Welcome to the revival NewsWires Thread of the WCHC. Please post your nation’s domestic handball league results, transfers, et cetera here. You can generate league results using a scorinator such as Xkoranate, as explained in the Guide to Sports Roleplaying. OOC discussion should be placed in the International Domestic Handball Discussion thread.

The WCHC club tournament is held in this thread. There's possibilities that we can add different tournaments for Second Division teams or a Cup Winners Cup throughout the time (that posiblities will be planificated on the Discussion thread) You can enter the best teams from your league in these tournaments here by following the entry rules, posted here:

Entries Procedure

• The WCHC is the world championship for handball clubs. Each association enters its best four teams according to their regular season or according to playoffs system.
  
• Every OOC user is allowed to enter two (2) nations, being one the main nation and the other the puppet, which must be declared at the moment of posting the respective entry.
  
• If a user is caught entering more than one puppet, shall be banned from competitions for one cycle (Including his main puppet)
  
• An entries box shall be posted at the end of every result post of each league, being on the following format:

A deadline for entry to each season of WCHC competition will be posted at least one week in advance (I will try to post it normally between one or two weeks in advance). All entries posted between the start of the previous season and the deadline will be accepted. After the deadline has passed, results of the competitions will be posted roughly twice a day.

Regular Season

After a lockout that disrupted any pro handball activity in its highest stage for 10 months, Bundesliga Handball made its comeback to the Quebecois audience as a 2nd fiddle to QHL once again. The attendance figures reached all time high, with the average attendance figure in a game being 14,339, as the season unfolded to show some expected and unexpected results....

Borderlands Handball League

Welcome to the 10th season of the Borderlands Handball League, this league was established after the other national league went under along with all of its teams. So the BHL was established to once again try to get people interested in Handball. Needless to say, it worked as many people now have started to watch this league plus, it has the potential to rival the second most popular sport: Baseball. Now this league works in a unconventional way: there are no playoffs so the first place team is the champion of the league, but there is a domestic cup that the teams fight for after the season. Entries to the WCHC are not based on cup results but league results.

[The Jahistic Unified Republic]

Facing incredible odds last season, the Unolia Revolutionaries were able to finish in fourth (one point ahead of the Chesterdale Fortsguards) and earn their way into the Unolia Series playoffs. This was a disappointment to the regular season champions Bradburgh Buffalos, as they subsequently lost to the UnRevs 53-51 in an amazing aggregate upset. The UnRevs ended up claiming the Championship in five games (including two ET wins) against the Stockaire Zenith.

Meanwhile, League Three was abolished outright into two conferences, much to the dismay of the teams that weren't promoted last season into League Two. Despite this change, the System itself is at it's largest, with sixty teams competing in three leagues and two conferences, including college, semi-professional and even youth (18-24) teams.
