I started 0-0-4 the last qualifying cycle as the second seed while RPing (though not great writing I will admit) every day. Margaret is very much alive.

We held a 3-games-to 2 lead on Nova Anglicana in the WBC 48 championship.
Nova Anglicana had been a non-believer (per discord posts) in Margaret. He then turned to Margaret and made multiple sacrifices and praised her relentlessly.

He rallied to win the series.

Do not ever doubt Margaret. Ever!

Well, ICly, Nova Anglicans don't really believe in Margaret. Kind of clashes with the whole monotheism thing. OOCly, (Rand) is ever-present and I subscribe to sports superstitions. As you pointed out, it might have had something to do with getting rid of my Detroit Lions blog header :lol2:

I have to say the same, Margaret will always exist and unfortunately, I’m usually on her wrong side.
Anyway, many rubber chickens are being imported due to our complete fizzle last WC cycle.

On the other hand, with the recently completed Mike Sarzo Memorial Trophy, Sylestone defeated Tequilo (albeit an U-23 side), Krytenia and Northwest Kalactin and got darn near close to defeating Starblaydia in the final. Yes, I was one of the most active RPers, but still, defeating three teams with a much higher KPB must have had some sort of Margaret influence.

My luck kinda flip-flops on its' own, tbh. Sometimes, it lands random silverware. Other times, it takes my ex-girlfriend to go play League of Legends, I guess.

Due to unforeseen personal issues, DBC MD4 scorination is postponed until tomorrow. MD5 will be rolled back 24 hours as well and the additional bye between the Group Stage and knockouts will be vacated to keep the knockout schedule the same.

Voting is now open.

First, regarding the amendment at-vote: While others proposed changes to the amendment, and Taeshan expressed support for those changes, the altered amendments did not receive the required support to be brought to a vote, nor was the original proposed amendment withdrawn. As such, the proposed amendment at-vote does not reflect those changes.

Second, as a procedural note, Legalese's proposed amendment regarding nation eligibility for the BoF did not receive the required support to be brought to a vote.

I should note that my official interpretation of the host voting prohibition clause (which I also wrote) would already bar you from participating in the WC host vote as you would be directly involved in co-hosting the tournament.

You're right, it'd been a while and I'd forgotten that the proposal is really meant to address the flip side of the situation.

well, I seem to have missed out on the Margaret discussion, so perhaps that means I should not comment at all; however I will throw out the fact that with a clean sweep of the last three tournament finals--DBC, SWC, Sarzo Memorial Trophy--20 of the 27 tournaments we've participated in since joining NS Sports have featured in the semi-finals the side that eliminated Baker Park, with 8 of them winning, 8 runners-up and 4 others losing in the semis, not to mention the 2 Championships we won (which makes it 22/27).
