WGPC10 Challenge Feeder Series RP/scores thread

Postby Liventia » Sat Feb 20, 2010 7:55 pm

So as to keep the WGPC scores and RP thread clear so I can more easily tabulate RP bonus for those in the main series, this will be the catch-all thread for the Challenge Feeder Series featuring the teams which applied but did not make the final cut.

As it stands, the teams are as follows:
Team Kulverint (KUL)
#40 Janni £la
#41 Cüla Man@na

Team Gorham (KLS)
#42 Holly Alorgoia
#43 Johnathan Wheeler

Team Onsuit (TOI)
#44 Mivan Luiquenko
#45 Voternes Adrico

Duorno Vio F1 (WAR)
#46 Ludwig Leviossa
#47 Hariuoyn Von Sarno

Mogck GP (MOG)
#48 Andre Rakov
#49 Markus Drion Jr.

Poplarkerr Motor Sports (LOO)
#50 Jürgen Katôra
#51 Emmanuel Arrîch

QuantaLith Racing (LTH)
#52 Alexandr Reiss
#53 Vladimir Borislav

The calendar will follow the WGPC 10 main series calendar.

RULES
There are no qualifying sessions. Cars will start on the grid in reverse order of their finishing position in the last race (i.e., a car winning race #1 will start last in race #2).

Points will be awarded to the three podium finishers, 3–2–1. This makes going for the podium very important.

Race distance: All races will be run to a minimum of 61 km.

There will be no mandatory pit stops for the feeder series, although pit stops can be made if necessary.

Ludwig Leviossa trys out the new car at Carl GP

Duorno Vio F1 has been accepted into the NSWGP 2nd Feeder Competition.Ludwig Leviossa is the 1st driver, Hariuyon Von Sarno 2nd Driver and the Test Driver is Vliad Mos. Ludwig Leviossa is very pleased and says we should be honoured, as many teams try to get in. Hariyuon Von Sarno agrees with Ludwig, they both tried out the new car at Carl GP,and many people came to watch. Ludwig nearly broke his previous record but Hariyuon got his personal best. Vliad Mos was also chosen to test out the great car this season.

Duorno Vio F1 found a sponsor in Rivera Motors (Hence the founder of Rivera was called Rivera Vio, Duorno means 'Pure'), they purchased %50 of the team, while they were also sponsored by Feilpo Trains who bought %25 of the team. And SportPerformancePro has also bought %25 of the team.

Next week we will interview the drivers, so get next weeks issue and be in the GLUG!

Kulverint Compete in Grand Prix World Championship Feeder Series!

Image
Janni £la in the new car.

Though Kulverint have failed to get into the Grand Prix world championship, they have made it into the feeder series, raising some hopes that they could get in next year.

Janni £la is looking forward to the opportunity to take part in this inaugural feeder series, and says that winning is the aim of this team, as does team mate, Cüla Man@na.

Though Cüla has yet to drive the car, he says that Janni's testing times suggest that Kulverint could be very quick in the new series. Janni has yet to comment. The team is a government owned team, with no sponsors except the Kulverintian Tourist board. The message "Visit Kulverint" with the Kulverintian flag on the rear wing is the symbol that this is a truly Kulverintian team.

Entry Into WGPC 10 Feeder Series Accepted

The Lithatrian team were today delighted to be accepted into the WGPC 10 Feeder Series with QuantaLith Racing, containing drivers Alexandr Reiss and Vladimir Borislav. With the new car developed specifically for this series, the two drivers expect great things from the QL1000.

Interview:

Interviewer: Congratulations on being accepted into the competition. How do you expect the season to go?

AR: We don't see any reason that we can't push for the win. Like us, many teams here are new, and as long as we push it in every race, there is no reason we can't do well.

VB: I agree. The car has been excellent in practice sessions, the team work in perfect harmony, and I have a great feeling about the season to come.

Interviewer: And what feels so good about the car at the moment?

AR: I can't put it down to anything particular. I think that the combination of expert mechanics and a very good team of engineers makes the car feel like it's just gliding across water.

VB: Yes, it feels very smooth. The suspension is perfect, not too tight, not too loose, so you can feel the bumps in the road, but it's easy to shrug them off. The car has great acceleration and good aerodynamics, I think that it will be very fast in the races to come. We've been setting some very fast times on the Tharmenstein Circuit, pushing towards lap records, and I think that we can do very well in the season to come.

Interviewer: And what's the relationship like between the two of you?

VB: Alexandr is a great guy to race with. He's calm, patient, ambitious, and easy to work with. We share many of the same goals in the season, and it'll be excellent both racing with and against him for the season.

AR: Vladimir is a nice guy. All the way through, he's been trying his best to contribute to the team, staying late after practice sessions have ended, doing yet more laps and computer work to try and get the car to it's optimum level, and he's a great guy. Very ambitious, it'll be interesting to see how the season pans out between the two of us.

Interviewer: Okay, that's all we have time for. This has been Alexandr Reiss and Vladimir Borislav of QuantaLith Racing, talking to me, Filip Seodor of LFSTV, signing out for the new season.

Cüla Man@na grabs podium for team Kulverint!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xzmgtpXUSYc

Kulverint had a rather disappointing race in the Liventian Grand Prix, as they threw away an all front row start and ended up with Janni £la in 7th. However Cüla Man@na produced a surprise to finish on the the podium!

After a good start, team Kulverint quickly began to fall back, and this was hampered when Janni £la had a big off at the chicane. Although at first Cüla Man@na was overtaken by two competitors, but he soon composed himself and pushed all the way for a podium!

QuantaLith Racing are today looking forward to great success in the WGPC10 Feeder Series Championships after securing first and second place in Liventia. Vladimir Borislav finished in 17 minutes, 18 seconds, with Alexander Reiss just under 3 seconds behind. This led to the Lithatriskiye national anthem blaring out at the podium in Liventia. This put Borislav first in the Driver's table with 3 points, and Reiss seconds with 2 points, putting QuantaLith Racing top with 5 points, the closest challengers so far being Team Kulverint and Cüla Man@na with just 1 point each. We now transfer live to the Post-Race Conference:

Interviewer: Well congratulations lads. Tell me, how did you find the race?

VB: It was excellent. The car performed perfectly, the weather was fine and I couldn't have asked for a better race. The track felt very smooth, and we get grip very quickly, setting very good times in the race.

AR: I agree. The car just felt that whole other level. It would have been nice to get the 3 points myself, but seeing as both first and second are coming home to Lithatrius, I can't complain.

Interviewer: How did you find the competition from each other?

AR: It was great. By constantly having to challenge someone that's grown to be a close friend of mine, it pushed me to another level, it gave me a great deal of inspiration.

VB: Yes, by constantly seeing another QL1000 in my wing mirror, it made me try harder.

Interviewer: And what are you thinking about the next race?

AR: It'll be good. Unfortunately, the only problem is I'll be starting in second last and Vladimir will be last, so we'll have to try very hard, but I see no reason that we can't push for the podium again.

Interviewer: Okay, thank you very much.

Interview with Poplarkerr Motorsports drivers

Postby Loonaterian » Tue Mar 02, 2010 11:39 am

Interviewer: A disappointing first race for Poplarkerrr.

Jürgen Katôra: Indeed. Of course I had that huge spin at turn 11 which really meant I couldn't get any points.

Emmanuel Arrîch: And there was a problem in my pit stop which meant the team weren't going to pick up any points, but I am quite pleased with my overtake of Ludwig Leviossa in turn 8.

Interviewer: Yes, that was excellent driving. Are you looking forward to the next race?

Jürgen Katôra: Yeah, we are.

Emmanuel Arrîch: Let's hope the team and the car work perfectly in sync next race.

Interviewer: Thank you.

Speedway Glug

At the qualifing in Talbott,Livetenia, Ludwig Leviossa managed to get a 10th place qualifing , due to tire problems. However teammate Hariuoyn Von Sarno did extremely well and earned 4th place in the qualifing. Ludwig Leviossa beleives that Hariuoyn will win this GP and come home with some sponsorship deals. "It's all about the money." Says Assistant Manger Neil Deanson, who believes that sponsorship is the only way to succed. Former touring car legend Cat Freeyuin says "Thats bullplop, racing is about the racing. Not how much money you can fit in your pocket."

It is a waste of my time for me to be doing this only to be met by "RPs" that are simply links to youtube videos. This is the one and only warning - any further "RPs" filled with links to off-site videos will be penalised. There is simply no return for me as a host if all I'll get is this. Lithatrius' posts are an example of what I'm looking for; if you can't write to that standard you don't have to, but don't give me a post of links or your RP bonus will take a hit.

One link, maybe two at a stretch, is fine. A whole RP purely consisting of little text and many links isn't.
