ATTN: Hockey Champions' League Participants

I am going to pilot a Junior Hockey Champions' League during this cycle of the HCL. I do not know how many people will scorinate a junior league besides Quebec and I, however, if you are interested, the entrant number is 4 for all nations and I will go forward with the league if we have four or more nations submitting entrants.

The general make-up of junior hockey teams is 19 and under with a maximum of 3 players who are 20 years of age. However, I will also accept university teams as well in order to raise enough numbers for this first edition.

After this first addition, I will assess whether or not there is enough interest to maintain this. My hope is that roughly two thirds of HCL participants will also be JHCL participants. However, I don't know how much interest there is in junior hockey, so that is why I am simply piloting this right now.

The cutoff is the same as the HCL cutoff, 17:00 CDT on 03/05/2015.

Is there an NHL-like league for NS Sports where multiple teams from multiple countries compete against one another? Because I think that's some good hockey RPing right there for the long term run.

That is pretty much what the Hockey Champions' League is for. Everyone scorinates their own NHL-like league, and then the top four from each league play each other. The thread is here.

That would be hard because there are more than just two countries with professional hockey clubs. Hockey in NS is a lot more like Soccer IRL. There are many equally competitive leagues and professional international competitions. Having just one league won't work as well as the current system.

Due to the different timezone that the co-bidders are located in, it might take little bit longer than expected and really they might be the ones doing the job of hosting and organising the job for you. No need to get so impatient.

I discussed this somewhat with Ko-oren in advance and we will go with a 56 team tournament. Currently we have 54, and Ko-oren is willing to throw in a numbers puppet if need be to make 55. That means we need at least one more signup. Once we get that, the everything thread will go up whenever Ko-oren and I are both available together. Probably sometime tomorrow, assuming we make numbers by then.
