Week 8
Champions’ Cup Group Stage Game 1A rather rough match as the very first match of a Chromatik team in the
Tihon 1-2 Handon United
Globe Cup Group Stage Game 1
Chromatik 3-0 Starling
Series B Champions’ Cup Group Stage Game 1
Deprí Sanar 1-0 Tout-Puissant Hasiera
Champions’ Cup Group Stage, as Danica Farrier’s goal isn’t able to carry the team past Natalie Adams, Daniel
Dostalok, and the international might that is Handon United. Chromatik make Lisa Amos’s return a miserable one as Murray, Vickers, and co. simply sweep aside the side. Deprí Sanar? Might have found a star in one Cherry Whitecastle, as the teenage phenom scores the game-winner, a rebound off a shot taken by Stefan Metod.
In what should’ve been a top-of-the-table clash of the early going, Tihon put Chromatik fans into a state of worry as Alister’s team did what they do best: suffocate the crap out of their opponents. The only sign of life for Chromatik during the match was the brilliant free kick taken by Cantor; otherwise, Tihon won in time of possession (over forty minutes with the ball), chances (eight to two), goals (two to one), and made half of the Capitalizt Dome empty by the end of the match. Tough going for St. Laurent’s squad that was hoping to set the tone early - three points in six matches is not where they want to be.
Felswyr’s experiment of having a supportive striker to Deleon continues to pay dividends, as they come away with another high-scoring win over Lhor, Sigrun Barota the man of the match with a goal and three assists as Addison’s las-gasp effort is saved off the right hand of Nika Justus. Another new signee that did well was Jane Schramm - she was responsible for setting up all of Lhor’s goals.
Alnio’s early-season form was tested by another team that has continued to defy expectations, as the Union and Red Hawks played to an entertaining draw at RCK Field. It was often-beleaguered Havel Thomas that started the scoring from thirty yards out in a beautiful streaker, only to be equalized by Ariane Gallagher two minutes later. After that, both teams couldn’t breach the other’s defenses, the Hawks cleared an absurd twelve crossing shots in front of their goal, and both teams left wanting. Deprí Sanar’s match against Crossroads was much the same - nice goals, solid defenses, evenly matched.
Biggest Winner: Urrheddiao. Biggest Loser: Chromatik.
Week 9
Champions’ Cup Group Stage Game 2A resounding trip to Lexington, stemming from what can be considered Karlovic’s declaration of professionalism, puts the Tide in solid position as the Mercedinian assists on two goals and scores the third. Capitalizt continue to take out their anger from their dismal domestic results at international competition, Vickers threading the needle against Pasargan Rouge. The Yellow Jackets falter against the Nucleus but all in all, a matchday that showed that Chromatik teams can play with those of the world.
Lexington Victory 0-3 Tihon
Globe Cup Group Stage Game 2
Hellenic Rouge 0-1 Chromatik
Series B Champions’ Cup Group Stage Game 2
New Oxford Nucleus 2-1 Deprí Sanar
Both Deprí teams have a hard time this day, with the Red Hawks falling victim to Profressice’s free kick and the Yellow Jackets not being able to contain Everdeen & Cantor. Chromatik salvages a match versus Crossroads, as Keenan’s Crusaders aren’t able to put to work Neovak’s grand outing as Vorbeck misses a penalty kick, and Swain is able to get the team to victory.
Most impressive result of the day? Lhor’s absolute trouncing of Z’ai’ai, Montablo showing her free kick skills with a brace and Addison ruling the midfield with an iron fist. Jessica Lennox had no shots on goal.
Biggest Winner: Tihon. Biggest Loser: Z’ai’ai.
Week 10
Champions’ Cup Group Stage Game 3Tihon has a rather hard time away at Crisisbless, putting a dent in their hopes; Chromatik falls flat versus Eastern Stars, and Deprí Sanar makes mincemeat of Whitetail Rangers.
Crisisbless 1-1 Tihon
Globe Cup Group Stage Game 3
Eastern Stars 2-0 Chromatik
Series B Champions’ Cup Game 3
Deprí Sanar 5-2 Whitetail Rangers
Atlantian Oceania Champions' League Preliminary Round, Leg 1
Tihon 1-0 Tarahal Lake Athletic
In the AOCL, Farrier salvages the Tide a vital three points.
Chromatik’s resurgence continues with another shutout victory, Crossroads stuns Alnio - Juri Kisame proving instrumental - and then the three draws come.
Urrheddiao’s tie against Z’ai’ai was just a sad match, neither side able to get anything going at all. Myana - Tihon? A rare misstep by Alister’s side as Drew Limones draws a penalty off of Tora Bozena and Victorina Bird hits it through. Leaving Lhor vs. Deprí Lanar as the man of the match. Ariane Gallagher and Elizabeth Addison have become bona fide representatives of Schottia in the Chromatik League, and both played a huge part in the match - Gallagher scoring a hat trick and Addison contributing two assists. However, it was Glanglad Lassansyr - one of the few Vanorians left in the league - that tied the game late.
Biggest Winner: Felswyr. Biggest Loser: Anomalies.
Week 11
Champions’ Cup Group Stage Game 4The beauty of the Group Stage is that you face the same opponent twice in a row. This allows for adjustments, and Alister has proven to be pretty apt at that. The Nepharim skipper was able to right the ship and inspire Tide to a victory over Crisisbless that gives them two wins, a draw, and a loss with two matches to go; Victory’s loss at Handon helps their cause further. Chromatik have a harder time of things at home versus their Avonian opponents, not being able to make Murray’s strike count. Helena Middlsbrough did all the work for the Yellow Jackets as they escaped Taeshan with a point.
Tihon 2-1 Crisisbless
Globe Cup Group Stage Game 4
Chromatik 1-1 Eastern Stars
Series B Champions’ Cup Group Stage Game 4
Whitetail Rangers 0-0 Deprí Sanar
Atlantian Oceania Champions' League Preliminary Round, Leg 2
Tarahal Lake Athletic 2-1 Tihon
Tihon wins, 2-2, on away goals (1-0)
Tarahal Lake Athletic proves to be a more formidable opponent on the road, but Haight is enough to grant them the away goals win, propelling the team to the Group Stage.
Catheline Keenan’s first nine matches as the manager of the Crusaders has gone about as expected: an average defense allowing two goals a game, which is pretty bad; an offense that has scored fifteen, which is better than where they were last year (at least they rank seventh in goals scored at this point), and a team that still lacks that killer instinct. The latest exhibit? Vorbeck’s brace before halftime being wasted as Corey Simmons Jr.’s squad turns in their best half of the early season, Lacy Profressice and Mindaugion Vansumé teaming up to set Victorina Bird up for a hat trick all in the second half. Beautiful, fluid play from the Islanders.
Chromatik continues to show life but find that Union are not just a five-match wonder. Laffitte and Cates tie up Vickers and Murray every time the two strikers cross the final third, meaning that it’s Jake Swan who plays the hero in causing Voncile Nealy to badly whiff on a tackle before putting away a midrange shot. Anomalies falls victim to a draw against an inferior squad as well, Helene Corridan making two uncharacteristic gaffs on tap-ins by Jessica Lennox that the Nepharim would have usually saved without a problem. “I have to focus better,” the keeper laments, “I am better than this.”
If you were to tell a commentator to describe the perfect football match, they would point you toward the tape of the game that the Frost played against Deprí Sanar. Possession? Check. Tackling? Check. Solid keeping for the few opportunities that the Yellow Jackets did have against Justus? Check. Selfless play as Barota sets up Deleon, and Jaeger follows behind for the rebounds? Check. However, most impressive was the play of Kai Dias in the second half, as the still developing player entered for Barota in the last twenty minutes and simply did not allow a single ball to cross his side of the field. Can it be Matchday 12 yet already? Felswyr vs. Tihon remains a match that is high on everyone’s watchlists as the season progresses.
Equally impressive is the play of one Deprí Lanar, which remains the only squad to not lose a match yet. Sure, the Red Hawks are currently in third, due to an absurd amount of six draws, but to not have tasted defeat in nine matches is impressive, even if the last victory came against a hapless United side who are seriously considering the future of their skipper at this point. As for this match, Gallagher, Lassansyr, and Jovanović just dominated.
Biggest Winner: Tihon. Biggest Loser: Urrheddiao.
Week 12
Champions’ Cup Group Stage Game 5Well… Tihon may be the class of the Chromatik League, but… Handon is one of the best teams of the world. Even with the defense holding up, Handon handled the Tide’s pressure well, and Rachel Hellion showed why she’s on that squad. Chromatik had a better showing against Starling - Lisa Amos just couldn’t get any revenge - Chromatik seems to be the team of the group. Deprí Sanar got some revenge against the Cenian team that defeated them.
Handon United 1-0 Tihon
Globe Cup Group Stage Game 5
Starling 2-3 Chromatik
Series B Champions’ Cup Group Stage Game 5
Deprí Sanar 3-1 New Oxford Nucleus
Cygnus Cup First Round Proper, Leg 1
FC Endeavor 1-2 Chromatik
Chromatik made it two-for-two in their week in international competitions, taking down FC Endeavor of Apox.
Tihon had a rather rough go at things in Urrheddiao, as Breno Schmidt tried to rally his troops and it almost worked. Monica Cunnington, Beatrice Collas, and Leonore Ransom had arguably their best games of the year, but against the playmaking ability of Rowan Varghese and Johan Karlovic, and the finishing power of Alyssa Haight and Danica Farrier, Tihon’s victory was inevitable. To put insult to injury, Réné Eason came in late and scored the game winner.
Myana and Chromatik play to a two-two draw that leaves both teams flustered; no Capitalizt fan thought that they’d be where they are now. Alnio finally gets revenge upon Deprí Sanar as Haskell shows off her class; Felswyr continues their reign with a thumping of Z’ai’ai, and Deprí Lanar, which is on a mission to be recognized as a perennial contender instead of just an also-run, eke out a victory over Anomalies, Iwan Roberts the man of the match with two key assists.
Biggest Winner: Deprí Lanar. Biggest Loser: Anomalies.

The BlackFlower Cup returns with even more matches in the first round, and they don’t disappoint. Five matches are decided by a single goal, with the more notable results including Miners being the only expansion team to make it to the next round, the Yellow Jackets needing extra time to get by Jayson’s Riders, and Cunnington coming through in the clutch to save United of further embarrassment. Alnio puts a clinic on the Pride while Myana takes care of business against Wirr Tsi; As for the match in Anfanhar… Holy hell, Leander Fremantle!

Week 13
Champions’ Cup Group Stage Game 6Wow. All three teams make it through to the knockout rounds, making it the best season for Chromatik teams. Tihon made it two for two versus Victory, Chromatik blank Hellenic Rouge, and the Yellow Jackets tie the Audioslav side.
Tihon 2-0 Lexington Victory
Globe Cup Group Stage Game 6
Chromatik 1-0 Hellenic Rouge
Series B Champions’ Cup Group Stage Game 6
Tout-Puissant Haseira 2-2 Deprí Sanar
Cygnus Cup First Round Proper, Leg 2
Chromatik 1-1 FC Endeavor
Chromatik wins, 3-2
An exhausted Chromatik give FC Endeavor fans some hope before snuffing it out on a low kick by Vickers that propels them to the next round.
The only two matches that didn’t end in draws couldn’t have been more different. Avksentiy Hildebrand is the scapegoat for Z’ai’ai’s defeat as Bruce Washington will most likely be taking his spot in the second leg, and likewise, Alexandru Zapars will likely be taking over for William Lewis. For Deprí Sanar, despite having the worst offense in the league, their defense - and specifically one Helena Middlesbrough - is playing really well. The other match saw Felswyr play their patented style of suffocating defense and fast counterattacks, the Red Hawks being their victims this time around. Sure, there’s eleven more games and then the split plus ten, but in their current form, the Frost look frighteningly good.
Biggest Winner: Felswyr. Biggest Loser: Z’ai’ai.
Standings After 11 Games:Two overperformers and two underperformers stand out, as both promoted teams are in the top six, and Lhor and Chromatik are in the bottom six. For Myana, Z'ai'ai, and Urrheddiao, this is not where they want to be; thankfully, sixth place is only six points away from twelfth, and there is still the split to put a soft reset on things. Atop the table sits Felswyr and Tihon, Frost ahead for now, though Alister's squad has shown that they play their best when under the most pressure; Deprí Lanar simply deserves to be here by this point, and Anomalies are eager to be better.

Second Division
Chromatik League Second Division Pld W D L GF GA GD PtsNo, your eyes do not deceive you. At this juncture, the Shock - yes, the Shock - sit second behind Lorentine, who were the favorites to win this thing. Pria is having a rough time of things in the bottom half of the division, but three points separate Anfanhar and Wirr Tsi, which is insane to think that eight teams sit in that zone. The Second Division will also be split into two divisions this time around, meaning that these next eleven matches will be important down here as well.
