On another note, ArmedKing has ceased to exist. This spot in the Fire League will be taken up by Belac and does not affect seeding in any way, shape or form. Apologies for the late notice to Belac, Chartistan and anyone else who was affected by this.

Just a curious question.

How does one interpret the below:

Posting a valid, timely roster or squad list in each of the most recent two completed World Cup's official Roster threads grants membership of the WCC. This must then be renewed each Cup to maintain membership.

In case of WC86 qualifying, I did post my roster but it was some days before the end of qualifying. I also noticed that my post was not linked in the OP for the WC86 RP thread, and that might explain why I was deemed not to have posted a roster to keep my WCC membership.

Just want to have clarifications on this and hopefully restore my membership, but if not, then I can just regain them again after two cycles.

Hi everybody have the qualifiers started yet? If not when are they going to start? Also, for the roster thing can anyone tell me how to post an image I do but when I paste the picture it just puts the name of the picture?

1. No.

2. January 11th. This information is listed in the opening post of the RP thread. I strongly recommend reading, in full, the opening posts of the signups, RP and roster threads.

3. Make sure you are linking to an image (hosted online, not saved on your computer). Make sure it is a direct link (filename should end in .jpg, .png, etc.). Then wrap it in img tags as follows:

Although the 3PPO will ICly take place in Sylestone, both it and the final will OOCly be scorinated by me. The cutoff will be not before 2200 UTC as has been the case on my side of the bracket (blame my daughter who doesn't seem to respect daddy's scorination duties!). The Hot v Cool exhibition game will also be announced then.

So, if anyone has been listening to some of the talk on the #international-sport channel on the Discord, y’all know that I will be doing a simulation for the regional qualifier World Cup as my RP storyline.

Here is the draw for AO and Rushmore, if you notice any errors* with the draw or allocations, please contact me. The draw for Indies will be back in a few days, and Sylestone will be running the Esportiva sim.

*please note some teams, such as Muralos and Tumbra have been put into a different region to ensure ideal numbers.

Signups and Waitlisted Nations
We can confirm that we are currently at 193 signups, so have reached our higher target for signups following CTEs. This means that Trigel, Frestovenia, Garbelia, and Koniglich Wasserstein now have a spot in the World Cup. Therefore, we will be progressing with our alternative format, which is 19 groups of 10. This means there is no real change to the schedule, except that there is 1 less cutoff in each half - those 2 cutoffs then hold the playoffs at the end of qualifying. The changes will be reflected in the OP of the RP thread after the draw is held.

The Draw
Speaking of the draw, we will be announcing it live on the NS Sports Discord server on the #live channel. The draw will be held on the evening that we receive the ranks at 2030 EST. Match day 1 will still take place on Monday 11th January 2021 if the draw is done by Wednesday night.

Reminders
Taeshan will be scoring the first half of the qualifiers. Cutoffs will be 2000-2100 EST (0100-0200 UTC) for the first 9 matches. The cutoff for the second half will be announced in due time, but will not be too dissimilar to Taeshan's cutoff.
Don't forget that we also have a roster penalty in place. If you don't have a roster in by the first cutoff, then a penalty of 15% will be applied to your KPB; this is reversed once you post a roster. Please make sure to get your rosters in!
