This is where we come to your case. Those who are out of the loop reading your post above and previous posts of yours probably deserve to know you have a rather massive conflict of interest here - that you were removed from the Discord after becoming one of the very few people who couldn't live up to the spirit of the Discord. You spent a long period of time antagonising a substantial group of users with some extremely inflammatory commentary, mainly concerning politics. This upset some, riled up others and threatened to put others off using the server. Your behaviour was tolerated to a point because we allow a very wide range of views, but you spiraled and a decision was taken to suspend you from the current affairs channel. (I've only mentioned the politics as its important for context on this specific point - others here, please do not take this as a prompt to turn this into an NSG thread).
Has it ever occurred to you that you only ever seem to "moderate" one side of the political spectrum in that chat? Every single individual who was ever openly supported Trump or defended a "far-right" European political party or had a frog avatar, etc in there has ended up banned and I ended up banned for opposing racism (of the "critical race theory" variety), opposing rioting/looting/etc. and for refusing to back down while I was being flamed by supporters of those things (and previously got kicked off the IRC channel for celebrating Brexit on the night when it won the vote). I will concede that the covid thing was applied impartially (as you kicked both parties to the argument from the channel) though I think it was silly to do that to what was a friendly argument.
When I argued in favor of regulating corporations, single payer health care and other economic reforms in the exact same manner that I argued against the "right" of violent criminals to destroy my country (and I still more or less hold those views), that was perfectly fine with everybody there. Just stating my positions on a few issues where I'm right wing but not passionate enough to get into a strong argument was also fine. What wasn't fine was passionately arguing in favor of "right wing" positions.
If I'm wrong and you apply these rules neutrally, can you name an instance of somebody being banned from the IRC and/or discord who was arguing left-wing stances in that channel? I certainly can't remember any instances of that happening over the several years I was on those chat platforms and the discriminatory enforcement of those rules is the exact reason why the political leanings of the NS Sports community generally seem to range from Marxist to Trump skeptic/Boris skeptic.
The only reason I even bother to say anything is because I don't want somebody else to put so much time and effort into this place and be repaid for their contributions by being discriminated against and being treated as a second class member of the community. I don't have any hope at this point that those in charge on the discord will ever come to terms with their own political bias and how it affects their moderation decisions and its ultimately not important enough, in all likelihood, as a discussion forum in be included in the legislation that will eventually outlaw such biased "moderation" in the virtual public square in the US (because, in fairness to you, its not a problem that is exclusive to the NS Sports discord chat room and I hope you can understand why somebody who has been fighting to outlaw this kind of bias isn't going to tolerate it from anybody).
