We're still waiting for an official host bid. I would if I didn't already have two things on my plate now.

I mean I can host I have never do it before but its a first.

I'll be first to support this here. Despite the unconventionality of the bid, I'm very intrigued, and think this would be a fun change of pace.

Despite the fact I crashed out in the Quarterfinals, that World Bowl XXXI hosted by FFR was actually pretty fun, in a kinda-similar vein.

As I said on Discord, I'm in favour of this bid. I think there is a lot of room for more unconventional formats across all tournaments, and I'm looking forward to see this format in practice.

Also, the results of the host voting have been tallied. By unanimous acclaim (no calls for a reopen of bidding), Banija is chosen as World Bowl XXXVII host!

I'm getting my roster prepared, though I'm wondering if anyone's interested in one of the RP storylines I'm doing. It's going to be set primarily in a prison in Main Nation Ministry, where the Leader (for seemingly no apparant reason) makes a death course outta the place and offers freedom for everyone. Obviously, hell ensures. I'm offering foreign prisoners, if anyone's interested.

Technically by Ministrian law, the laws still apply even if you're a tourist or foreigner. Committing a crime in the nation would land someone in prison. But... if that person committed a crime outside of the nation, but entered the nation, they are still wanted and are arrested to be put in prison within the nation. So if your giant is arrested for being a giant, that wouldn't count since the Leader enforced several laws that applied to demons and monsters who are legal citizens. Your giant would have to commit a crime before being put in the prison.

Yeah he's probably killed a police officer who was 'enforcing the laws of tyranny' or something. It's Velstrania, it doesn't take much for them to decide to go all 'this is a crusade for freedom, fight the unending war against the tyrant.'

If he did that in Main Nation Ministry, he would get the death penalty almost immediately. Having him getting arrested after leaving Velstrania will make some sense.
