Yes.

Also, Floria Ayslateri (VEK) should have advanced in the women’s 1/8 finals, and Frances Milliken (ETM) won the big final (unless she loses to Ayslateri when you resim the quarterfinal).

I've fixed it. The effects of the corrections to parallel giant slalom results are:

2 of Electrum's medals upgraded to gold at the expense of Patistan and Schutzenphalia and West Ruhntuhnkuhnland and the removal of one of my bronze medals.

ICly, this can be RPed as the Republican officials giving out medals to the wrong athletes.

Shouldn't Julia Knopfn (KGS)'s bronze be removed, not yours? She was disqualified on the first run, so there shouldn't have been a second run for your rider to DNF.

There should not have been a second run once the rider was DSQ'd in the first run, meaning bronze would've gone to the rider who finished the first run.

Disqualification in the first run in parallel snowboarding results in a time penalty for the second run. xkoranate handles this. The rider who finished the second run should get the bronze.

I'm sorry, but this didn't make sense to me because I already RPed von Bärberg as winning his race. So instead, I said that Republican officials gave out the wrong time handicap: meaning that although he did win his race on the ground to observers' eyes, on time - when the Electrum rider was credited with the correct time penalty only - he came second. That made more consistent sense to me and allowed me to not retcon my prior RP, so I hope that's okay.

Thanks for sorting all this out!

Is it just me, or do the results these Olympics seem pretty random? Many of my lower-ranked athletes have done extremely well, and many of my high-ranked athletes haven't, even in the same event. For instance, in one of the ski jumping qualifiers, my athlete with a rank of 99 didn't qualify, but my three with ranks of 89, 51, and 50 did. I've won two speed skating medals, with ranks of 66 and 22, but my five entries with ranks of 95 or higher have been shut out and often finished far down in the standings. Of course, I've RPed every day so that may have something to do with my low-ranked entries doing well, but it doesn't explain why many of them are doing better than entries ranked much higher. None of my very high-ranked figure skaters did well, and the pair of Lord Almighty Gregory and Cleffie Martinez did absolutely horrible in the short program, but I had a low-ranked figure skater (or team) do well in every event there. It's strange.

For what it's worth, here are the ranks of my medalists:

Gold: 99, 47, 33, 66, 44, 66, 61 (average = 59)
Silver: 54, 98, 89, 55, 31, 22, 49, 29, 87, 34 (average = 55)
Bronze: 98, 49, 77, 61, 81, 99 (average = 77)

Overall average = 62

So the overall average for medalists is barely better than the overall average for the team, which was a little less than 50. While my RP Bonus may have been high due to the fact that I RPed every day and most people didn't, only four of the medalists had ranks over 90, and one of them was in the biathlon pursuit by an athlete who had already won a medal in the sprint and so had an advantage in time. I don't know how much RP Bonus is weighted, since the bid didn't specify, but if it's 40 percent like it was last time, then even if I maxed it out, the medalist with a 22 would have as much rank+RP as an athlete with rank 53 from a nation who didn't RP and had an MMAB of 0, who seems unlikely to medal.

Perhaps it has something to do with FFR effectively using absolute bonuses instead of relative bonuses (due to FFR receiving a full point of RP Bonus every day, meaning no matter what he set it on it would be scaled relative to 1, in other words absolute.) Of note, it's actually harder for a non-host to max out RP Bonus than it would have been at the last Summer Games, since you would need to have both the highest-scoring RP that day and the highest-scoring overall, whereas in Bay City, you'd just need the highest total. Then again, if Kytler used the same host bonus scheme FFR is using, relative bonus would have been useless there too.

Relative bonus is based on the highest RP-modified skill among the entries in the particular event. It would only be the same as absolute bonus in events that FFR has entered with 100 skill.

Welp! It's midnight and I've forgotten to RP. Sorry for that, but I guess I should be given a break since it is the last day.

A big congratulations for tomorrow when we'll reach our final day. It's been a well-run tournament FFR, and you should definitely be proud for what you have achieved.

Seconding what Electrum wrote. Well-run, no major delays, no big problems. If ever you had interest in doing a Summer Olympics, you'd have my vote.

I hate to be a pain after the event is over, but in the women's parallel slalom snowboarding it seems like you advanced the wrong "Anja".
