer III is officially called in the Seconding Empire of International Globe Cup of Soccer Three.

The Second Brazilian Empire is a democratic nation home to 345 million of people. The official language is Portuguese, one of the 5 national languages, along with Spanish (spoken in the states of Bolivia, Corrientes, Paraguai, and Uruguai), Arabic (in Morocco), Danish (in Greenland and Iceland), and Greenlandic (in Greenland); In those states, signs are written in Portuguese and their respectively most spoken languages. The country comprises a wide range of weather conditions across a large area and varied topography, but most of the country is tropical. The Empire hosts seven climatic subtypes: equatorial (Amazon Forest), tropical, highland tropical (most of the country), semiarid (Northeastern region), temperate (Southeastern region), subtropical (in the Iberian Peninsula and Southern Region), tundra and ice cap climate (in Greenland and Iceland). The tournament will take place during the fall period in the Brazilian calendar (current year is 2012) in the month of April, spring period in the northern hemisphere. In that month the average temperature is 18°; 12° to the south and Portugal, and 24° to the north and Sinai.

Brazília - considered Capital of the southern hemisphere - is the Brazilian capital, winter home to the Emperor and his family. Brazília broke ground in 1932, but the project was postponed to 2004 after the Third Great War. The new city was built in 78 months, from 2005 to June 2011 and is home to 3 million people. It is the richest city in Brazil with a per capita GDP of R$71,083 and also the safest in the Second Empire. It has the famous Imperial Hall, the biggest museum in the world; the Winter Royal Palace, and the Estádio do Horizonte (Horizon Stadium), the biggest in the world with a total capacity of 375,000.

The United Kingdom of the Second Brazilian Empire - which trigram is SBE - is relatively new to the international scenario of the multiverse and the first soccer tournament of the nation was catastrophic, just like the second attempt; respectively, the Global Cup of Soccer 2 and the Campionato Esportiva 19. The Seconding Empire also took part in the Beach Cup 13; despite the advantage of hosting said tournament, the SBE didn't make into the quarter-finals. Brazilian clubs already took part in the three UICA competitions and in the Cygnus Cup - the Cup Winners' Cup - but they were way worse than the national team. However, national clubs were proven to be very successful in the MultiNation Cup, a championship held among the best teams of the eight countries members of the Multiversal Non-aggression Pact - the MNAP. The Country have three national divisions for association football/soccer plus various regional, pre-season tournament such as the Copa Metrópole and the Copa do Verão where big and wealthy clubs like Clube Paulista plays against regional, less-fortunate teams. There's also the Tour Brasileiro - the Brazilian domestic cup - and the Supercopa, the Brazilian Supercup held between Premiership and Domestic Cup winners of the previous season. Successfull clubs includes mentioned Clube Paulista from São Paulo, the second most popular Brazilian soccer team with over 30 million fans, four times winner of both First Division and Brazilian Tour; Vinte de Setembro from Porto Alegre, a club that despiste their friendship with separatist movements are the biggest champion of the Brazilian Tour with six titles and four First Divisions, three of these titles won in the past five years; and Guanabara, a Rio de Janeiro-based team with 38 million fans, the most popular in entire Brazil, five-times winners of the Primeirona (the first division for foreigners) and three time champions of the domestic cup, the Brazilian Tour.

Traveling to the Empire

The Second Brazilian Empire is not famous in the international stage but it is seeking recognition by hosting tournaments, establishing embassies and entering in trade agreements and alliances such as the Economic Alliance of Capitalist Nations - the EACN. Traveling to the Seconding Empire is not hard, however, it is quite expensive. To get to the Empire there are three methods: traveling from one region to another: trips made by countries in the region of Esportiva last from 8-12 hours, while trips from other regions such as AO and Rushmore will take 14-20 hours to arrive at one of our airports. You can also get one of the portals spread across the multiverse, reaching the Empire in 1 to 3 hours at most - the fastest method, but not the most conventional one. A final alternative would be using space shuttles, but this option is too much of a burden for the conventional tourist.

Cuisine and Culture

The culture of Brazil is primarily Western but presents a very diverse nature showing that an ethnic and cultural mixing occurred in the colonial period involving mostly Indigenous peoples of the coastal and most accessible riverine areas, Portuguese people, and African people. There were also significant cultural contributions from other people such as Germans, the English, Italians, the Lebanese, and the Japanese. For example, Brazilian Portuguese is a variation of the Portuguese language that includes a large number of words and slangs of Indigenous American and African origin. The Brazilian cuisine varies greatly by region, reflecting the country's varying mix of indigenous and immigrant populations. This has created a national cuisine marked by the preservation of regional differences. Examples are Feijoada, considered the country's national dish: black beans with fresh pork or beef. In Brazil, it is usually made with black beans; and regional foods such as vatapá (made from bread, shrimp, coconut milk, finely ground peanuts and palm oil mashed into a creamy paste), moqueca (salt water fish stew, tomatoes, onions, garlic and coriander slowly cooked in a terra cotta casserole), and acarajé (made from peeled beans formed into a ball and then deep-fried in palm oil, also found in West African cuisine). There are too international food companies like Kedai Steak, The Blacksmith, Royal Burguers, River Rock Pizza, and Contractor Café. And if you need a place to relax, one of the Stephen resorts and hotels little paradises is your destination.

The country has always been historically divided between liberalism and conservatism, with the latter dominating the elections since the death of Dom Pedro II, responsible for creation of the Brazilian territory and national identity. In recent years the seats in the parliament have been divided between the Social-democrats and the reactionaries, however, in 2009 the population elected a centrist coalition between the Centrist and the Liberal party. Despite some laws the Brazilian people aren't overly nationalistic neither liberal - perhaps they are the true definition of centrism. The current prime-minister is Mário Saldanha, whom also resides in Brazília. His priorities are Education, Defense, and Law & Order.

Law & Order

Brazilian laws are conservative in some aspects, while extremely liberal in others:

Recreational Drugs: Completely illegal. Only tobacco and alcohol permitted with certain restrictions.
Hard Drugs: Illegal to consume and sell. Addiction can result in imprisonment.
Prostitution: Legal and regulated.
Pornography: Legal, except child pornography (17 years or younger). Movies and drawning involving anthropomorphic characters in sexual acts are FORBIDDEN. Friendly reminder that those laws also applies to oriental erotic animations.
Legal Age: 18 (Right to vote, driving license minimum age, etc.).
Legal Age for Sex: 18 (16 with parental consent).
Maximum BAC to drive: 0.08
Drives on the: Right
Other: citizens can carry concealed guns (pistols and revolvers). Think twice before breaking the law.

Introduction

La République Nordique de Kebec (The Nordic Republic of Kebec) is a small, breathtaking country situated in northwestern Atlantian Oceania, a smaller country of sorts, however, an ethnic mixing pots, 13 major ethnicities refer to Kebec as their delightful (and frigid) home, despite their ethnic difference, the nation is able to father around their love for the nation that is Kebec and work thru all strife to recognize the beauty and sanctity of this oasis. Grounded in our roots of the ancient Norse peoples who once populated and roamed our lands freely, we return to our olden roots and believe in the work and testament to the Gods while being accepting to all world cultures, all 39 delegations visiting our humble abode will be treated to the upmost respect in their stays in Kebec where they will be offered beautiful views of the land, peoples and of course of the age.

History
According to Kebecois scientists, ancient Norsemen are said to have roamed toe Eckerbridge Fjords in northern Kebec, their bones have been tested, dating back to well over 1704 years ago, Kebec was one of the few, if not the only nation to to be controlled by the Norse, originally called Skyatia by the ancient Norsemen. The Gualrahaog Rocks is considered major evidence pointing to the proof of discovery by the Norse, many runes talking of land are branded onto these, rocks, since then, they've been stored in the Kebec National History Museum. Skyatia why in practice a civilized tribal chiefdom was in essence an anarchy as thru its forty traced years of existence, there was revolt after revolt against the various Chiefs of the tribe. Eventually, by 1754, the last remenant of Skyatia seemed to fade into the distance, there were no known survivors of the Skyatia gene pool alas, the Norse were not done.

Many years later, by the time 861 had rolled by, a new peoples settled on the island, a formerly slave-race of mixed-Navajo-Norsemen, conveniently bagged with the whites as the Bilagnaa peoples settled on the island, setting up the first known government system on Kebec, naming their nation Groenland, the nation was lead by Erikson I The Mauler (798-894) from the beginning of its existence until thirty years after its birth, Erikson was defined by his formidable naval forces which were able to quell three separate attempted naval invasions of modern-day Kebec, preventing the end of Groenland.

Groenland continued on peacefully for centuries, considered one of the most successful Norse settlements in medieval history, known throughout Atlantian Oceania as the peak of Norse genius, able to prolong its stay thru pacts, agreements and the likes of its navy, however, by the 15th century, Groenland was fading -- fading fast. The first cracks showed when Timothy-Staggart VI The Wise died peacefully in 1486, setting up a feud between his two sons, Erikson Son of Crow Hair (his half-Navajo child) and Pilutes-Staggart (his Norse son), the two factions split and Pilutes-Staggart eventually sought the help of various world powers to defeat Erikson Son of Crow Hair. Pilutes-Staggart would make the mistake of asking the French to assist his faction which they gladly did, their superb power flattening Erikson Son of Crow Hair's side, ending any chance of victory, Erkison Son of Crow Hair suffered a terrible fate, forced to cut off each of his fingers before a slow slice thru his neck ended his reign. Pilutes-Staggart's was much worse as the French binded him and plucked out each of his eyes with a knife, ending the Groenland line of succession once and for all. And here began the French colonialism of modern-day Kebec Pierre de Michel, a French commander is considered the discoverer of Kebec, having set foot on the lands first.

By 20th century however, the French were forced to re-examine Kebec's place in the world, having ruled over the country since the late-1400s, Kebec had lay in French hands for over 500 years, by 1923, a strong fervor took the nation by storm as neo-Groenland rallies ripped thru the nation blow-by-blow. Outspoken Independtists as they were called yelled for independence in their city squares, many were rounded up by the French police and thrown in jail, however that never stifled the spirit of Kebec, eventually winning independence in 1936.

Since then, 99 years have passed since the founding of the Nordic Republic of Kebec, alas not all peaceful as The Great War, Kebec's first civil war brought the country to its knees between 1981-1995, forcing the country to reconsider itself and patch itself up. Brad Wall, current Prime Minister has done his best to further the pursue of life in Kebec, faced with many modern-day crisis's such as global-warming, small rallies of neo-colonialism and of course the ever-present problem of dealing with bitter enemies, Maraque. Kebec is an ever-changing, ever-eternal nation with the fire of the Norsemen in their hearts, the power of the Gods in their skies and their destinies in their hands, Kebec shapes its destiny.

Geography
Many say Kebec's geography is identical to that of Greenland's, while this has never been fully true, many scientists and geologists have supported these claims and extensive research on the country known as Kebec has been thoroughly conducted by the Kebec Ministry of Science and Development.

Southern Kebec contains the three administrative regions of Baldr Country, Odin Country and Dagr Country, all three regions are named after Norse deities and all three host major cities, Baldr hosting Eckerbride Fjord, the second largest port-city in Kebec, Odin Country being home of Sario, the nations' sprawling capital and Dagr Country holding Parthenos, the largest Greek-populated city in Kebec. the area is known for its rolling hills and mushy-ish snow, while snow falls on the ground year-round, it is quite easy to penetrate its' surface as the snow here is never tightly packed. The pristine lakes in this region are also noted for freezing over frequently, the legendary, young Kebecois star, Dominic Saint-Pierre got his start playing on the lakes in nothing but shorts and a t-shirt. \

Of course there are some strange and irregular quirks to southern Kebec, most notably Jötunheimr Range, the large Kebecois mountain range get's its start in southern Kebec before curling in a snake-like formation into the nation of Maraque. Jötunn, the mountain-giants who roam these mountains are known to be very protective, in many cases, humans have died attempting to scale the mountain ranges, forcing the Kebecois government to make it illegal for any to attempt it.

To the central areas and the north, the climate with the exceptions of Big Bay City and Calix City are all-in-all quite much the same, an ice-sheet has essentially formed in these areas, despite this, many flourishing cities have formed in the nation, for example, Wilsinton, a city of 19,000 built over an ice-sheet has more snow-mobiles than people and is rumored to be developing the first flying cars in Kebec. In the dryer parts of Kebec, an essential tundra of sorts has formed, temperatures regularly stay in the -40°F year-round with the warmest its been in years set last year at 4°F, vegetation is of course limited here, however, the rise of coniferous treescapes has stunned many in recent years. Fauna in these areas includes the like of Caribou, polar bears, the Golden Platypus, Kebec's national animal is the Eikthyrnir Deer which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, only 275 known members of this species remain.

Kebec generally has one climate, essentially winter year-round, while the Gods no doubt influence it from time-to-time, one must also account for Kebec's general placement in the world, finding its home in northwestern AO along the lines of two frigid seas and being rained on by frozen water year-round. Generally, in the south, the warmest part of the country, temperatures range from -3°F to a warm and toasty 31°F, last year saw a record temperature of 45°F and a warmer year on record. Of course, in the north, there is not much to ask for if you prefer the cold, only two times in existence has the climate gone over the '0-mark', this year and on July 28th, 1982. Of course, our meteorologists are of top-quality, many of them consulting with the Gods to determine to placement of todays', tomorrows' and the futures weather-pattern with the use of mortal instruments every once-in-awhile.

Due to our general alignment in the world, Kebec is gripped daily by immense snow-storms or avalanches as these cascade thru our sacred lands on an average of 5.3 snowstorm and/or avalanches/day, this setting a multiverse record and a first for the Global Cup of Soccer. Of course, the Kebecois government has placed an excess of 200 Box-plows at every city hosting a Global Cup of Soccer-event to maintain a smooth freeway and keep our snow-lanes free for travel. We urge you not to panic in an event in which we are gripped by either two of our phenomena, many of our citizens have taken extensive training for dealing with these events and Kebecois building codes detail explicit information to build the safest buildings thru the lands.

The Bifrost Bridge, the other less-known phenomena is a notable time in Kebec, generally happening between January and March, during which an essential bridge of rainbows are formed and the portal to Asgard it opened to all seven realms, a select few Kebecois are allowed to intend including the high-members of Government and a lucky child in which they dine in the presence of the Gods and discuss pressing problems in Asgard and Kebec. The bridge opens in different parts of the country, last year it was Sario, this year the government has confirmed it will be Vikingtown, next year's arrival is slated for North Hampton -- a new place every year.

Visitation Process
Since the Arena Bombings at the Calix City Open, visiting Kebec has increased substantially, becoming one of the harder if not the hardest places to visit in Atlantian Oceania, for starters, Kebec's location makes it harder for most to visit, within the AO, using an aircraft will take around 7-13 hours to clear thru Kebec's godly protection in the air, travelling from the other three sporting regions, Esportiva, Rushmore and Astyria will take an estimated time of 12-25 hours using an aircraft and 30 hours using a state-approved portal spread thru the multiverse. Lastly, traveling in from any other region will take an estimated time of 45 hours with most of your time (30 hours) spent clearing thru international check-in and visa application and whatnot.

Getting around Kebec is notoriously strange, for starters, cars are almost obsolete in Kebec, generally, you are recommended to use a rented snowmobile which are available at 'National Snowmobile Rentals', the largest snowmobile-provider in the AO and in the multiverse or the Glide-Train, the Amtrak-like mag-lev government-funded train system connecting all parts of Kebec to and from each other. Snowmobiles are confined to driving on the massive and extensive National Snowways of the nation, many snowways have up to five lanes for snowmobile drivers to use, there are no speed-limits but we try to remind you not to express road-rage and attempt to knock off any person off their snowmobile. All visitors wishing to use a snowmobile must take a test at a National Driving Institute which will give you a guide to driving, if you pass the test, you will be able to rent or purchase a snowmobile, the NDI is conveniently located a stones-throw from the three major airports in Kebec, a block away in each case.

Transportation Kebec is notorious for its 'no-bars-held' methods, we do recommend you protect yourself at all times and make sure you stay off the snowways during 11pm-3am which is when government distribution begins to the many markets in Kebec.

When driving your snowmobile, we generally advise you to carry with you goggles, a non-flammable jacket, extra petrol and a fire-extinguisher alongside a visa-issued drivers-license, goggles will no doubt assist you when driving in heavy snow/hail, a non-flammable jacket is your best bet in a fire. National SnowMobile Rentals are known for having low gas remaining in their tanks, so, extra petrol will help you in the long run and of course, a fire-extinguisher in case you ever get caught in a bad spot (i.e. fire all around you and your burning up and dying). If you should be booked for a violation of the traffic codes in Kebec, your vehicle will be impounded and you shall be sent to jail for a duration of one work-week, following which you will be released and given three days to raise the necessary funds you need to pay the fines, if failure to do this happens, you will remain in jail for as long as Kebec wishes until your fine is paid.

Unless you suffer from profound stupidity, you would know the national and official religion of the Nordic Republic of Kebec is Norse paganism, however, we are willing and acceptant of all religions as Roman Catholicism is a dominant scene among French and Navajo peoples of the land.

During the short rule of Skyatia, Norse paganism was able to get a firm start upon the Kebecois mainland, dominating the scene during the entire existence of ancient Skyatia, its patron god was Dagr and at the time was the only thread that kept Skyatia held to civilization. The Norse goddess of fertility, Freyja was considered to be one of the most important Gods of the nation as scientists have uncovered ancient statues dedicated to her in Old Norse and rune language.

Norse paganism remained dominant until the arrival of French colonialism, during which Norse paganism largely unraveled at a rapid pace as Roman Catholicsm began to be the law of the land within fifteen years of its arrival. However, many records from this time point to many Norse worshippers who were martyrs for their beliefs, so the exact number of known Christians are contested tightly between those who willingly accepted it and those who practice paganism in secrecy.

Roman Catholicism was a dominant aspect of Kebec until the late-1700s upon the arrival of the Navajo who attempted to spread their religion and the likes of spiritualism thru the lands but were promptly crushed by the French colonial government. Bye 1810, many Navajos had been forced to accept Roman Catholicism and much if not all of the country were strong converts and Catholics. As times changes, so did liberalism as the French began to relax their religious laws, by 1899, some forms of Christianity aside from Roman Catholicsm was allowed, alas, people had to wait until 1910 until an entirely new religion resurfaced as during this time, a series of religious laws were passed, chief among this the allowance of Norse paganism once again. Neo-Norse paganism was rampant thru the country as the nation was quick to re-establish its national identity. By the 1920s, the arrival of the Cherokee had allowed for them to spread their cultures among the lands.

At the time of publication, Kebec is a religious melting pot, 48% of the population adheres to Norse paganism, 35-percent are Christians, scattered between the Catholics and the Prosestants where the Lutheran branch leads the rankings, the remaining 17% is split between Cherokee tribal religion and Greek paganism almost evenly. Kebec has grown to be an accepting country for all religions, committed to welcoming all, even Atheists are accepted with free and open hands. Norse pagan ministries are notable for large attendances, recently, the National Christian Comission, the governing Christian body in Kebec has attempted to draw more people to the religion by hosting frequent food-drives for the poor and underserved in the community.

Language
While many ethnicities and languages have found a landing in Kebec, only six of these can attest to being in 'the majors', a group that includes the original languages of pre-medieval, colonial and present-times languages, these included Old Norse & Runes, French, English, Navajo, Icelandic and Cherokee. However, by far the most popular is French, followed by English and Old Norse & Runes which remain tied, it is advised you carry with you a [insert your language here]-to-French dictionary or some form of translation device in order to speak with a regular Kebecois. 94% of all Kebecois declare French as their first language while of the 6% who do not speak it, 84% of them know a sizeable amount of it. As the others line up, English is adhered to by 82% with 1% as their mother-tongue, Old Norse & Runes with 82% with it and 4% as their mother tongue, Navajo with 16%, 0.1% as their mother-tongue, Icelandic with 54% and 03% registering it as their mother-tongue, finally, Cherokee, spoken by 27$ with 0.6% acknowledging it as their mother-tongue.

In edition, consult your travel agency with a guide to the three major languages, French, English and Old Norse & Runes as this will help you a great deal on your superb visit to Kebec, we hope you find Kebec to be gratifying and have the appropriate amount of shiny buildings desired by you.

Food & Basic Table Manners
Most Kebecois eat three or four regular meals a day, usually consisting of a cold breakfast with coffee, a cold (usually packed) lunch at work and a hot dinner at home with the family. Depending on the timing of family dinner (and personal habit), some may add a cold meal in the late evening, typically a simple sandwich.

Kebecois meals are divided into two areas, frokost which is breakfast and is served between 6-8AM and middag which is dinner, served 4 and 5PM. Additionally, if you are suffering from intense starvation, supper, called kveldsmat is served between 7-8PM. During frokost, Cereals such as corn flakes, muesli and wheat cereal are also popular, particularly with children, as is yogurt, additionally, yellow-custard is extremely popular among older adults, particularly the elder peoples of the nation. Middag is worshipped as the most important meal of the day and typically includes carbohydrate-rich foods such as potatoes and protein-rich foods such as meat or fish.

Lanzo FA Squad for GCOS3

The Psychotic Dictatorship of Lanzo had risen to power 2 years ago before temporarily disappearing into the midsts of the ocean. After the 4-6 month hiatus from the multiverse, the nation composed of sinister squids has arisen from the deep seas of the Ultimaverse to spread their plots once more. With the help of many, many interpreters, Lanzo has gathered enough attention to make their debut in the Globe Cup of Soccer! Will the sinister squids prove themselves worthy of such a stage?

Roster

With the powers of toxic waste and bioengineering, the squids have developed a new breed of squid clones. The clones have been given special code before being mass produced, which allows each one to take the form of another entity. For the tournament, special clones have been created to resemble of that of a young, strong leader (George Bush). This form will be the appearance of each and every player and staff member on the team. No clone has any actual name, but challengers of the team are free to create aliases for them.
Image
This is a clone squid given no special coding whatsoever. You'll likely see many of these in small aquariums to "cheer" on the team.

Image
This is the basic appearance of the squid clones in the WC qualifiers. You may notice they look a little "bushy".

RP Permissions- Anything goes really. The clones' only weaknesses are acid, explosives, and saltine crackers. You can RP their deaths, but just know that several backup clone squids have also been produced. Just, you know, don't kill my entire team in one go, ok?

Kits- TBA

Other Things- Style: +5

Home venue: TunaGo! Stadium (40,000), Squidopolis, Lanzo

Bape-Supreme's National Football Team

currently unranked
nickname: the V I S I O N A R I E S (team), the V R O T H E R H O O D (fans)

*bape-supreme's anthem is always set to the tune of a song that is trending at the time, therefore bape-supreme's anthem changes quite frequently. there is a biannual referendum on whether or not to change the tune of the national anthem; more often than not, the citizens vote to change the tune to a new song. this causes a headache for the government, as they frequently have to scramble to tweak the lyrics of the anthem to fit the new tune.

The Team

football is a relatively recent concept in the country. although it has been played in some capacity since Bape-Supreme's founding, it was played as a schoolyard game. the game started to become more popular as more immigrants, who had come from countries where football is more established, came to Bape-Supreme. even though the game had a significant following in immigrant communities, who would play pickup games in the nation's parks on the weekends, it never really caught on among the locals, who only like things that either have prestige or success; football has neither of these things yet in Bape-Supreme. there was no national soccer team, until Jacob Brioni, a multi-millionaire who made his fortune off of pizza delivery, gave a large grant to start a football team. it was hard to find enough Hypebeasts to make a team, because they were not too interested in football. however, they were able to lure in a group of young men to play with the promise of free designer clothes if they joined. without further ado, here is Bape-Supreme's team.

Manager Kevin Brioni 26 yo- the firstborn son of Jacob Brioni, he became the manager as a result of a clause included in the grant. he has a very commanding personality and appears fit to lead a team like this. unfortunately, he knows almost nothing about football, but his pride prevents him from learning more about the game. this leads to situations where he gets confused about the team's gameplan or cannot make any objective comments about the game during a press conference. As a result, most of the tactics are handled by his assistant (and little sister) Jessica Brioni.

Assistant Manager Jessica Brioni 23 yo- the little sister of the manager Kevin Brioni, she was her brother's first pick to be his trusty aide. she loves to read, and acquired most of her knowledge about the game through books. she is also quite smart and level-headed. she is one of the only people on Kevin's staff that actually has useful knowledge about football. as a result, almost everything related to tactics falls to her. despite only starting to research the game two years ago, she really understands the game and her players, and can bring out the best in them.

Tactics- Bape-Supreme plays in a 3-4-3 formation that is designed to take advantage of one of their only strengths; speed. their fastest players are on the wings, and they try to get the ball out to the wings as much as possible. their tactics employ lots of long balls and through balls to get the ball where it needs to be. they play a offensively-minded game; their style modifier is 3. when the manager Kevin Brioni was asked why their style modifier is 3, he simply replied, "my mom used to tell me that 3 is the magic number. so I guess that means we're magic lol."

Image

First Team- the best 11 Hypebeasts in all of Bape-Supreme. none of them play professionally; most are stars in their local sunday league
GK- #1 Lucky Bartolomeo 19 yo- he originally was a midfielder, but Kevin made him play goalkeeper just because his name was Lucky. "if his parents named him Lucky, then he must be lucky, and we need all the luck we can get back there". his hand skills are pretty abysmal, but he is pretty good with his feet, and distributes the ball to Ronny Giroux and Jared Viteri with ease.

RB- #22 Ronny Giroux 22 yo- a great communicator. most of the plays start in the back with him. he is a team leader, and admired by his teammates, so Jessica Brioni made him assistant captain.

CB- #14 Leopoldo Freund 25 yo- he is a big guy, with a stocky build. he uses this to his advantage, delivering bone-crushing tackles and dispossessing opponents of the ball. his aggressiveness tends to earn him bookings, but is nevertheless a huge asset to the team.

LB- #6 Jared Viteri 24 yo- he works with Ronny Giroux to get the ball up to the midfield. he has many tricks up his sleeve.

RM- #12 Christopher Chaput 18 yo- the best passer in the midfield; connects with Daiki Renaud to start attacking plays.

CM- #46 Bettino James 20 yo- the x-factor on the team. he is quite good with long-range passing, and uses through balls to the attackers to create chances.

CM- #28 Marcelo Abe 26 yo- the oldest person on the team; like Ronny Giroux, people look to him for leadership. even though he is not too fast, his stamina is his biggest asset; when the others are tired, he can really carry the team.

LM- #11 Santino Di Antonio 16 yo- the youngest player on the team. he uses his pace to deliver and distribute the ball to the attackers and defenders.

RW- #7 Daiki Renaud 18 yo- he has a deadly mixture of powerful shot and speed. can score from close up or far away. can also slip away from defenders and make chances.

LW- #9 Gottfried Waller 19 yo- unlike Daiki Renaud, whose specialty is power, Gottfried's specialty is accuracy. he is a free kick specialist, and can curl the ball over walls and curl the ball into the goal, making him a threat for short-range shots.

ST- #10 Daniel Brioni (captain) 21 yo- Jacob Brioni's youngest son. never played football before, but forced his way into the team. chose number 10 because he says that he is "as good as Messi". too many football video games have gotten to his head, and he thinks that he is better than he actually is. although he is captain, he lacks leadership, and tends to hog the ball.
Roles-
short free kicks- Gottfried Waller
long free kicks- Bettino James
penalties- Daiki Renaud
left corner- Santino Di Antonio
right corner- Christopher Chaput

Subs and Reserves-most of them do not have any practical experience playing football at a big stage; some have played at the park, others have played a video game. however, all of them most of them have a passion for the game

In short, I'm cool with almost everything as long as it doesn't entail a) rendering my players or staff unable to perform their duties for a extended period of time or b) a mass booking of my players/staff. I will reciprocate your actions. When in doubt, TG me first.

Regadan National Football Team

Starting XI

Nickname: Súper Águilas/Las Águilas (Super Eagles/The Eagles).
Rank: 234th.
KPB: 0.86.
Style Modifier: +1.5.
Formation: 5-3-2 Box Overload.
Playing Style: Players 2 and 6 drop back on the defensive to form a solid 5 man defensive wall, but on the offensive they push up towards the half way line to supports 7, 8 and 9. Players 9 and 7 generally push to the left or right quarters of the box to either shoot or pass it or onto the wings to deliver a cross in which 10 and 11 would receive due to their high press. Player 8 can be considered the third man in the offensive line as they push up high and often towards the middle of the box. This allows for a defensive formation such as the 5-3-2 to be played with a more aggressive manner in the upper midfield and forward areas of the pitch without compromising the defensive security of the back 5 or the rest of midfield.

THE DEMOCRATIC PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF THE UNITED SOCIALIST STATES OF PRIDNESTROVIA
NATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL TEAM

It has been at least six years since Field Marshal Stepan Stepanovich Stepanenko was defeated in glorious battle against the forces of the Democratic Republic of Abanhfleft, six years since the greatest field marshal the world has ever seen was undisputably beaten by the forces of a faraway country that was still in the midst of recovering from a devastating religious civil war. Those six years have seen humiliation upon humiliation bestowed by these meddling foreigners upon the once and only rightful ruler of the United Socialist States, Field Marshal Stepan Stepanovich Stepanenko. The nation, and our Great Leader, was forced to accept a humiliating peace with the "Democratic" Republic, which saw our glorious nation become a mere "client state" of these troublesome foreigners. In exchange, Great Leader Field Marshal Stepan Stepanovich Stepanenko, would remain in position as rightful ruler of the Democratic People's Republic of the United Socialist States of Pridnestrovia, as befitting his station in life. Yet knowing that he is only ruler by virtue of a foreigner's whim has weighed down hard on the Great Leader Field Marshal. This resulted in the great United Socialist States closing itself off from the rest of the multiverse, so that no foreigner would see the shame that had been wrought upon the Great Leader.

But no longer. Great Leader Field Marshal Stepan Stepanovich Stepanenko has decided that the time for seclusion is over. No longer will Pridnestrovia remain under the shadow of the foreigners that had forced itself upon our great nation. We will show that Pridnestrovia has what it takes to become a real and true member of the multiversal community. But we will not do it through our military force. Instead, we will show that we are the best in the multiverse through sports! Sports, which is just codified barbarism! This will show the multiverse that Pridnestrovia is the best sporting country in the world! We will defeat every other nation that dares come up against us!

(OOC: I love being a dictatorial country's propaganda writer)

BASIC INFORMATION
Name of nation: The Democratic People's Republic of the United Socialist States of Pridnestrovia
Demonym: Pridnestrovian
Team colors: Green and red
Style modifier: +4 (Quite an attacking side)
Formation: 3-5-2
Head coach: Werner Ceausescu (67 y/o, Pridnestrovia)

STARTERS
GK: Ferdinand Julius ABBING 31 y/o, Dinamo Bender Image
Five years as the starting goalkeeper of Dinamo Bender and leading them to the Pridnestrovian Cup twice in those five years is surely the sign of a great goalkeeper, good enough to dethrone Svyatoslav Alkaev from the number 1 spot and take it for himself. Ferdinand Abbing is an excellent space manager and can handle anything from inside his box and also doesn't hesitate to rush out and put fear in the hearts of rushing opposition players. (Basically a clone of Manuel Neuer.)

RB: Yuri Artyomovich TYMOSHENKO 30 y/o, Sporting Ceneisis Image (Abanhfleft)
Younger brother of Pridnestrovian women's national football team defender Yelena Tymoshenko. Like his sister, Yuri is good in the air and has a wicked good right foot that can send the ball into the back of the net if he hits the ball just right. But unlike his sister, when he turns crap, it becomes immediately noticeable during the 90 minutes of play as when he's crap, he's really, really crap.

CB: Aleksey Valentinovich VASILYEV 32 y/o, Locomotive Imgortur Image (Abanhfleft)
Whoever said that a back line of only three defenders would be torn to pieces in the Fleftic Premier League obviously hadn't predicted the rise of Aleksey Vasilyev in the center back position, and while the departure of Charles Amoroso to Farfadillis may leave Locomotive in a dangerous position following their 7th-place finish last season, but hopefully some activity in the transfer window will add some strength to the backbone and add defensive strength alongside Vasilyev.

LB: Olek Konstantinovich BUDNY 34 y/o, Rosenpfelblatz City Image (Abanhfleft)
Budny replaced the aging Isidor Petrov in the starting lineup after an injury suffered while playing a friendly against Abanhfleft convinced Petrov to retire from international football. Budny is no slouch in defense, being a capable backup left-back for Rosenpfelblatz City and doing his share of game-winning or even game-tying tackles and defensive headers. He also does well for his country, although this is the first time that he has a chance to show that he has the capacity to do it for the whole ninety minutes.

RM: Mark Ilyich POLZIN 28 y/o, Elektrik Admiralnaya Image

RDM: Demyan Isayevich WASYLYK 32 y/o, Dinamo Bender Image
Wasylyk plays well for both club and country, and he did score the 20-yard shot that let the Dynamos equalize against Sheriff Tiraspol in the Derby of All Derbies (even though he missed the penalty shot during the Pridnestrovian Cup Final against the same team). He has a penchant for the long shot from outside the box, and he does tend to convert these chances half of the time. Perhaps being a little more clinical in finishing shots and taking chances from inside the box could turn him into a real goalscoring threat.

CDM: Valentin Olegovich FUNAR 33 y/o, Admiral Novorossiysk-na-Dnistr Image
Funar's calming presence in the center of midfield means that little to no mistakes happen in that part of the pitch whenever he's around. He has a mean tackle and can thunder in shots from long range, sometimes as far as the halfway line, but if he has a weakness, it is that sometimes he can be caught off guard when it comes to going back on defense. He plays well for Admiral Novorossiysk, but many people believe that he deserves a move to another, bigger club. Perhaps his performances in the Copa Rushmori will finally get him a move away from the midtable club.

LDM: Vladislav Branimirovich BOGOMOLOV 33 y/o, Sheriff Tiraspol Image
One of the more dependable players in Pridnestrovia's packed defensive midfield, Bogomolov is yet another product of Sheriff's Academy of Football, and this shows in his high defensive output and work rate. Bogomolov will not hesitate to tackle and get physical with opposing players, which means that he has a career filled with bookings and sending offs. Opposing players may try to use this to get Bogomolov sent off, but more times than not, he doesn't need too much encouragement. He's happy and willing to do much of the dirty work himself.

LM: Demyan Georgiyevich PAJARI 27 y/o, Dinamo Bender Image
Pajari is the second player to be elevated from the bench to the starting lineup following the retirement from international football of his Dinamo teammate Yaroslav Wasylyshyn, who made the decision to hang up his international boots after getting injured in the same friendly against Abanhfleft that also convinced Isidor Petrov to retire from international footy. This isn't to say that Pajari isn't any good. He's got tons of potential, whole bagloads of them, and about the only thing holding him back from realizing this is the fact that he's got two left feet and can't control a long ball to save his life.

CF: Boyan Metodiev RADEV 29 y/o, Marinos Thimpodopoulos Image (Fhulghamous Peninsula, playing in the Fleftic Premier League)
Radev's performances in Baptism of Fire 58, World Cup 71 and Cup of Harmony 63 earned him a transfer from Sheriff Tiraspol's bench and into the starting lineup of Marinos Thimpodopoulos, the Fhulghamous-based club that turned into last season's surprise package in the Fleftic Premier League, not only achieving safety within the top flight but also getting up to a 10th place finish, the club's best ever finish to date, which isn't saying much considering that that was the Mariners' first season in the Prem. Radev combined with Pruski international Lukasz Przyborowski and German-born striker Friedemann Aleshire to make Marinos the third-highest scoring team in last season's Premier League, with only Arsenal de Releinthi and Riuwiee United scoring more than the colonial club. Radev is currently on hot form and will look to pass this onto his appearances for the national team.

CF: Mehmet Mustafa Selim TIRYAKI 35 y/o, Arsenal de Releinthi Image (Abanhfleft), captain
Tiryaki seemed like a panic buy to many Gooners when Godric Wexler picked him up from Sheriff Tiraspol as a bench option for Gal Tza'eer and Godzilla. Now, two years later, Tiryaki is now an important player in the side, and it's all down to his dedication in winning back the ball. He doesn't have the strength and hold-up play of Tza'eer and the outright doggedness of Godzilla, but when the ball is at Tiryaki's feet, magic happens. There's no other way to describe it. Surely he'll be able to do it for his country as well. He was put in the starting lineup to allow for the injured Peter Schermer to recover from his injury.

RESERVES
GK: Svyatoslav Ivanovich ALKAEV
33 y/o, Marinos Thimpodopoulos Image (Fhulghamous Peninsula, playing the Fleftic Premier League)
One of the most recognizable faces of Pridnestrovian football. Alkaev was one of the rising stars of Sheriff Tiraspol's renowned Academy of Football and was already making waves as the Peacekeepers' cup keeper, making a couple of penalty shootout saves to win Sheriff the Pridnestrovian Cup over rivals Dinamo Bender when he received his first call-up as Pridnestrovia's starting keeper in the Baptism of Fire, which paved the way for his eventual signing by Fleftic Premier League side Marinos Thimpodopoulos, based in the Fleftic colony of Fhulghamous Peninsula, alongside fellow Pridnestrovian international Boyan Radev. There is no way but up for Alkaev, especially if this Copa Rushmori campaign is as good as the last one.

THE COLONY OF THE FHULGHAMOUS PENINSULA
NATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL TEAM

The Colony of the Fhulghamous Peninsula (Full-Gah-Moose) was first established on 6 December 2008, when Fleftic explorers landed on what was then a previously undiscovered continent. These explorers landed on a large peninsula that they named Fhulghamous because of its rich and lush green forests. One of the explorers then fell into an old mine shaft while exploring the peninsula and discovered that the entire peninsula was lying on top of one of the biggest diamond deposits ever discovered by mankind. Once the explorers announced their discovery to the Fleftic government, the Democratic Republic Army Corps of Engineers was quickly dispatched to help speed up the establishment of the colony by helping in constructing settlements and assisting in constructing mining facilities to extract the diamonds within the land.

The Colony of the Fhulghamous Peninsula was officially established as a colony of the Democratic Republic of Abanhfleft on 6 September 2010 following the signing of Democratic Republic Act No. 2340. The colony's capital would be Port Thimpodopoulos, named after Sergeant Major Pythagoras Thimpodopoulos of the Army Corps of Engineers, who tragically died of a heart attack during the construction of the settlement that would eventually bear his name. Today, Port Thimpodopoulos has a population of ten million, accounting for just under half of the total population of the colony. Other cities in the colony were Besanza, Tadoki, Haritzaga City and Thereisnogodabad, home of Multiverse Premier League club Thereisnogodistan FC.

The colony is under the leadership of Governor-General Petrarchos Kulbano, brother of Minister of Colonial Affairs Demetrios Kulbano. His rule saw the Fhulghamous Peninsula's ascent to being one of the most economically-productive colonies of the Democratic Republic, but due to the colony's distance from the mainland Governor Kulbano is slowly beginning to treat the colony as his own personal fiefdom. This was one of the reasons why he had decided to send forth a petition to send a national team to the Di Bradini Cup, the Multiverse's top under-21 football competition. Unfortunately due to some last-minute troubles, the Fhulghamous Peninsula's team was not allowed entry into the Di Bradini Cup, leaving many people in the colony a bit unfulfilled. But when another chance to send forth a national team revealed itself, Governor Kulbano was quick to submit his team's entry, and this time he made sure that the wouldn't miss out on another chance at participating in an international competition.

The current team is mostly composed of players 21 years old or younger since Governor Kulbano originally envisioned this team participating in the Di Bradini Cup. Any players older than 21 were supposed to be coaching staff for the attempt at the U-21 Cup, but circumstances had forced to suiting up for their colony for this tournament. Nevertheless, everyone believes they've got what it takes to win it all. Also, following the relative success of the team in the Runner Cup and the Campionato Esportiva, a local league system has now been established in the colony, even as their two most successful teams (Marinos Thimpodopoulos and Thereisnogodistan FC) are now part of the Fleftic league system.

BASIC INFORMATION
Name of Nation: The Colony of the Fhulghamous Peninsula
Demonym: Fhulghamousian, Colonist
Team colors: Green and gray
Style modifier: +4.00 (Yet another very attacking side)
Manager: Orestes Katsouranis Jr. (53 y/o, Fhulghamous Peninsula)
Assistant manager: Paulus Wolf (51 y/o, Pridnestrovia)
Trainer: Wendell Beckett (69 y/o, Abanhfleft)

STARTERS
GK: CAPOEIRISTA
32 y/o, Airbus Fhulghamous Besanza Image, vice-captain
Bradini Vazconcelos Redentor, as Capoeirista is called in real life, is one of the better keepers playing both for and in the Fhulghamous Peninsula. Named after the well-known international football star Simone Di Bradini, Capoeirista seemed destined to play as a forward, but alas, he found himself more comfortable playing between the goalposts, and that was how he ended up playing as a goalkeeper. When he's not playing football, he teaches people in the martial art of capoeira, which is how he gained his current nickname. His capoeira skills have also proved intangible once he combined it with his goalkeeping training to become one of the best keepers in the colony, producing spectacular saves that are almost akin to martial arts moves. There's no question that he's a good keeper, but the team's performance in the recent Campionato Esportiva doesn't really reflect that, but it could be said that it's more the fault of the defense than Capoierista's personally. Can they improve in time for the World Cup qualifiers?

RB: Pau PALOMER 23 y/o, Thereisnogodistan FC Image (playing in the Fleftic Premier League)
Once again, nothing much distinguishes Pau from the rest of the center backs in the Fleftic sphere of influence. About the only noteworthy thing about him is that he shows excellent defensive skills for his age and has now become a starter for Thereisnogodistan FC. Why exactly he's still not starting is a bit of a mystery, but with John Montemayor looking more and more likely to announce his retirement from both club and international football anytime soon, Pau might soon just get the chance to represent the Fhulghamous for real this time.
UPDATE: John Montemayor has finally announced his retirement from international football, and Pau Palomer has been named the new starting right back of the Fhulghamous national team.

RCB: Naftali SINGERSTEIN 25 y/o, Sporting Ceneisis Image (Abanhfleft)
A promising young center back whom Sporting Ceneisis immediately snapped up as soon as the Colonists' campaign in the Campionato Esportiva was over, but then immediately sent him on loan to Oontaz Dert Li Ng's Botafogo de Maranao. Singerstein is the kind of center back to sit back and be the last man between the keeper and any marauding attackers, although a lot of times he has to be reminded that there is such a thing as the offside rule. If he does play someone offside, most often it will be by accident. Now back at Ceneisis.

LCB: John HAINAUT 23 y/o, Miroz Old Boys Image (Abanhfleft)
The other half of Fhulghamous's central defensive pairing. Hainaut has since picked up a contract for Miroz Old Boys in the second tier of Fleftic football. He's the kind of defender that moves up with the attack and takes the occasional long shot from outside the box from time to time, but he does well to go back to the defense when the opponent marauds up the field. Still, he's caught out of position more times than not, but he's young, and there's still time to learn how to be a proper center back.

LB: Tatsuo KAMAKURA 24 y/o, Marinos Thimpodopoulos Image (playing in the Fleftic Premier League)
Maybe an older, more experienced left back could've been selected to play for the national side. Unfortunately, a left back from the Fhulghamous Peninsula better than Kamakura hasn't been discovered yet, so the team will have to settle for him for the moment. But surely there must be some quality in him though as he's been signed by Marinos Thimpodopoulos, the surprise package of the recently concluded Fleftic Premier League season. An older and more experienced left back with championship-winning experience has now been found in Riuwiee United's Sokratis Tzorvas, but because Tatsuo has since proven himself capable for the Fhulghamous, Tzorvas will sit on the bench unless something bad happens to Tatsuo.

RM: Elliot EDISON 29 y/o, Arsenal de Releinthi Image (Abanhfleft)
Elliot is all about speed and pace. In the training grounds, he's almost as fast as the fastest man on earth, and no teammate has ever managed to beat his time in sprints. But in scoring goals, where it matters most, Elliot has been a little bit lacking. Sure, he makes good runs into pockets of space, but when it's time to apply the finishing touch, he just can't seem to find the back of the net more times than he does. The fact that people consider Elliot scoring 10 goals for Arsenal de Releinthi in a given season a milestone is an indicator of his lack of shooting prowess, which has led to confusion on whether he's more suited to be a playmaking midfielder rather than a goalscoring winger. He used to play for Abanhfleft in friendly games and a few qualifying matches but has since managed to shift his allegiance to the Fhulghamous Peninsula due to the fact that his grandfather Uriah Edison is now a colonial councilor alongside the likes of Rashidunnin Ali.

RCM: Kieran MOSKOWITZ 23 y/o, Palatine Opals Image (Pridnestrovia)
Box-to-box midfielder who got a contract with Pridnestrovia's Palatine Opals due to his impressive work in the Runner Cup and the Campionato Esportiva. Looks to repeat his earlier heroics for the country in this Global Cup of Soccer.

LCM: Lucian VON FRANKREICH 26 y/o, Union Rheinburg Image (Pridnestrovia)
The other Fhulghamousian central midfielder was signed by another Pridnestrovian club, namely Union Rheinburg. Frankreich is a holding midfielder who can get the ball out of sticky situations and feed passes to the attack, although he is susceptible to being crowded out with the right pressure.

LM: Aidan POWER Jr. 26 y/o, Zoloroni Metropolitan FC Image (Mercedini)
The only mystery around Aidan Junior, son of local Nepharim legend Aidan Power Sr., is why such a good right midfielder such as himself has been passed over by almost every club that could possibly sign him. He's good enough to play for a Premier League side, but not even Godric Wexler and Arsenal de Releinthi had taken a chance on him. There must be an element to his game that has turned off teams to him. Is there hope for him to get a club this time around? Apparently there is, as Mercedini's Zoloroni Metropolitan has decided to take him onboard. He also used to play in right midfield but with Elliot Edison now cleared to play for the Fhulghamous, Aidan Junior will be moved to the left where he has shown flashes of even more blinding brilliance.

CF: SEBASTIANO Pelucci 28 y/o, Riuwiee United Image (Abanhfleft), captain
The other player who plays in the Fleftic Premier League, Sebastiano is a recognized striker playing for Riuwiee United, one of the top teams in the Fleftic top tier. He's got his fair share of goals for both club and country, and he'll be looking to add to his tally in the Campionato Esportiva.
IMPORTANT: This player should be referred as Sebastiano to differentiate him from his brother Salvatore Pelucci.

CF: Max FETFATZIDIS 27 y/o, Rosenpfelblatz City Image (Abanhfleft)
No one had been paying attention to Max before he helped get Marinos Thimpodopoulos promoted to the Fleftic Premier League, and his amazing 32 goals that season was enough to earn him a N$40m transfer to Rosenpfelblatz City. Max would've taken over Sebastiano Pelucci's spot, but Mephistopheles injured himself playing baseball with the Trendstart Conquistadors, so Max is starting for the Fhulghamous now.

RESERVES
GK: Timothy MERLINSON 20 y/o, Acoflosa United Image (Mercedini)
Timothy is an average goalkeeper in an average team, literally. There's nothing that sets him apart from other goalkeepers both in Abanhfleft and the Fhulghamous Peninsula, and while he may have once been part of Marinos Thimpodopoulos' academy and stood a good chance of making it into the first team, he decided to take his chances somewhere and requested that he be cut from the team. This resulted in him becoming a bit of a wanderer, flitting in and out of teams throughout the Fleftic sphere of influence, and this is also most probably what cost him the chance to take the starting spot in the Peninsular national team when Rashidunnin Ali decided to hang up his boots once again. But Timothy has appeared to have finally settled down with Mercedini's Acoflosa United, where he hopes to make an impacteven if it's just off the bench.

GK: Wanakamahaga DUDABULATULA 20 y/o, Charalambos FC Image
Dudabulatula (that's his given name, by the way) is the crown prince of the Ebolatuli, the largest local tribe living in the Fhulghamous before the arrival of the Fleftic colonists. The integration of the local tribes into the colony is a story that has a lot of twists and turns in it, but it's safe to say that the Ebolatuli are one of the tribes that have managed to survive the transition into the 21st century with their sanity and cultural identity relatively intact. They also took really well to association football, and Dudabulatula is just one of many young people from the tribe who are looking to get opportunities to see the rest of the multiverse through the medium of sport. Expect to see little of him, though, unless something bad happens to either Tim Merlinson or Capoeirista.
IMPORTANT: This player should be always referred to as Dudabulatula since Wanakamahaga is a clan name (used to refer to the clan as a whole and not just to a single member).

DEF: Einar CARLSON 29 y/o, West Releinthi City Image (Abanhfleft)
There's nothing much to distinguish Einar from all the other right backs in the Fleftic sphere of influence, but when it comes to getting the job done, he gets the job done come what may. Einar also used to play for Athletic Haritzaga (not to be confused with Real Haritzaga, another Peninsular team playing int the Fleftic pyramid) before making the move to West Releinthi, and his three years of residency in the colony made Einar eligible to play for the Fhulghamousian national team when it was first established by Governor-General Petrarchos Kulbano.

DEF: Kay STEENSEN 22 y/o, Inter Norgrad Image (Endelos)
Kay showed up for a trial session for the Fhulghamousian national team one day just wanting to watch who would get to represent the colony to the rest of the multiverse when a football rolled towards him and he decided to play around with it and do a few dribbles, rabonas, and other such stunts. This attracted the attention of Governor-General Petrarchos Kulbano, who was busy assembling the team, and a Rosenpfelblatz City scout by the name of Matthew Cave, and Kay found himself in both teams that same afternoon. Unfortunately for Kay, skills could only take him so far on the pitch for Rosenpfelblatz, arguably one of the top teams in Abanhfleft, and he found himself going to Underfell in Anglatia alongside Abanhfleft under-21 starlet Jeanine Stober in exchange for making permanent the then-two-year loan of Under-15 World Cup bronze medalist Blaze Chrzanowska. But following anti-Fleftic sentiments in Valeria at the end of the Nordskanian War (due to Abanhfleft's non-interference with the Pridnestrovian invasion of Nordskania despite the Treaty of Politovskaya which is basically now just a fancy piece of paper), Kay is on the move once again, this time to Inter Norgrad in Endelos.

DEF: Sokratis TZORVAS 31 y/o, Riuwiee United Image (Abanhfleft)
Since the Fhulghamous Peninsula national football team was formed with the express intention of competing in the Di Bradini Cup (aka the Under-21 World Cup), Sokratis wasn't really in Governor-General Petrarchos Kulbano's radar when it came to recruiting players from the available pool. But when the Fhulghamous' bid for inclusion in the Di Bradini Cup met with failure, Governor Kulbano looked to local players from which to recruit players for the national team. Besides, Tzorvas had little if any links to the Fhulghamous except for the straw-grasping fact that people of Greek descent were representing the Fhulghamous. But now that Tzorvas' second cousin twice removed has become a colonial councilor alongside Rashidunnin Ali and Uriah Edison, Sokratis has been cleared to play for the Fhulghamous.

DEF: Aziz ZAMAN 25 y/o, Sarvusdalamoive Image (Abanhfleft)
Aziz used to be one of the hottest young defenders in Abanhfleft, and by hot I mean that he had world class potential in all those football video games people love to use to predict who will become rising stars and who will be destined to become flops. Unfortunately it appears as if Aziz is headed for the "flop" route as his time in Sarvusdalamoive has been limited even as other Fleftic Premier League clubs keep raiding the Pinks for their top talents now that they've put an end to their reputation as a yo-yo club. Still, because of a lack of defenders willing to represent the Fhulghamous (Evangelos Christodoulopoulos being a prime example), Aziz keeps his place in the side for now.

MID: Samson LOVEJOY 29 y/o, Keephall Vikings Image (Abanhfleft)
In the few appearances for the Fhulghamous that he made from the bench, Samson showed that he was a capable defensive midfielder with a capability to send in shots from beyond the box and it was for this reason that Keephall picked him up to bolster their team in their campaign to return to the Fleftic Premier League (a job which they still haven't achieved after almost ten years of playing in the Unang Liga, the second tier of Fleftic football).

MID: Ferdinand TAVISTOCK 27 y/o, Sporting Ceneisis Image (Abanhfleft)

MID: Brendan MEEKS 26 y/o, Arsenal de Releinthi Image (Abanhfleft)

FW: SALVATORE Pelucci 27 y/o, AFC Langtree Image (Mercedini)
Salvatore, Sebastiano Pelucci's twin brother, can play both as a central forward and as a winger, but he is truly most effective playing up front. He and Sebastiano used to be teammates in Riuwiee United before Salvatore was unexpectedly cut from the team by Georges Leblanc back when the Frenchman was still managing the Blue Tribesmen. Salvatore kept his footballing skills sharp by suiting up for amateur Fhulghamousian sides until Mercedini's AFC Langtree finally offered him a permanent contract to play for them. It looks like he likes being in Mercedini at the moment.
IMPORTANT: This player should be referred as Salvatore to differentiate him from his brother Sebastiano Pelucci.

HOME STADIUM (ARENA MARINOS, PORT THIMPODOPOULOS)
Image
Arena Marinos is the home ground of both FC Marinos Thimpodopoulos, which plays in Abanhfleft's Premier League (first level of the Fleftic football league system) and the Fhulghamous Peninsula national football team. It has a total capacity of 35,673 spectators. Now back in service after a magnitude 6.2 earthquake caused part of the stadium's roof to collapse and devastated the capital city of the colony, necessitating a lot of repairs.

RICHARD DAWKINS PARK, THEREISNOGODABAD
Image
Richard Dawkins Park has a capacity of 23,171 spectators. Following a magnitude 6.2 earthquake that devastated Port Thimpodopoulos, all Fhulghamous Peninsula home matches were held in RDP in Thereisnogodabad while repairs were being made on Arena Marinos. With Arena Marinos now fixed, both the Fhulghamous Peninsula Football Association and Thereisnogodistan FC have reached an agreement in which RDP will serve as an alternate venue for national team games in recognition for the time that Richard Dawkins Park served as the home stadium of the national team following the earthquake.

I wanted to add a match report about my penalty shootout loss to Nephara with this RP but I don't have time so just enjoy the story of exiles trying to play football in the DPRUSSP...
Exiles, Part One

The Tiraspol Kremlin
Tiraspol, Transnistrian Socialist State, Pridnestrovia

It was just another day in the office, or at least that was how the majority of the Pridnestrovian Politburo saw this meeting with the President of the Democratic People's Republic of the United Socialist States of Pridnestrovia when they sat down for this latest meeting of the nation's de facto governing body. The composition of the Politburo was still very much the same from before the nation's transition to democracy as the Pridnestrovian legislative bodies, the State Duma and the Congress of People's Deputies were represented here by the presence of Prime Minister Durag Kirilovich Nikovgorodiev of the Duma and President Raisa Innokentiyevna Fedorenko of the Congress of People's Deputies. In a sense, while much had changed within Pridnestrovia, little of that which mattered had changed in the end and that was just how the Politburo wanted it.

Field Marshal Stepan Stepanovich Stepanenko, President of the Democratic People's Republic of the United Socialist States of Pridnestrovia, arrived last of all to the Politburo, as was tradition, despite the Politburo meetings being held in the Tiraspol Kremlin, the official residence of the President of the Pridnestrovian Republic. Stepanenko sat down at the head of the table as was customary for the Politburo's meetings and he said to start off, "All right, comrades, what is the current situation of the world today? We are all still around so the world hasn't ended yet, which is a good thing, but what else could have happened while we were all asleep?"

"Your observations are correct, Comrade President," the Foreign Minister said, "at least up until this moment. Everyone is quiet as of now, whether they be our allies or our enemies. Everyone right now is focused on the World Cup qualifiers in which, sadly, our beloved nation was unable to participate after that close-fought contest against the Sultanate of Oontaz."

"Yes, I watched that match," Prime Minister Nikovgorodiev said. "That Godzilla fellow is such a beast; 33 years old and yet he's still very much the world-class forward that he is."

"On the geopolitical stage, comrades, how goes the world?" Stepanenko asked to steer the meeting away from the topic of sports, which was admittedly more interesting than anything else that the Politburo would have to discuss officially.

"The world is quiet in the geopolitical sense," the Foreign Minister said. "Like I said before, everyone is focused on the World Cup qualifiers so no one is doing anything bad, at least until their side is knocked out of the qualification race."

"How about our enemies? Have they taken advantage of the focus on the World Cup to make their own plans against us?" Stepanenko asked.

"Our enemies have no plots against us, Comrade President," Timofey Ilyich Andropov, Director of the Pridnestrovian Committee for State Security, replied. "And there is actually a bit of an interesting development, Comrade President, which I and the Comrade Major General of the GRU have come across while being briefed by our people."

"Yes, I do believe that I have noticed that," Stepanenko said. "Timofey Ilyich, Boris Faddeyevich, the two of you seem very happy today. I believe that that does not bode well for our enemies. What news do you bring to the Politburo today?"

"We have succeeded, Comrade President, for lack of a better term," Andropov reported. "We have emerged victorious in the end. We may have lost the war but in the end we, the supposed losers, are the only ones still left standing. All of the southern rebel states have long since collapsed into complete chaos and anarchy without the backing of their neighbors from the north and their imperialist puppet masters, and the northern rebels are themselves now slowly but surely dying and rotting from the branch from which they have hung themselves," he finished with a grin.

"The enemy themselves have also fallen into disarray," Major General Boris Faddeyevich Birsakov, the Director of the Military Intelligence Directorate of Pridnestrovia, added. "From the latest we have received from our agents and officers from within the enemy, they have shut themselves off from all forms of outside contact and will no longer deal with any outsiders or foreigners unless completely and absolutely necessary. This is while our nation and our domestic and foreign relations remain strong and we have found ourselves new allies in our continuing struggle against the enemy."

"Our allies are already drawing up plans for the occupation and the governance of the failed states, Comrade President," Andropov continued. "Yes, Comrade President, while on paper we have lost the shooting war and the war of the negotiating table, we, the Democratic People's Republic of the United Socialist States of Pridnestrovia, have emerged triumphant over our enemies in the end."

"Hear, hear," one of the junior members of the Politburo chimed in, and the rest of the Politburo repeated the cheer.

"Well, is this not what they have always wanted, anarchy?" the Foreign Minister asked rhetorically. "Now they have it, and they have no one else but themselves and their overlords to thank for the anarchy and chaos in which they now find themselves living. And because their overlords have shut themselves off from the rest of the world, they can no longer rely on those same overlords to help them deal with the consequences of their desires and actions. Maybe there really is such a thing as justice in this world after all."

"Comrades, I propose a toast," said Prime Minister Nikovgorodiev, standing up and raising his glass. "I propose a toast to Pridnestrovia and our allies. And while some might say that we are only drinking water at this very early hour, I say that a Pridnestrovians drinks what he wants. Hail Pridnestrovia!"

"Hail Pridnestrovia!" the rest of the Politburo chanted as the members raised their own glasses.

"Hail Pridnestrovia!" Stepanenko shouted. "Pridnestrovia above all else! Victory to all those who have earned it and death, misery, and hell to those who deserve it!" He downed his glass and then, once the toasting had subsided, he turned to Andropov and Birsakov and asked them, "What are my assurances that everything that is happening in our opponents' turf is as it is and not just a clever ploy by the enemy to lure our allies into a very clever trap of theirs?"

"The possibility of all this chaos being actually a clever trap by the enemy is actually high, Comrade President," Andropov admitted. "The enemy is, after all, highly creative and tenuous; any attempts to oust them from anyplace in which they have stuck the perfidious tentacles of their influence will be met with the utmost violence by themselves and their allies. But the Comrade Major General and I also have reason to believe that this is actually true; that the southern rebels have collapsed due to their own internal conflicts with each other and quite possibly the other rebel groups who were supposed to be their 'allies' in the eternal fight against our own supposedly pervading influence."

"But if our allies decide to move in to occupy the failed states, will they be met with resistance?" Stepanenko asked.

"Of course they will be, Comrade President," Major General Birsakov replied. "Of that there is no doubt. But there is also no doubt in our minds that our allies will be able to sweep away any opposition against them without much trouble, at least if the opposition originates from within the failed states. The only real unknown we have is the potential of the reaction of our enemy against our allies' moves into the failed states. But, based on the intelligence we have developed from within the enemy, the chances of their intervention range from 'unlikely' to 'they just don't care anymore'."

"Hardly the most reassuring words to hear, I have to admit," Stepanenko said, "but I have faith in your analytical abilities and the abilities of your brave men and women, Timofey Ilyich, Boris Faddeyevich. If, as you say, the enemy does not lift a finger against our allies, then victory will be even further within our grasp. But, if our enemy reacts against our allies' attempts to govern the failed states, then the war still continues."

In a way, Stepan Stepanovich Stepanenko was right about one thing, or actually two: if the enemy did nothing to stop Pridnestrovia's allies from occupying and governing the failed states then the war was well and truly over. But if the enemy reacted to Pridnestrovia's allies' attempts at occupation and governance then the war was well and truly still ongoing. And the number of exiles fleeing from the war zone to the safety of Pridnestrovia and other countries will only rise even further.

"But enough about our enemies," Stepanenko said. "Let us now turn our attention to our own nation. Has there been any developments on the national side of things?"

"Yes, Comrade President, actually, there has been," Admiral Vasily Grigoriyevich Domovich of the Pridnestrovian Navy replied. "We've just received word that one of our nuclear missile submarines, the K-312, has experienced troubles with one of its missiles and is now adrift somewhere in Atlantian Oceania..."

Leader: President Field Marshal Stepan Stepanovich Stepanenko

Reprezentacja Pruski w Pilka Nozna
Preußischen Fußball Nationalgemischtschaft

Prusy Krolewskie is back as a sub-national entity of the Union of Socialist Alpine Republics! Prusy Krolewskie, before joining the Alpine Union, was divided in 10 Wojewodztwa: Alzacja (Alsace), Isla Lubang, Malborskie, Mazurskie, Miedzyzdrojskie, Pomorskie, Warminskie, Wschodniomeklemburgia, Zachodniomeklemburgia and Zachodniopomorskie.

Today, Alzacja, Wschodniomeklemburgia and Zachodniomeklemburgia forms one republic whitin the USAR: Alsace-Mecklenburg. Isla Lubang is another republic whitin the Alpine Union and the rest of the former Wojewodztwa are another republic: Prussia East (Wschodnioprusy in local language). Prusy Krolewskie's players are players from these 3 republics: Alsace-Mecklenburg, Isla Lubang and Prussia East. Though Isla Lubang doesn't have many soccer players and none are good enough to make the team. And because the World Cup just ended and our players have to rest before the Cup of Harmony nd the Olympics are underway, Prusy Krolewskie's players are the best ones excluding those who are at the World Cup or the Olympics.

Togonistanian changing room, shortly after the match:

Togonistanian team was celebrating their victory. Team's captain Luca Faleta walked around the changing room and congratulated each and every one of his teammates with a personal handshake, Karol Niue talked with James Lantana about his wonderful score-opening goal and Fujima Sumiteru jumped around and demonstrated how he stopped the last-minute goal opportunity with his magnificent block. Everyone were truly happy. That was the moment when Jason Kaloros, Togonistanian head coach, entered the changing room.

''Well done boys, we showed them how we play this game in Togonistan,'' Kaloros said as everyone suddenly stopped whatever they were doing and looked at their coach.

''Yeah, these Prusy Krolewskie guys had no chance against us,'' Faleta replied. His words were followed by a huge amount of cheering.

Kaloros looked at his team seriously. ''Look guys,'' he started talking, ''this might have seemed easy, but we are not done here yet. This victory was just a start. Yes, we won today, good job guys, but we have more matches to play. We are in one group with nations such as Free Republics and New Sirain. Trust me guys, this is not going to be easy. So, go ahead, celebrate your victory today, but be ready to see me tomorrow at 8am. We have some training to do.'' With those word said, Kaloros turned around and left the changing room, while the team took a moment to think about his words.

''You know what,'' Niue started speaking, ''he's right. This is just the beginning. We can't let our guard down.''

''Indeed,'' Faleta replied while looking at everyone, ''so you all heard the coach. Let's go and hit the showers now and go to some local bar for a drink or two, but remember. Tomorrow at 8am local time, training session. Be there or be square.''

Everyone stood up and went to shower, after which they left the stadium to go and celebrate their victory.
