Tell you what, Kaboomlandia: If that doesn't happen this time round (either because Novaya Zemlya eliminates you or you don't end up facing me, Quibbles or Val) then I'll give you a couple of friendlies, home and away, just before the 33rd World Cup of Hockey starts. Preferably with OT (and shootout if possible), just to make sure that a win definitely happens. Hey, it might not be an official, competitive win but at least it's something.

I've shutout Ko-orean, I've beaten Havl, I've beaten Elejamie. The only people left on my hit list is GGS for chirping and Quebec for just fucking me up 4-5 times every WCoH.

I'm debating whether to fire Blair Mitchell - while he's led the team to four straight playoff berths, they've lost in the first round three of those times, were swept 2-0 in 29 and 32, and had a total defensive collapse in the semifinals and 3PPO of 30.

No need to be sorry there was delay on my part too, with productivity being lower than expected and university demanding things. But I'll very likely hold the draft on the weekend (so also a call for anyone who still wants to send me prospects ^^). SHS teams are not obliged to draft players, but I'll find places for all the foreign players meeting requirements if they're half decent. Just maybe don't expect to end up in the top Army/Navy/Air Force teams, IC reasons.

Third. I played Gregoryisgodistan back in the WCoH29 final, then Valanora in the WCoH30 final... and again at the WCoH31 final... and now again at the WCoH32 final. I think it's getting to the point where there might as well be a special trophy that Val and I should play for whenever our ice hockey teams face each other, sort of like the Calcutta Cup in the Six Nations.

Letting you guys know now, depending on my schedule and availability, I might be doing that Spengler Cup-like tournament either in late April or early May. For those who don't know, this is typically when you send your "meh" national team (i.e. minor leaguers, guys who aren't typically good enough for the "top hockey leagues" of NSSports and mediocre prospects) to compete. If you need an example of a roster, I've already put together the Ontorisan roster for this competition:

Note: IRL leagues are used, but only to highlight what quality your players should be. If the tournament occurs, I'll probably change the majority of the leagues.

As a Swiss who has grown up with Spengler Cup and for whom it is a major highlight of the year, I'd almost have to join. Is it going to be Team Canada for everyone or would you also do invited club teams like in the real SC?

Also, my interest in reviving WJHC still stands. Given that nobody seems to be responsible for it (I know someone pointed me to RKQ, and I TG'd him a few weeks back but then also didn't really pursue it) should I just make a bid and post it on this thread, and let you decide whether you want it or not?

Well since no one else is doing it, you can try it unless someone else have an objection.

Hopefully the spengler cup and WJHC don't happen at same time for RP reasons even if they does in RL, so you both should talk together to decide which cup comes first after the WCoH, so we would have either WCoH ---> spengler ---> WJHC --->WCoH and so on or WCoH ---> WJHC ---> spengler ---> WCoH and so on. Hopefully both tournaments would be completed before the next WCoH starts.
