Ethane has typically been a democratic, left-leaning liberal state. However, in recent elections, the rise of the right has been observed in the Christian Conservative Party and now the anti-establishment MoralEthane! party in the current controversial election. The previous government was led by the Union of Socialists in coalition with the anti-establishment left-wing GreenerEthane! party, which has heavily focused on improving the environment of the nation, returning it to its pristine natural state, making it a beautiful place to visit for tourists. The nation has a strong pacifistic tendency, even with a large military, and puts a lot of funds into public education.

Ethane has a population of just over 15 million. It is known for its technological sector, which drives forward innovation in the country and around the world, especially in green energy and computing. However, many other sectors, such as the book publishing sector, are strengthening. Ethane is a beautiful country, full of amazing landscapes and far-reaching city skylines. From the mountains and lakes of the Isle of Lowe to the farmlands of Tyrielie, with the large cities dotted around the country, the nation has a diverse range of landscapes and natural beauty to witness. Ethane also has a very variable climate, with stark differences between days. One day, it can be really warm and sunny, the perfect day to go to the beach, and the next day a storm is rolling up the coast from McKleigh, making for interesting weather dynamics in the nation, with the mountains of Whiltshire and Lowes receiving snow half the year. The nation is well known for many things, including its multiple sporting appearances in the likes of the World Baseball Classic, and the World Cup, and its performances in the Worldvision Song Contest and the World Hit Festival.

The user behind Ethane is no stranger to hosting large events either. The nation started off its hosting career through holding the first Gaelic Football World Championships in Ethane. The nation has also been host to the Aurorealis Football League, 11th World Junior Hockey Championships, the Handball World Cup XVI, two tennis tournaments for the NSTT (one as a stand-in) and the most recent Campionato Esportiva. However, the most prestigious events Ethane has hosted so far are World Bowl and the International Basketball Championship. Naturally, not all these events ran perfectly, with logistical errors and errors of judgement in a few cases, but the mistakes have been deeply learnt from and will not be repeated. Ethane has also hosted the 69th Cup of Harmony as a 'junior host' to Cosumar. While the user behind Ethane may not be the most experienced member of the board, he has established himself in the forum and displayed his hosting capabilities through the many events he has hosted. Furthermore, the user behind this nation has shown his ability to handle a position of responsibility as Vice President of the International Basketball Organization.

The Second Brazilian Empire is a massive coastal nation with 40 states spread through Africa, Europe, and South America, inhabited by 342 million of people from different civilizations, with a huge diversity of animals and environments, including equatorial forests, deserts, tundra, and savanna; ice, rain, and sand, all united under one banner, one anthem. Portuguese is the official language and one of the 5 national languages, along with Spanish, Arabic, Danish, and Greenlandic. Rio de Janeiro is the capital, a tropical beach and the second biggest city in the country. The United Kingdom of the Second Brazilian Empire - which trigram is SBE - is relatively new to the international scenario of the multiverse and the first soccer tournament of the nation was catastrophic, just like the second attempt; respectively, the Global Cup of Soccer 2 and the Campionato Esportiva 19. Brazilian clubs already took part in the three UICA competitions and in the Cygnus Cup - the Cup Winners' Cup - but they were worse than the national team. However, national clubs were proven to be very successful in the MultiNation Cup, a championship held among the best teams of the eight countries members of the Multiversal Non-aggression Pact - the MNAP.

The Country doesn't have a national pyramid for beach soccer yet the sport is extremely popular within our borders. In the famous Copacabana Beach, located in Rio de Janeiro, there's a purpose-built stadium with a total capacity of 5,000, one of the biggest permanent beach soccer stadiums ever constructed. Don't worry about crime: the Second Brazilian Empire has the 7th biggest employment rates of Esportiva and it's one of the most inclusive nations in the multiverse, despite its giant income inequality rate. Youth rebelliousness is also one of the lowest in Esportiva, scoring -8 in the Stark-Dean Displacement Index. Important industries include tourism, communication technology, gambling, and mining. In your free time, you can visit the National Library, the Monarchic Casino, the Summer Palace, the "Pão de Açúcar", the biggest association football stadium in the country - "O Equatoriano" - and, the most remarkable of all, the Royal Palace, where the Emperor is always open for a civilized conversation.

I joined NationStates in August 2015, but my first post in the forums was only in October of the same year. In January 2016 I took a three months break from NS. I rejoined the game in April 2016 - and one of the first things I did was create the courage to took part in an NS Sports competition, the U-15 World Cup. Time flew by and I created three new puppets in December 2016 as part of my plans to create one of the most immersive worldbuilding projects ever seen in this forum - that's where I started my current journey. Now I manage more than 20 different competitions in my newswire, ranging from soccer to cricket, from volleyball to auto racing. I started using Xkoranate 0.3.3 and NSFS3 in April 2016, the same period when I joined my first "real" challenge in these forums, being knocked out in the quarter-finals.
