That was somewhat disappointing. Granted, I’ve barely RPed since week 7 and after the last couple of seasons this is way better than my expectations placed the squad.

See the awkward point now is that I'm absolutely obligated to RP but I have no idea what to actually RP since I haven't set up a series or theme and a one-shot RP is hard to pull off without being dumb. Smh.

I apologize for coasting this time around, and (I can't believe I'm actually saying this) I hope that I don't win it all. Definitely would not be deserved.

To be fair, making the Quarterfinals as a new nation is a really great start. Keep at it and you'll be a real contender in no time.

For those of you that care about the Golden Bowl, I've posted an update here. This World Bowl has been relatively uneventful, Drawkland lost to Ranoria, then Ranoria lost to Drawkland again. With the wins this Bowl, Drawkland is now up to 27 games carrying the Golden Bowl, passing Cassadaigua (21) on the list. They're now 4th, behind Delaclava (33), Dancougar (38), and Allamunnic States (39).

Also if someone would make a simple yet cool logo for the Golden Bowl to make these posts nicer ..... that'd be awesome.

Congrats to Abanhfleft on now having titles with both of his nations! And an undefeated run here with Pridnestrovia- a tall order. Well deserved :clap:

My own semifinal curse continues- though I actually won a 3PPO, thank the good Lord. Excited for the next edition

Oops, sorry, forgot to congratulate our champs, commiserate with our runners-up, and thank Ko-oren for another smooth competition! (Sorry about disappearing again. One day, that will stop happening.)

Since we already have one person in the 36 thread asking about the next one, should we tentatively schedule discussion for the start of the next one for mid-March, at which point we can figure out how much, if at all, we need to delay it?

Start it no earlier then after the World Cup. Note that the nation that inquired in the WB36 thread was a non-roleplaying nation for the World Baseball Classic.

Even if we want to wait until after NSCF is done, it'd make sense to get World Bowl signups going soon. It looks like we should be able to fit it in before the WCQs start regardless.

We are about three days out from the official close of host bidding and have yet to receive any bids. Does anyone plan on changing that?

It's also been several days since we last received a sign-up. I've noted the bid hosting issue in the sign-up thread to double as a bump, but that's not a great sign.

I'm also willing to, but I'm going to be traveling at least a big in the next month or two, so I figured mine could be a last resort. Whichever. I can also extend the host bidding, I just wanted to give a reminder and to ask and see if anyone had something in the pipeline.
