An inspiring performance from Kamu Jacobs to tie up the series heading to Taeshan, but Anomalies have a long road ahead of them.
Cup Winners' Cup

Metropolis Alligators (VLD) 3-2 Eyrods (CMT)
Metropolis Alligators is a huge opponent for Eyrods, but they hang on - Tetrault doing the scoring for now. Can they make something happen in the return leg?

Anomalies 0-1 Eyrods (0-2 AET), Eyrods wins 2-1 in aggregate after extra time (1-0)
Ming 0-0 Anfanhar City, Anfanhar City wins 4-1 in aggregate
Wow. Just wow. Scenes in The Tidal Wave as Rowena Ellis stops the Tide in every turn - she won't be remaining in Hanai for very long - and Hanai shock the nation. It isn't the only shocking result, as Lorentine, under new Manager Curtis Martineau, hold Myana to a draw to see them through; Eyrods also absolutely stymies AFC to advance, and Ming just can't get anything past Orange League bottom dwellers Anfanhar City. This leaves the following teams in the competition:
Hanai (Yellow)
Knetyohai (Orange)
Lorentine (Orange)
Qet (Yellow)
Miners FC (Red)
Deprí Sanar (Red)
Eyrods (Red)
Anfanhar City (Orange)
The fact that the only three teams left from the Red League are these three teams is extraordinary.

Week 28
Liga B Champion’s Trophy
Round of Sixteen, First Leg
Deprí Sanar (CMT) 2-2 New Island (SCT)
Ramonita Kendrick's side prove to be difficult, and Deprí Sanar is lucky to hold on for a home draw.
Atlantian Oceania Champions' League
Second Round, First Leg
Anomalies (CMT) 1-0 Ashbury Park FC (CBP)
It's Lainey Wadsworth vs. Terrence Stephens as two players that play for Baker Park go at it. Lainey gets the better of Terrence for the lone goal, and Anomalies sport a narrow edge.
Vilitan Cove Invitational
Second Round, First Leg
AC Mariina (MRN) 2-2 Alnio (CMT)
Though the Brewers have been struggling domestically... Croxier is able to secure the brace on the road.
Eyrods actually win a game outright over Chromatik, Tetreault's header being the key difference; they'll need far more of those to remain in the Red League. The only bigger result for the day is that of the Crusaders handing Tihon their third defeat of the season - orchestrated by two more of Crossroads's quality midfielders - Kazuo Martin and Rachel Milhaud. If Rachel Milhaud is your worst midfielder, is that really a problem?
Anomalies's utter destruction of Ming makes it a total of 11-1 for the series - a ridiculous scoreline by all means. Felswyr climbs with another solid outing for Bugarin, who's having a way better year, while Urrheddiao makes the most out of their second outing versus Miners FC - Kalashnikov scoring his eighth goal of the season.
In other results, Lhor salvage a point via Feltzer's volley in the second half, Anchors squeeze a goal past the Brewers to Alnio's chagrin, and that's that for the first day of the second half of the season.
Week 29
IFCL Challengers’ Cup
Round of 32, First Leg
Yaxton FC (TAE) 1-2 Anomalies (CMT), Anomalies (CMT) wins in aggregate (3-2)
It is the Taeshani side that scores first this time, but Wadsworth and Jacobs respond, and Anomalies make it through to the next round.
Cup Winners' Cup
Second Round, Second Leg
Eyrods (CMT) 0-4 Metropolis Alligators (VLD), Metropolis Alligators (VLD) wins 7-2 in aggregate
Metropolis Alligators absolutely dominate the game in Eyrods, resulting in the Chromatik side being absolutely embarrassed; but then, what did Eyrods expect when going against such a side?
Chromatik took the disgrace of losing to Eyrods and decided to use Deprí Sanar as a punching bag, showing no mercy in a six-nil drubbing. After Eyrods also took down Urrheddiao, perhaps that former defeat wasn't as demeaning after all. The difference for the Jungle Cats in the last two matches? Perilous Whiteside. The Nepharim left midfielder has been brilliant as of late.
Not much was expected of Alnio after their season up to this point; however, the team really stepped up as the Anomalies came into town, Sierra Aurtenetxe enjoying a rare start to the tune of a brace as the Brewers post their best result of the season, handing AFC only their second loss.
In other matches, Miners scored a valuable win at home against Wirr Tsi, Anchors solved the Crossroads midfield puzzle with a great individual effort from Kyle Falcon, Lhor and Brisara play an entertaining ninety minutes to a three-three draw, and Ming is lucky enough to get a point at Felswyr after the Frost control the game for most of the match.
Week 30
Liga B Champion’s Trophy
Round of Sixteen, Second Leg
New Island (SCT) 2-0 Deprí Sanar (CMT), New Island (CMT) wins 4-2 in aggregate
New Island take over, and Deprí Sanar's run ends. At least it was to a team managed by a Chromatik Manager.
Atlantian Oceania Champions' League
Second Round, Second Leg
Ashbury Park (CBP) 1-1 Anomalies (CMT), Anomalies (CMT) wins 2-1 in aggregate
Ashbury Park spring to an early lead, but Kamu Jacobs's header smashes the way through to the next round.
Vilitan Cove Invitational
Second Round, Second Leg
Alnio (CMT) 2-1 AC Mariina (MRN), Alnio (CMT) wins 4-3 in aggregate
Simon Jacobsen's header in the ninety-second minute sends the Brewers to the next round.
Tihon's frustrations continue with a nil-nil draw against Brisara - they've now been caught up in the pack chasing Anomalies and Myana. Iskender Nur is doing his part, but the goalscoring hasn't been there - twenty-three in eighteen games is not something that Tihon fans thought they'd see. At least they won't be as frustrated as Anomalies, whose slip-up - Bugarin is really performing well lately - has allowed an Islander side that took care of Anchors at home to get within a point of their lead. There are twelve games left, but it'll be tight.
Chromatik continue on the rebound by edging out Ming, who has really come back to earth after their torrid start, while Alnio continues to experience a bit of a resurgence, matching Crossroads at every turn.
In other matches, Urrheddiao is undone by a late strike from Janet Light, and Wirr Tsi cannot get past the barrage of strikes from a determined Lhor.
Week 31
IFCL Challengers’ Cup
Round of 16, First Leg
Kionao Locals (TUR) 3-1 Anomalies (CMT)
As one climbs up the tournament, the opposition gets tougher; Kionao Locals is no joke, and the 3-1 scoreline is almost expected.
Violet Cup III Fixtures - Quarterfinals, First Leg
Knetyohai 0–1 Eyrods
Knetyohai: None; Eyrods: Tetreault '11
Lorentine 0–5 Miners FC
Lorentine: None; Miners FC: Humphreys '22, '39, '58, Exarchopolous '63, Noguera '81
Hanai 0–4 Qet
Qet: Gainsbourg '21, '58, Lemus '71, '90+2
Anfanhar City 0–1 Deprí Sanar
Anfanhar City: None; Deprí Sanar: Light '74
And this may be where all the fairy tales end. Eyrods' lead over Knetyohai is the narrowest, but the Jungle Cats do have the best defense; Qet hammer Hanai, but Miners' domination of Lorentine is the most noticeable. Deprí Sanar? A simple affair in Anfanhar City. However, it isn't over until it's over.

Week 32
Vilitan Cove Invitational
Round of Sixteen, First Leg
Chippewa Valley United FC (DAR) 1-2 Alnio (CMT)
Ga-yeong Han's brace on the road gives the Brewers the narrow lead.
Perhaps they've taken all of Tihon's mojo - the former contenders have gone 0-1-3 in the last four matches, with Hamit Karadere adding to their woes with a surgical strike; thankfully, Ming are also floundering with the same record over four matches - a much-needed victory for Morningstar's Urrheddiao.
As much as Crossroads has improved, they still can't handle the absolute class act that is Anomalies, Wadsworth scoring her seventeenth goal of the season as the firepower is too much to handle. The other capital club, Chromatik, smashed Felswyr, who'd actually snuck up to sixth place. No Bugarin, no scoring for the Frost, it seems like.
In other games, Deprí Sanar notches their fifth win of the year and sits at tenth, Brisara FC edges out Anchors as Rivers earns her keep, and Alnio and Myana play in the most entertaining nil-nil draw ever as both Theodore Ignau and Joann Petersen stops seven shots apiece. It's a bit of a shame that the game did end nil-nil.
Week 33
IFCL Challengers’ Cup
Round of 16, Second Leg
Anomalies (CMT) 0-2 Kionao Locals (TUR), Kionao Locals (TUR) wins 5-1 in aggregate
It's a good showing for Anomalies to make it to the Round of Sixteen; losing to Kionao Locals isn't disgraceful, though a 1-5 scoreline is rather dire. Not bad for their first really deep run in international club competition.
The return leg of the Chromia Derby sees Anomalies return the favor of the 0-1 defeat in Matchday 5, while the Crusaders stumble in Myana via a late volley from Hanson-Conavacio.
Wirr Tsi's smacking of Anchors FC sees them be a point ahead of Anchors FC; Alnio and Brisara FC fight to yet another nil-nil draw along with Felswyr-Urrheddiao; Ming return to form by helping on Miners FC's woes, and Lhor gets in range to make a late run via a Feltzer dagger.
Standings After Twenty Games:
Red League Pld W D L GF GA GD Pts Last5The team with the best record in the last five? Eyrods. Anomalies and Myana behind them, and still leading the fray; Ming and Tihon are lucky that their lack of form hasn't resulted in Chromatik and Crossroads catching up even more than they already have. Two things of note - that fifth placed spot seems within reach for almost anyone, and the second relegation spot also seems to be within reach of a lot of teams. Miners seem resigned to be relegated and lose Augustus Humphreys.
