Stacramon's Empire is tired of keeping our wonderful sports program contained inside of its own borders! As such, I and my Parliament have decided to organize a basketball league for the entire world. Any nation can join, no matter classification! Stacramon will be the official first entry into the league. Stacramon's National Basketball Team will be entered into this league. Operations will be posted via various internet threads and news sources as soon as possible. Long live the Stacramite Empire!

NATIONSTATES STACRAMITE BASKETBALL LEAGUE (NSSBL)
The NationStates Stacramite Basketball League has been officially established by Emperor Quincy Nuvoe, and as such we must explain how the league will operate. Without further ado, let's get to it!

TEAMS AND DIVISONS
The NationStates Stacramite Basketball League will be composed of twenty teams, and the first season will not start until that amount is reached. Luckily, the Stacramite Imperial Colonies of Balianica, Brezlesheek, and Libernita, along with Stacramon itself, have all released official statements stating that they would join, so that knocks it down to sixteen teams.

All teams will be split up into four divisions with five teams each. All four nations in the Stacramite Empire have volunteered to each be in a separate divison. The divisions are:

REGULAR SEASON
The NSSBL regular season will consist of thirteen games for each team. One individual team will play every team in their division twice each, plus playing every team from a different division once apiece. The divisions that will play each other in the regular season are Blue vs. Violet and Red vs. Orange.

PLAYOFFS
After the regular season ends, the top two teams from each division will advance to the playoff bracket. The bracket will look like this, but it will likely look a lot less ugly:
