NS World Cup 51 Signups (Closed)

Based upon my actions last week and after thinking it over for the last 18+ hours since I apologized; i have come to a decision.

Qazox will not participate in World Cup 51 nor will they participate in World Cup 52.

Qazox' puppet South Polik also withdraws from both the Baptism of Fire and World Cup 51.

After a hiatus of erm... a long time, Dennisov hereby requests to take part in the Nationstates World Cup.
Please let us know whether we have to play the Baptism of Fire first.

You don't have to, but it is recommended for 'new' nations with no rank. I'm guessing that you've never participated in the BoF, as there were only three or four up until WC17:

Thank you. I know I have played, RP-ed and somehow won the cup. I have not kept up with the World Cup for quite some time. I leave it up to the organisers and World Cup committee to determine if Dennisov should first play in the BoF before allowed entry in the main tournament.
Indeed we have never taken part in the BoF as we took part from the beginning, although perhaps not in WC 1.

Prepare to witness 6-3-1.... the ultimate counter-atttacking formation (it's how we can pack in more of the big lads at the back)

With 141 nations currently signed up, I thought i'd best post a quick set of limits from our only hosting bid so far.

142 nations is the next workable number, and beyond that 152. So, the next nation to enter the Cup will be the last one guaranteed to enter the Qualifiers and, beyond that, nations will be put on a waiting list in case of ceased nations, withdrawals, or if ten more sign-up.

Dennisov, as far as I'm concerned you're eligible to the BoF, therefore I'm adding you to the signup list.

That puts the signup list at 38, and I have sent out TGs to all eligible nations that have not signed up. Therefore, it should be noted that except for those nations, any further BoF signups are provisional on achieving a good final number of entrants.
