Then you realized that you forgot to give me credit for an RP. My opponent had not RPed during that time, only I had. So, to make sure I get credit for my RP, you rescorinated a match that I originally won, and posted a new result where I lost?
And you expect me to be OK with this shit? Really?
Whatever you guys do with this, I absolutely NEVER want Xanneria hosting anything I participate in ever again.
Hi Sherpa,
We do apologize that this confusion happened at all. We discovered the error immediately after the results were posted - admittedly, that is not soon enough, but we did aim to resolve the issue as soon as possible. I advised Xanneria to re-scorinate all four matches because I believed it was proper to generate results with all the technical factors correctly in place, particularly since no one had RPed with the incorrect results when the error was discovered. If that goes against the communal understanding of how that particular situation should be handled, that mistake is on me.
You are justified in being upset by this decision - particularly since, as I understand, your game was the only result that flipped when we did the scorination correctly. Our goal was to be transparent and get it right and I'm sorry that this resulted in an adverse result for you.
As for your participation in future tournament hosted by Xanneria/Appalachia, that is your prerogative. But it is my opinion that this incident notwithstanding, Xan has been a competent and enthusiastic host, and eager to learn from Ethane and me. I believe Xan will learn from this mistake in future hosting endeavors.
