Kyrgyz Kaganate Football League


Kyrgyz Kaganate Football League is a league competition featuring professional football clubs from Kyrgyz Kaganate. It was founded in 1936 with just 12 clubs. Now the league has 92 clubs divided into 4 divisions:
  • Premier League (20 clubs)
  • League One (22 clubs)
  • League Two (24 clubs)
  • National League (26 clubs)
According to the results of each season there are movements of teams: the best clubs are promoted to divisions level higher, and the worst clubs are relegated in the lower divisions. In addition, the two worst clubs of the National League are relegated to the Football Conference. The best club in Premier league is declared as champion of Kyrgyz Kaganate and two clubs after champion are silver and bronze medalists. The season format is autumn-spring and transfer window is opened from June 1 to August 31 and from January 1 to February 7.

Kyrgyz Premier League

Kyrgyz Premier League (KPL) is the highest division of Kyrgyz Football League. 20 clubs compete in KPL each season and the best club gets champion title and the lower clubs are relegated to League One. Season starts every year on August 7 and ends on May 31. It was founded in 1936 as Kyrgyz Football League and renamed in 1948 became Kyrgyz Premier League.
The top four clubs are qualified to the Champions Cup.
The current champions is Dordoy Dinamo. Alga Bishkek is the most titled club with 37 titles.

Competition format

There are 20 clubs in the KPL. During the course of a season each club plays the others twice, once at their home stadium and once at that of their opponents, for a total of 38 games. Teams receive three points for a win and one point for a draw. No points are awarded for a loss. Teams are ranked by total points, then goal difference, and then goals scored. If still equal, teams play-off match. The three lowest placed teams are relegated into the League One and the top three teams from League One are promoted to their place. Also, the top four clubs are qualified to the Champions Cup.

KPL: Season 2055-56. Summer transfer window.


This transfer window was very active. KPL teams spent 1.2 billion soms on transfers and Alga Bishkek, Bishkek United, Dordoy Dinamo spent about 500 millions. Bishkek United spent 205 millions in order to build strong team. Alga Bishkek spent 170 millions and Dordoy Dinamo spent 140 millions.
So, here is the most expensive transfers:
  1. Niclas Renhau (age 24, forward). From Manchester City to Bishkek United. 120,000,000.
  2. Bogdan Barabash (age 22, central midlefielder). From Spartak Moscow to Alga Bishkek. 95,000,000
  3. Daniil Ovcharov (age 19, left attacking midlefielder). From CSKA Moscow to Dordoy Dinamo. 80,000,000
  4. Nikita Eryashev (age 21, forward). From Zenit to Alga Bishkek. 70,000,000

KPL: Season 2055-56


So. Here you can see fixtures and here you can see final table of 2055-56 season.

Player of the season: Nikita Eryashov (forward, Alga Bishkek, age 22). He scored 32 goals, gave 21 assist and got average rating 9,4 in 34 games.

Young player of the season: Artur Merzlyakov (central midlefielder, Alga Bishkek, age 18). He scored 9 goals, gave 30 assists and got average rating 8,9 in 30 games.

Manager of the year: Amiran Georgadze (Alga Bishkek).

Manas, Bars FC and Tobol were relegated and will be replaced by Kara-Balta, Vakhsh and Bundyokor.
