So, uh, since I guess this is my job now, here are the Post World Bowl XXXIII Rankings.

Some notes:
-Made this a different sheet than FFR's just in case. Everything else is the same except now the sheet is on my Drive.
-Counted ties as .5 of a win since it looks like that's what FFR did last cycle.
-Changed USAR in the ranks to "Alpine Union" since that's what he's going by now.
-Made sure to correctly spell "Aggrey-Fynn Land".
-Removed all nations who haven't participated in 3 straight editions.
-Kept nations with 0.00 rank (but have participated in any of the last 3 editions) for Pots purposes, just in case.
-Cried about dropping to third in the rankings.

If I made any mistakes feel free to let me know on this thread, obviously. This is my first time with these ranks so it's possible (not likely tho) that I messed up somewhere.

Alrighty, folks, I'm looking at getting the sign-ups to the next edition of the World Bowl later this month; either in the next week or so, or towards the week of US Thanksgiving, with an eye the World Bowl itself started up to coincide with the onset of College Football Championship Week, or, failing that, Bowl Season.

I'm going to take silence as assent on this, so if anyone objects, make sure to register those objections.

The only issue I could see with this would be a possible conflict with the World Cup Finals. Then again, I doubt many of the top players in the World Bowl will be worrying about the later rounds of the World Cup knockout rounds so it could go either way.

Even then, that'd only happen in the case of an extended World Cup schedule or an expedited World Bowl timeline. It'll probably be no issue.

For reasons of bookkeeping, I believe it is right to change the name of the team which currently enters the world bowl from Greater Vakolicci Haven (VKL) to Velstrania (VLS).

• In football, rugby, water polo and other sports, Havenssport and Havenssport Velstrania enter separate teams, due to the difference in size of players from Velstrania compared with regular humans.
• In gridiron and basketball, however, the team which is sent by the Greater Vakolicci Haven as a whole is made up entirely of players from the autonomous province of Velstrania.
• A GVH team without Velstrania would not have any of the same players, management or tactics as the current team which enters the world bowl as 'Greater Vakolicci Haven.'
• Therefore, the team which enters the world bowl and has earned the ranking it currently holds, should be more properly referred to as 'Velstrania' rather than as 'Greater Vakolicci Haven.'

It should also be noted that Havenssport Velstrania fully breaking away from the main Havenssport organisation is something I plan to rp in the current world bowl.

The GVH team I would have entered has a young former slave named Altario Cron-Dit as quarterback; he is the person I rp as my quarterback during the Olympics, in which I did not rp any players from Velstrania.
The Velstrania team I planned to enter has Saronamir nos Beluil as quarterback; they are totally different teams. As I said, I planned to write a long IC explainer post about why their were now two teams entering the world bowl.

In my humble opinion, competitions should NEVER accept late signups. I don't have any problems with the Royal Kingdom of Quebec. But this is why we always have WEEKS for signups and deadlines. RKQ is the one to blame, not Velstrania/Lisander.

We are clearly prejudiced, but as I've made before, I'll give my best to overcome this naughtiness.

Exactly. I spent an entire weekend making rp posts, which unless I want to wait for ages to post them and move my story along, I needed to post in this rp. And I couldn't because someone signed up to a full competition. When it's full, it's full.
