You were no less selfish with your acts of immaturity as of late, and it was not by my choice, but rather the preexisting policy made by the moderations team that I follow to. If it weren't for those policies I'd have rejected such withdrawal as no more than a tantrum.

I recommend that you never come back to the tournament if by any chance you ever return.

Even though I wasn't participating (though I did have a quick lurk every now and then), I'm still going to congratulate the winner for winning the trophy, offer my commiserations to the runners-up and congratulate Quebec on hosting what seemed to be a brilliant tournament. Oh, and an incredibly belated congraulations to Banija on becoming the new WCoH president.

First off, commiserations to Valanora, who also played a great tournament. A huge thanks to Quebec for hosting - it was a great tournament, with a lot of great RPs and participation. Thanks to everyone above for the kind words as well. Looking forward to edition #41!

Congratulations to Siovanija and Teusland for the win, and consolations to Valanora for a great run.

Finally, thank you all for making this cycle the most successful since WCoH 27- it was almost 5 yrs ago when we last hit the 200-post mark for the competition. It was a thrilling tourney to host (even in middle of all sorts of bizarre situations I had to deal with IRL), and I was very happy to have served as your host.

Congrats to Siovanija and Teusland for winning, nice job Valanora you did very well.

I definitely enjoyed my first WCOH and while I didn't rp too much, I plan on doing so more in the future.

Why are former hosts separated and put on their own list apart from other potential members or those on the watchlists?
Like why are you listed twice on the 'Federation Addition Watchlist', Queb?

I'm not an expert on the WCoH Constitution, but it looks like former hosts get an additional cycle of grace period if they don't post a roster (3, as opposed to 2 for normal members).

I've noticed this just now. My apologies.

It is likely a minor error. Regardless, I am listed on the 'Federation Addition Watchlist' because I was on a RP hiatus from 31 to 39. Anyhow, good to be back.

I'm not officially unretiring (in fact, in all brutal honesty I only joined because I promised Quebec I'd get back into this and I'd rather explain WHY I abandoned this sport when I get internet at home because long post) but if I do well AND we get a competent host then I might consider actually coming back.

Another annoying question.

I'm guessing the "international transfer hub" spreadsheet linked earlier in this thread is no longer in use or active?

It doesn't get a lot of use, but as far as I know it is still current. I'm assuming we're talking about the Ontorisa version. Honestly, when I get contacted about trading players, I ask that it's entered on the sheet as its easier for me to keep track than hoping I don't delete the wrong TG. I honestly feel we should keep this record going, and also that maybe it needs to see more use.

It's still active, it's just it doesn't get used that often because we're a smaller NSSports demographic.

That being said, if you guys need to contact me about any updates to the sheet, I'm on Discord as benches#8386 as I don't check NS that often anymore. If Neu, or Quebec, or any of the Federation guys needs admin access to the spreadsheet as well, they can shoot me a DM/TG.

If you mean the domestic ice hockey scene: Pretty much. After all, the HCL isn't really an RP tournament and there aren't any other regular club tournaments. EDIT: There's also the HNL but since this was my first time hearing about it you could see why I didn't mention it.

If you mean ice hockey in general: I'm not so sure. From what I understand the World Cup of Hockey was one of the biggest tournaments on NS Sports before a number of reasons (which I won't go into although I've got a massive post ready if anyone wants me to) pretty much turned the whole thing into a shell of its former glory.

If it isn't already, I'd probably also recommend the transfer spreadsheet thing being put in a place where everyone can see it, whether it be in someone's signature, on the OP or anywhere else. That way we might see a lot more traffic.

I have advocated for this before, but I will second it again. Please WCoH Executives, put the link to the transfer/trade sheet into the OP of this thread. There is literally no reason not to.

I am actually VERY curious about those reasons. But I get people not wanting to go into these kinds of things, I just tend to enjoy it.
