On the behalf of the nations of the Tamrielese Sport Control Board, the Association of Mandatory Sport of the Democratic Republic of the Nordic Flower-Peoples welcomes the participating teams of the Practical United Region of Tamriel to the premier edition of the Tamriel Golden Shield!

This tournament is only open to those nations who signed up on the Regional Message Board via the poll.

Alex Leon woke up right next to his buddies from the Tylerville Romans; Marcus Gregson, Santana Curry, Todd Duff, Jon Johnson,Yuriy Zachries, Labron Carter, Josh North, Peter Hensen and Donta Lopez.
"What on earth happened?" Alex said as he groans from the headache he noticed he had. "I don't know man, Marcus said, One thing I do know is we are in some kind of house. All I remember is that we were at McDonalds and Santana was ordering a happy meal..."
"HEY! Santana yells, I can't help if they have cool toys to play with. Also, potatoes are AWESOME!"
Yuriy laughs "We all know you like Potatoes. The question now is how in the name of Venus are we getting out of here? Besides we have a Monday Night game to go to. Good thing we are in the playoffs."
Peter, who, like Marcus, is a natural leader, had a plan. "We should message Mark Kelley JR. We all know he is an ninja as well as a football player. Santana, you were an army sniper, what are our chances of getting out are?"
"Well," Santana thought, "we can't." All groan. "But," Santana responded, "we can message Mark. We just have to be smart about it."
They conversation is cut short by a knocking on the door and the door slammed open. In comes an ton of Stormtroopers and a little short man who's name is......Dick!

Dave King And Terrell Johnson are natural rivals. Even during their preschool days the fought. Their families feuded and they just took it to the gridiron. High School and College were the worst. They often would not even shake hands. Now Thanks to Josh Stampede, they now have to fight to have the starting job for the Knights. Josh said to himself as they both show up for practice for the first time,"This is going to be a long tournament."

UNIFORM CODE VIOLATION REPORT

The Assocation of Sport Regulation (AMS) of the Republic has determined that the following participants in the Tamriel Golden Shield gridiron football tournament would be deemed ineligible to play in matches hosted in the Republic due to violations of the Republican Gridiron Uniform Code for Players:

The AMS forwarded the report to the Tamrielese Sport Control Board, which authorised the AMS to issue temporary uniform numbers to the ineligible players, for the purpose of record-keeping during the tournament. Temporary uniforms with these numbers will be issued to these players during the tournament, which shall be stock white with black lettering:

Failure to wear said replacement jersey will result in the player's ineligibility for the game in which it is not worn.

Cal Maxmus will wear a jersey marked 3.
Jumbo Dumbo will wear a jersey marked 99.
Rey King will wear a jersey marked 62.
Red Gunner will wear a jersey marked 67.
Ben Big will wear a jersey marked 77.
Willow Sasil will wear a jersey marked 21.
Cam Cant will wear a jersey marked 14.

These jersey numbers must be worn during the time these players play at either stadium in the Republic, including semi- and finals matches if they are eligible to play. These jerseys need not be worn in nations outside the Republic unless their gridiron football associations expressly prohibit their use within their nation.

Additionally, a report was filed regarding the use of the same jersey number by Hammerheads' defencive back Ace Uno (# 1) and reserve running back Xavier Rudd (#01). The Tamrielese Sport Control Board ruled that this shall be permitted, provided both players are not on the field at the same time.

Viking Mjølnir team drops Wanderers for 2nd loss of season
Staff Report

The Thor City Knights overpowered the Courtenay Wanderers, 17-13, at the Japan Bread Dome in Thor City in the 9th match of the 1st Tamriel Golden Shield.

The game marked Tamrielese sport history, being the first men's sporting match in the Practical United Region of Tamriel to be officiated by a woman. That woman was South Otselician referee Hedwige Blanchard, aged 29. The Tamriel Golden Shield has two woman coaches, Wanderers' Raymonde Theriault, 32, and Storm's Valériane Sauvageon, 31. Both are from Peuples Nordiques des Fleurs.

The Wanderers (1-2) will play an unknown opponent ((OOC: I will update this)) on Sunday.

Alex Leon was tired after the 3rd game. Sure the team was undefeated, but there was uncertainty because Glorious Leader seemed to be in a foul mood. Why just an hour before the game, A trainer caught deflating a ball vanished. It was heard that he was executed by firing squad known as the Brady Squad.They have 12 men and are lead by a guy named Bill Patriot. They serve on the New Hangug city, not to be confused with Sasil City. It was only a matter of time. As Alex entered the room he and Jon were put in, He saw a figured dressed as an assassin. "Well...What took you so long?" He asked. The figure let down his hood and spoke, "Ahh my friend, You could have told Santana to make it more obvious." "Good to see you Mark." Alex replied, "So what is the plan?" "I am afraid right now is not a good time. You see I am not suppose to be known here, you can tell the guys but....Make sure the guards don't know. J.J. Shetland is trying to talk to the idiot known as Glorious Leader." Mark started to go, but before he left, he spoke these words:" If you and the rest of the gang want to get out of here, play the game and trust me."

Fin Boy was running out of time and he had nothing. The game was tied at 0-0 with 0:01 second left. He had only his backup kicker to depend on, 17-year-old Jason Long.
