Silverstar defend their title, with new team manager Kevin Randolph looking to deliver further greatness to this team. Car development in this off-season has focused upon reliability, although this has been at the expense of aerodynamics to an extent.

This is how we sign up:
Team: Silverstar Airways Team KPL (7-6-7)
Team manager/principal: Kevin Randolph
Driver 1: Nick Wagoner (Bonus to C)
Driver 1 description (optional): A smooth-cornering driver who thrives with a good car, a bit like Jenson Button. Third in the championship last season.
Driver 2: Stephen Raynor (Bonus to R)
Driver 2 description (optional): Not the most aggressive driver, but his mechanical sympathy means he nearly always gets his car around. That combined with the strength of last year's car took him to fourth in the championship, just a point behind Wagoner.
Test/reserve driver (optional): Iain Pitt-Wright

TRACKS
Track 1: Lennonhill Racetrack
Circuit distance: 4.826km (GP is 64 laps)
Fastest lap: 1:21.093
Track map:

Stupid WGPC, letting me make complete new tracks... Bah...

Err... Here's another track. The Ashdom City Oval, which has been extended to a F1 racing track. Including name change.
Aaanyway, here's the new track.

Ashdom City Circuit
Length: 3.901 km (seewhatIdidthere?)
Lap record: 1:31.093 (Test drive by Xabier Overtoon, there should be space for improvement) (also, seewhatIdidthere?)

LE, I edited the info of the Landau Institute circuit to match the minimal requirements (edited length and average lap times). (IC reason:) The track is the same, they just made the major straight line longer on both sides, adapting the nearest curves to it.

Confirmed sponsors for WGPC8:
Haargad Motor Company (Starblaydi - Engine supplier)
Orcinus (Starblaydi - Alcoholic beverages)
ediraf (Starblaydi - Sportswear)
Viella (Vanorian - Electronics)

If anyone else has a company (with a logo, please) that would like to have it fitted somewhere on this car, let me know. Engine cover and purple section on the side of the cockpit are available, but won't be seen particularly well from this angle. Plus there's some space on the exhaust cover/aerodynamic section, but that might be slightly obscured too. Basically I've chosen all the easy places to put the first few sponsors, and now need to fill it out with companies/logos that I haven't invented myself, hehe.

Of course, prospecting companies should know that Mirrors may be great on the track, but they may well equally suck in their first season of F1 (assuming LE lets me in, lol).

The RP I'll post when this kicks off will include a larger image (that meets the NS Image boundaries) to see everything better, but this one is just for demonstration.

Starblaydia, how did you make this great model? Some sort of 3d modelling?
I'm currently working on my desing in gimp, but I'm not a great artist, so it won't look especially good.

It's just been fairly heavily Photoshopped from this original file (1600x1200 jpg). I find that to be far easier than actually having to make my own from scratch!

A Google image search for whatever car livery you like followed by playing with Hue & Saturation = easiest. Or search for the Honda RA108, as if you hunt around there are a lot of pictures of that in a blank (i.e. pure white) livery, for you to doodle whatever you like onto it.
