That's because you're unranked - i.e. you have played no games that would give you "KPB points", which determine your ranking. I have a (65) in front of my name, for comparison, because I am ranked 65th in the world and have enough KPB points to be ranked as such. :)

Oh dang, I got Squornshelous. Talk about blast from the past matchup. Only been... 50 cups? Definitely way more history than your average 198 v. UR matchup.

Super late response, and even tho I didn't ask the question, thanks.

I thought the numbers were KPB points, which wouldn't make any sense. i really need to get more sleep

Turori are currently a mere three points ahead of second-placed Valladares, and four ahead of fifth-placed Beepee, after five games. Those among you that remember what happened last World Cup might have noticed that South Covello was five points ahead at the top of their qualifying group at this stage... and ended up qualifying for EqueStar after a two-legged playoff with Lisander. Someone needs to explain me why a team ranked 59th who posted a roster and RP almost everyday (the only time I didn't RP was when I had to go out of town last tuesday) lose 2 times against teams ranked 200 and lower who never poster a roster and a RP?

I'm currently unemployed and I finished college, It's the first time in 3 WCs I can RP almost everyday. Last WC I was doing an internship and it was taking me 2 hours to go to the hotel and 2 more hrs to go back home after my shift so I didn't had time to RP. The other WC before, I couldn't RP at all because something happened irl just before the WC started. Next WC i probably won't be able to RP everyday either because I hope to have a job by then. This is my chance and I keep losing against fucking teams who never RP. it's really frustrating and I really don't want to RP if I keep losing against teams I should beat. Kita-Hinode keeps winning on the road against high ranked team and I don't. Fuck this game.

Pretty much the inverse of the above post: Hello. I am sorry for a lack of RP posting (absolutely none to be precise) but I have just started college and so, understandably, its really not the time to be spending time making large detailed RP posts. I will try to RP (and potentially include the matched uncovers) but its not easy. Thanks.

Yes... but to be fair, I'm not always entirely serious, except when I am :P

Scorination is, like I said in a more contrived way earlier, mostly unpredictable - as PIS found out five years ago, not even the world's best team is guaranteed victory over some rosterless, RPless, unranked minnow.

Nature of the beast, upsets happen all the time. I couldn't rp for the first few games and won them all. I RP-ed ahead of the most recent matchday and immediately lost at home to an unranked side. It's just how it works. Hang in there though, the upsets tend to lessen as you keep adding to that RP bonus the deeper into the campaign you go. Plus, if you hang around long enough, the luck tends to even itself out.

Kita-Hinode are the second ranked side. They won't beat a higher ranked team until tomorrow, when they will absolutely beat a higher ranked team.

I do love a good rant.

You're going through a shitty patch. We can all empathise and most of us have been through it before. If you're enjoying the RPing but not so much the results, that's great. Own your situation and turn it into words. If you're not enjoying RPing right now, take a step back for a couple of days. It's all good.

Talking of rants, I really lack creativity and an idea to do a non-football-related series atm and I don't really get results or matches that make football RP interesting. My campaign is the NS equivalent of drawing or narrowly beating a series of games against Moldova, Lithuania, Estonia and Macedonia (also known as the average qualifier of the Swiss National Team), and it's surprisingly boring to RP. All I could see is a controversy about the coach or certain players, and I've done that too often in the past. All I could come up was yet another "we have a violence problem!" post, but spinning that into a series would not be interesting as I do this kind of stuff all the time, and I just wanted to "react" to Krenorus' WCoH roleplay.

Anyone got some ideas how to bridge this kind of block? Maybe time to create some interesting characters in my team, but I never like my own character development. It's my main weakness in writing imo.

Maybe your football governing body discusses the matter and decides to try boosting the team's performance by boosting the players' morale? Send along a mascot, a marching band, cheerleaders, celebrities to be seen applauding at prominent places in the audience...

Or is it? Who amongst us would deny Turori's Cocoabo a run to the final?

Ideally, to explore other themes and RP ideas that wouldn't fit your main nation.

Or maybe you just maintain two different NS nations and you want to see both represented on the world stage.

In the context of the NSWC, a "puppet" is a second nation belonging to a user. As to the purpose? Well, that depends on the user. Some have two nations with a close relationship (Vilita with Turori for instance), some use them as an outlet for RPing things that wouldn't fit with their main nation (perhaps one country is a democratic republic, the other is an autocratic monarchy ruled by giant talking squid), and myriad other purposes.

As you're new, you won't be able to enter a puppet until your second World Cup anyway, so it will give yo plenty of time to see for yourself how the various relationships (or lack thereof) work.

EDIT: Damn you, ninja Cosumar. ;)
