As my first World Cup cycle draws to a close, I'd like to make an open letter of sorts to the NS Sports community. I can't express my gratitude enough for the amount of friendliness displayed by this community.

First, I'd like to thank the hosts of the Baptism of Fire, World Cup, and Cup of Harmony. This is Equestrian States, Mizuyuki, Yttribia, Felix, Ceni, and SJG. You guys have all done a great job; I've thoroughly enjoyed your respective tournaments. I hope one day I can host an event as well as you all have this cycle.

I'd also like to thank the entire community for its welcoming nature as I've been acclimated to NS Sports. Despite by ignorance, I was never spoken down to or criticized. No questions of mine were treated as stupid questions. On IRC and on the forums, I was struck by the helpfulness and kindness of everyone. This forum truly is a community, and anyone who says differently simply does not understand what NS Sports is.

Finally, I'd like to thank the individuals who helped me along the way. Eura, Quebec, Yttribia, Red Blackiland, SJG, and many, many more have been flawless mentors who have helped me with countless RPs. I have learned a lot from them regarding not just Nationstates, but writing, politics, economics, and so much more. I look forward to playing with you all in the future; these past few months have been a lot fun, so I hope we can continue them for as long as possible.

I know this is just a game, and this may be over-the-top. However, behind every nation is a person, and just because there is a screen between us, does not mean that the bonds we form or the interactions we have are any less meaningful. From nation to nation, and person to person, thank you.

Alright, I guess I should say something. For something like a bit over three years, I've been on this forum. It's really been a huge part of my life since I started it in 2012, and I'd like to thank everyone who I've been close to over the years, or everyone who's helped me out at any time. You know who you are. If you're unsure, just pretend you're included or something. The nation of Vjaalsburg will go to Queb, and The Hakifao Isles is going to NSI.

NS Sports has made me by far a better writer, and it's the first internet community I was really a part of. Unfortunately, going forwards I won't have the time to be an active member of this community, and for that reason I am pulling out of nearly all activities for a bit and taking a semi-break. I'll continue to enter the World Cup and will likely RP, but my activity level will be nothing near what it was at its peak, except for maybe World Cups. I'll try to drop on IRC occasionally, but basically everything but the World Cup is off from now on. If you have a concern related to my WBC presidency, please put it on the other thread.

Kelssek is the nation with the most points not yet in the World Cup Nations' Hall of Fame, but is currently inactive, having not participated in one of the three most recent World Cup cycles, and as such, Kelssek must be at least five points ahead of the active nation with the most points in order to be inducted to the Hall of Fame.

With 23 points, Kelssek is seven ahead of the active nation with the most points (Legalese with 16 points), and thus joins the Hall of Fame. Congratulations!
