I am liking the added variety that is coming out of NS Sports. I have never been into Football which is the most popular. So its good that sports like Water Polo and Archery have popped up.

Nothing wrong to be small to start off with, Rome wasn't built in a day. And with the Olympics around the corner, hopefully it will vett some interest. Would be good to have some year round sports instead of waiting for the Olympics. People just need to stick it out.

And Water Polo is a great way to get your foot in the door for new rp also. Being new its not dominated by old timers who have cemented the top ranks spots due to regular participation. Its anyone's game with some good roleplays at just a small commitment of a few minutes a day.

Hello -
With the second WPIC almost done, I'd like to announce the Baptism of Water (yes, BOW) will be held three months from now-ish, sign-ups will open October to be held in (late) November while the WPIC will be held in December.
Secondly, the end WPIC 2 begins my third and finally cycle in office unless I seek re-election, I'd like to announce I'll stick with my current Vice President, Aclion, however, I will be making moves to grow the IWPF and the WPIC over the next few months leading up. An international domestic water-polo league thread may be launched in the coming months, however, these are simply speculations.
Finally, if you're interested in running for president of the IWPF (the elections will be held at the time of sign-ups for WPIC 3, the President-elect will take office at the end of WPIC 3), fill out the application:

Making of "IWPF Champions League", based on UEFA Champions League, but with water-polo teams instead of football/ soccer teams.

Minor changes to the Dispatches, mostly just adding the [nation]-code in it.
Let the national WP- organizations voice their matters in cases.

IC Achievements in NS: Sportcchivemetns are recorded here (not all are added in, but I will add them as soon as possible). Non-Sports Achievements includes two third place in World Hit Festival (song contest) and a win in JWHF (also a song contest).

EDIT 1 - Expect rankings updated tomorrow or sometime in October. Wide timeframe because I'm going to Panama City Beach and updating ranks isn't exactly top priority/

Why you want to be President: To grow water polo into one of the most well-recognised sports on ns, to continue the development of events outside of the world cup.
Plans for your term:

Create a water polo championship for leading teams of nations.
To promote sponsorship by international businesses of water polo teams.
To increase the profile of water polo by creating junior and developmental competitions
To encourage regions to set up their own water polo competitions, in order to familiarise more people with the game.

A host bid for both the WPIC and BoW.

For the record, I still question the necessity of a "Baptism"-type event for this tournament since the participant pool is so small and we found that the Baptism of Iron was basically a waste of time in the World Bowl, which is still a much larger and more established event than this one.
