Hello, after receiving interest on possibly creating a hockey version fo NSCF, I have officially opened sign ups for NSCYH, NS Colleye and Youth Hockey. Essentially, NSCYH is a collegiate-youth level league for your colleges/youth teams/academies to compete in for bragginr rights in lifting [ cup to be named ]. As this is primarily for hockey-loving nations, I encourage hockey-loving nations and all others to participate for bragging rights. The idea is to allow all people, even newcomers to NS Sports to have fun while engaging in competition on the college level. ICly, this is an excellent way to prepare your nation's hockey progidees for the WcoH and the WJHC alike.
RP grading is generous to allow all players to compete, the NSCYH heavily encourages RP. We hope to see you for Opening Puck Drop!

Conferences & Scheduling
Teams will be evenly split into two conferences by the names of Star and Dream respectively. I, Kep [ Kebec IC ] shall scorinate the Star Conference while I shall find an experienced scorinator to scorinate that of the Dream Conference. Once signups officially close, the Dream Conference host shall be finalized and a scehdule pertaining to scorination will be available to the public. Following this, all information concerning schedules and conferences shall be available on the IC thread. The format of NSCYH calls for a 36 game schedule. It will allow for a maximum of two games played versus one opponent, one at home and one on the road. The final 1/3rd of the season will be all cross-conference play.
Postseason
The playoffs shall consist of 6 teams depending on the teams in the conferences. The playoffs shall be evenly split, 3 per conference. As per normal scorination and rl-techniques, the NSCYH playoffs shall be a seeded single-elimination bracket. The top seed from each conference will get a bye-week and automatically progress to the Conference Finals as the first game shall act as a wild-card/semi-finals game. There shall be a third-place consolation prize for the two teams falling in the semi-finals. Higher seeds shall retain home field advantage throughout the postseason except for the finals. The postseason shall be a best-of-5 series. The finals shall be played on neutral grounds in a best-of-7 series played at the arena that wins hosting rights to the NSCYH Championship Series.
NSCYH Championship Series
The NSCYH Championship Series will feature the champion from both the Star and Dream Conferences' battling it out in neutral territory. The NSYCH Championship Series is a best-of-seven as opposed to NSYCH's postseason being a best-of-five. Those wishing to bid to have their arena host the NSCYH Championship Series should establish a bid book giving detailed IC info on the arena, nation and give OOC info on scorination history and experience.
Signup Limits
Nations are to have a minimum of one (1) college/youth/academy team and a maximum of three (3) teams. NSCYH recommends one or two to allow for RP-flow. Experienced rpers are allowed to undertake 3, however, it is no recommended.
Scorination
Scorination shall be Xkoranate's xkoranate-style of Ice Hockey which includes modifiers. Games will either be scorinated 3 or 4 times weekly depending on the number of signups. Included, RP bonus shall be degraded 10% every week to encourage consistent rping.

Teams can nominate up to five nominees for the following awards:
- Most Valuable Player
- Offensive Player of the Year
- Defensive Player of the Year
- Goalie of the Year
- Coach of the Year
