With deepest apologies for lateness (turns out selling your childhood home is a bit more of a project than expected)...

Sign ups for World Bowl XXXV are now open.
The poster of this message is likely the current President of the World Bowl Assembly (Drawkland).

In all seriousness, I'll put some form of rp forward - I need to be mid-table at best in the groups O>O
Also, inheriting rank of Kebec/Kep.

I'd like to know how ICly Razenthuria became the continuation of Kebec? Did a revolution happen?

For example, I merged all my nations but one into a bigger one. All my cities, team names and players remained the same. So Prusy Krolewskie or Southern Democratic States' rank got transferred to the U.S.A.R.

Another example is Gregoryisgodistan who had a revolution and Lord Almighty Gregory was overturned, gregoryisgodistanis renamed their country, took real names and renamed their locations but it's the same nation on the map. Because of this, South Covello can claim Gregoryisgodistan's rank.

A third example is Saintland who separated in West and East Saintland so I think West Saintland claimed Saintland's rank.

What's the IC tie-in between them? Can a past RP be referenced to show how this is a successor nation?

From a cursory reading, it seems to me that there was some kind of religious civil war/revolution between those of the Norse faith, who had ruled Kebec, & Christians, who established Razenthuria as a competing government; the Christian Razens defeated the Norse Kebecois to rule over all of Kebec/Razenthuria, it seems. (Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong here, or if there are any important details that I'm missing.)

Is there a intl. domestic gridiron thread or a said club championship for said event? I was wondering as obviously, that'll better expose my league to the rest of y'all and such.

Cool. I see no problem with it, then, Razenthuria.

On a separate note: I have thus far received a grand total of two votes on the host bids for World Bowl XXXV. Committee Members, please note that you have a little over two days to submit your votes, so please, get on that when you have a chance. Thanks.

I am assuming that potential hosts cannot vote, although I couldn't actually find anything in the constitution to say we can't.

So, we nation-hopping like in NSSCRA?
Jebslund is a nation of kerbals ruled by Emperor Jebediah Kerman. We reject tyranny, believing that rights should be protected, though we also believe said rights end where the rights of others begin.
Shockingly, we *do* use NS stats, with the exception of lifespan.
Singular sapient: Jebslunder
Plural Sapient: Jebslunden
Singular/Plural nonsapient: Kermanic
Note: When a verb can logically only be done by the sapient using/piloting/holding the object in question, then the appropriate demonym for the number of sapients is used.

Capitalism, Socialism, and Communism are ECONOMIC SYSTEMS. Stop conflating them with political systems.

I hope that continues against Abanhfleft, as this will be the third sport we'll play them at in quick succession (Football at WC80, Quidditch at QWC8 and now Sarzoball).

I'm not sure if this has been answered before, if it has I apologize but how exactly will we have a round of 16 with 7 groups. If the top 2 of each group make it then it'll be 14 teams. Will their be like a wildcard sudden death match or will you just the 2 top 3 teams of a group with the best results?

The top two teams per group make the playoffs. Then the next best two teams get two wild card spots.
