The Electrum Slam - The friendly slam
The Electrum Slam will be the third grand slam event of this year, and the fourth yearly edition for the Association of Tennis Professionals. As always, there will be two tournaments in this hard court grand slam, the doubles event (single gender or mixed gender is fine, as long as one player is not in two different teams) and the singles event. They will respectively have 64 pairs and 128 players in the main competition. The qualification format will be single elimination. The tentative starting time is 10th July (Australian time). The tournament is held in Centralis, at the Electrum Tennis Centre.
Rankings will be directly assigned from the Association of Tennis Professionals Ranking (logarithmic scale) and will be scorinated with xkoranate. RP Bonuses are cumulative and directly added onto rank. It will be graded on a fluid scale of 0-5 then multiplied by a secret number. Note that as usual, scorination revolves around the 3Rs, Rank (based on previous tournaments), Roleplay (To do well, you will need to write more than a few sentences and to roleplay as frequently as you can) and Randomness (xkoranate's random number generator).
Puppets must be declared (maximum of 2 nations per person). New nations may join. You do not have to fill out the whole list. Discretionary wild cards may be awarded potentially to the player with the "1." spot for new nations/nations with no players in the main draw, so make sure to put the person you want to see with a wildcard listed first on your sign up.
