Thanks for the confidence, and commiserations in a very tight vote to SNL/Grear.

Re: CoH invitations. I've seen some concern that because of the "2 in each half" criteria, some people are worried they've already missed out. It would never be our intention to discourage RPing (nor, at the same time, to make people feel they have to crank out an extra RP after being eliminated). That said, getting a workable number of invitations means it's very probable we will be able to expand beyond that strict limit so, if you're worried you only posted 1 RP in the first half, please keep RPing anyway (if the brain juices are flowing). Hopefully we will can provide more clarity on this after the playoffs are done, which won't be a few days so there's still plenty of time.

Congrats to the qualifiers, commiserations to those who missed qualification, and all the best to the teams left in the playoffs. While the rest of us wait to see which 6 teams qualify, here we have another tournament.

I will follow up with an IC RP on this, but basically, a Poafmersian newspaper, the Sporting Daily, will be conducting an IC tournament, inviting people from various nations to submit their predictions on the playoffs. Winner will get 10k PTS (national currency of Poafmersia, the Poafmersian Totatoes).
OOCly, this is exactly based on the rules Chrom did last cycle. Nothing has changed. Predictor closes when Chrom makes the cutoff for the first leg of the World Cup Qualifier playoffs.

Rules, as copied from Chrom's one last cycle:

The actual score was Aland over Btopia, 3-2, 3-1 (6-3). Both James and Richard get 2 points for picking the right winner per leg and 3 points for picking the right winner overall. If there were no other matches, Richard would win because he got the correct GD correctly (Aland, +3). In the event of a tie between two submissions, the overall GD of their predictions will be compared against the overall GD of the results for all eight matches, and whoever came closest to the over GD will win.

I'll be writing about the farewell party later in detail, hehe. As a note, it's in Naypyithaw, not Yangon. If you landed in Yangon, you'll probably need 2-3 hours of bus ride, maybe even longer.

OOCly, I would like to once again thank everyone for all your support and for cheering me on, especially knowing that my results and luck have not been too stellar this season. ^^; The moments I wrote RPs was definitely fun, that has not changed for the worse. ♥

For those that voted for me in that Fantasy thing, sorry for being such a huge disappointment! The Valentians tried, but not enough. :lol:

The SFA is now looking for a new manager after Ginny Katesmar performed the mother of all bottlejobs and literally threw away automatic qualification to the World Cup on the last few days.

I don't have much in the way of requirements, just to play a 4-2-3-1 and have a +2.5 style.

Also, It seems the last time I had a ranking was pre 87 finals, that means I'm unranked again yes?

Hi there! I ain't exactly the best person to ask, but a good guess would be around mid to end July. You could stick around for the other non-World Cup tournaments tho, like the Independent Associations Championship.

For the second question tho, it looks like a definite yes.
