In real life, i'm a amateur softball player... so, i decided to bring one of my favorite sports to NS, so i present:

THE FIRST EDITION OF THE

A softball tournament where everybody can participate, just post a comment saying that you're in and AVADA KEDABRA! you'll be added to the Participants list.

RP Info: Platerdam is a nation with 81.000.000 habitants, a Leftist-Democratic Presidential Republic holded by the current president: Gary M. Soto. Known by their beutiful mountains, quiet towns, big metropolis and beautiful beaches, Platerdam is the most visited nation in the Democratic Islands.

Host Experience: If Platerdam hosted the USC, it will be our first hosting experience in NS Sports.

Format: I use Xkorante 0.33, with NSFS3 formula.

IC Info

The 'pality is a young, yet prosperous nation, located in (soon to be) the Atlantian Oceanian continent of Azeruia. The nation is full of sports fanatics, who will literally compete in any sport possible. The self-declared "principality" is ruled evenly by Prince Franz-Pierre and PM Rees Häther, whom primarily just take care of major problems within the nation. The capital, Turkish Van City (prominently known as T.V. City), also acts as the country's largest city, with other big cities in the nation including Qad City, Port Harston, Taxson and East Qasden.

OOC Info & RP Experience

Originally joining NationStates in December of 2014, Qasden's user created the Principality to interact with the forums, while his main nation stays in a region that rarely interacts with the forum. Since the blue and red plopped into NS Sports, Qasden has participated in many events, small and large. Notable performances by Qasden athletes, as of now, include a quarter finalist in the 3rd Electrum Slam (Tennis) and a currently successful campaign in the 21st IBC, hosted in RK Quebec and Drawkland. Qasden had also hosted two tournaments within the last month: an unpopular archery tournament known as the Qasden Open (links in signature) and a revived Canadian football tournament, the 5th Maple Leaf Bowl (co-hosting with Kep;currently ongoing). The nation had also started the NationStates Archery Open (NSAO BETA) and, of course, the discontinued Qasden Open.

Format

I plan on using xkorinate .33, with NSFS3 formula. If elected I will let the forums know what I will do for drawing the groups. Since we currently have 4 nations interested, I'll just show the scenarios-

4 nations- 1 group; triple RR; top 2 advance
6 nations- 2 groups of 3; triple RR; top 2 advance
8 nations- 2 groups of 4; triple RR; top 2 advance
10 nations- 2 groups of 5; double RR; top 4 advance
12 nations- 3 groups of 4; double RR; top 2 advance + top 2 3rd place nations
14 nations- 2 groups of 7; double RR; top 4 advance
16 nations- 4 groups of 4; double RR; top 2 advance

*Qad games will be scorinated by another nation.
Should there be more than 16 nations, the used format would be created at a later date.

RP Bonuses

Though I can't show my exact grading scale, I will tell that bonuses will be generous.

Epic All-Star Game

Should I be selected to host, I would like to create an all-star game between the top athletes of USC nations and moi. All-stars will be selected through RPs, meaning if you don't RP, you're probably not gonna have a player in the post-final match.

*Due to my involvement in MLB V and the fact my upcoming bid for the Galeic Football Championships is much bigger than this, if my nation wins rights to host, the stadiums/stadia will be vastly smaller than top-game stadiums. The largest stadium would be a whopping 18.000 people.
