Edition One: Transfers

With the civil war having reach it’s end, the Sports Federation can start once again. The Federation has begun to fix the stadiums damaged across the mainland, and millions of starlites have been put into the effort.

Although the war was going on, the National Sports Federation, or the SF, did make some transfers for the National Soccer Association. Over fifty players will be either entering, or leaving, the country. Many teams were up and looking for foreign players, especially due to the fact of the major expansion of the league.

The soccer league had a major expansion. The men’s league transformed from a 12-team league to a 153-league one. Originally, it was only 151 teams, but during the transfer window, the Federation funded two more teams. These two teams were founded so that they may acquire players on the Free Transfer Market. These two teams have been named: Superfluous and Extraneous United. These two teams were to be placed in sixth division. However, after a long discussion at an important board meeting of the Soccer Federation, these two clubs will be placed into the second division of the league. The reasons of this decision has yet to be released by the board. The two teams are the only ones in the whole country to be completely supported financially by the Federation.

However, with Star United States being absent from the past two, or three, UICA seasons, the teams have a great goal ahead of them. Given this fact, the new government has extended money, in the billions, to the Sports Federation. Thus meaning, that some of the clubs had a large amount of money to spend during the transfers. However, most teams took transfers via the Free Transfer Market.

The first player to be transferred into the country during this window was Aaron Norbert, from Super-Llamaland. He is aged at twenty-two years, and is a striker. He transferred out of FC Vargas into Pixe City. He was swapped for Caleb Horas, a Starian national team player, and Pixe City acquired an extra three million NSD.

With most Starian national players on the market, Adjurgen, of Semarland, got into their hands star player, Santiago Solo (DC, 25) from Riverside City for eight million NSD. Mark Barnna, also a NT player, was acquired by FC Nuholm in Semarland, for als, eight million NSD.

Henry Andrews (DF, 23) was transferred to FC Talahita for 6.5 million NSD in Super-Llamaland. Michael Rivers (DF, 24) moved along to The Royal Kingdom of Quebec, to the Alianza FAShinista de Montreal for fourteen million NSD. He transferred out of Iry Shore.

Nine players were transferred into Star United States on various different prices. Aaron Norbert, as aforementioned, was transferred on a swap. John Pekarik (MR, 25), formerly of Volcano FK in Polaaskan, into Riverside City for three and half million NSD. Jake Lathom (FW, 22) found his way into Golden City for five and a half million NSD, leaving behind the Hamilton Sandstorm in Electrum.

Rayley United, a U21 team, got Sam Kara (GK, 19). He was unable to join a senior league due to Federation rules. From the Prescott Wolves in Electrum, for seven million NSD, Abigail Knight joined the female team of Lake Star. From Shipwrights in Vermark, Jackson City got Ronald Dinlud, for three million NSD.

Herbert Alfredsson (LM, 29) was transferred from Raskstad United in Vermark to Iry Shore of five and a half million NSD. Jurrich Law (AM, 25) was transferred from Murontia in Western Borderland, to Woodbed City for six million.

Now, onto the transfers made on the Free Transfer Market. This is where Superfluous, and Extraneous United got most, if not all, of their players.

The season is soon to start, and many are on the edge of their seats to see what will happen.

The Soccer Federation Expansion

As, aforementioned, the Sports Federation has drastically altered the originally form of the Soccer league, of the former League of Sports of Star United States. The Men's (senior) league was transformed from a 12-team league in one division to a 153-team league in six divisions. Also, the Sports Federation installed a Women's (senior) league, with 28 teams in two divisions.

Along with this, the Sports Federation also created a U21, U17, and U15 league for both males and females. Both, the Men's and Women's, U21 leagues have a 22-team league, divided into two divisions. Both, the young Men's and Women's, U17 league have a 28-team league system, divided into four divisions, and so do the U15 leagues.

The Sports Federation, however, has not just transformed the soccer league in he country, but as well as other leagues, either creating or expanding on them.

Season 1

To official kick off the National Sports Federation, the Men's leagues of the Handball of association have put everything in. The Handball Association is experiencing it's opening debut in the national sports. Forty-five official teams have been divided into three divisions, and the results have been amazing.

The league was a double-robin, meaning there was a total of thirty matchdays for all three divisions. Following regulations placed by the National Sports Federation, the top three teams of Divisions Two and Three will be promoted, while the last three of Divisions One and Two will be relegated.

In Division One, Rayley walked away with the League Trophy, and with a spot in the WCHC Club Tournament. Jamos, was close, but not close enough. Alegria, Zerian, and Trilake, will say goodbye to Division One, and hello to Division Two.

In Division Two, Western Side, Sitele, and Darkstone have been promoted, and will now compete for the Champion spot. Teams, such as Eastern Port, Caybe, and Clearston, will be leaving his division, and be transferred to the third division.

Newmist, Kinville, and Willodale, will be exiting the last division, for the mesodivision.

The National Sports Federation has given the four spots in the WCHC to the top four teams of the whole league. Thus meaning, that Rayley, Jamos, Northern Ridge, and Oakmoor have qualified, and will take part of this tournament.

The league championship has also set the seedings for the upcoming National Handball Trophy. Each respective place in each division will be placed into a group. For example, the first places of each division will be placed into a group, and so on.

Also, the six teams being promoted will partake in the Handball Promotion Cup.

Season 1

The first season of the Women’s Handball League is now over. It is the first official Women’s League in the Sports Federation to accomplish this.

Bayside took the title of League Champion for the first season, having lost only seven games of the 28 total games. City of Star, Suyte, and Willodale will no longer partake in the first division for the second season. Norvale, Kinville, and Oakmoor leave Division Two as they are promoted to the Division One. Krares, Trilake, and Darkstone will replace Femlisy, Deep Woods and Blout in Division Three, as they are relegated.

Norvale, Kinville, Oakmoor, Femlisy, Deep Wods and Blout have been invited to the Women’s Handball Promotion Cup.

National Men's Soccer League
Season Two

Season Two, here it comes. Stadiums have expanded, and remolded. The Sports Federation has injected millions of Starlites into the Soccer Association, and a league like never before, in the history of Star United States, is about to occur. Here it starts, with the Men's League, followed by the Women's. Then, the U21, U17, and U15 leagues (male and female) will proceed. Thousands of tickets already have been sold for the league matches, as fans united to chant on the teams that represent their cities. One hundred three Starian cities are represented in this league.

Dozens of fields and stadiums have been rebuilt, or built, since the Sports Federation announced the league, and although money has left the Sports Federation in large amounts, it is coming back in even triple of the amounts.

With six divisions, and 153 teams, the Men's Soccer League is headed to brighter future...

The Premier Division included the originally twelve-league teams, where are Lake Star, City of Star, Woodbed City, SeaShore City, Pixe City, Jackson City, Riverside City, City of Fredericksburg, Golden City, Hery City, Stary Bay, and Iry Shore. The first season was won by City of Star, after defeating Golden City, to the score off 1-1 (1-1 AET) (6-5 pen.) at the Five-Point Stadium in Lake Star. Riverside City won over Hery City 0-1 in the Third Place Match in the Stadium of Jackson.

If the scenario would have remained the same, City of Star would be expected to gain the title of League Champion, once again, however, the tables have turn. The expansion from a twelve-team to a 153-team league has left a lot to say. However, it is expected that one of the originally twelve will walk away with the second title of League Championship. Most favorable, of course, is City of Star, as they have the only titles, and are one of the oldest of the original twelve teams.

In the Second Division, the story is completely different. These teams have never competed before, as they are new. It is not clear on who has the advantage, or not. However, it is rumored that the least will be the greatest. Also, the two newest teams of the Federation are located in this Division. These teams are Superfluous, and Extraneous United. Both teams are mostly, if not completely, composed of foreign talents, and are the only two teams in the whole Men's Soccer League that are completely supported by the Federation, financially-wise, that is.
The Second Division also provides are home, at least for now, to the Rivalry of the Ridges. The home stadiums of the teams Northern Ridge, Southern Ridge, Eastern Ridge, Western Ridge, and Central Ridge, are less than an hour away from each other, and yet, these five teams have a lot of tension in between. They meet often at the Ridge Athletic Complex Center for the famous "Cup of the Ridges." So, it will be battle between the Ridges to see who will get promoted into the Premier Division.

The Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Divisions are also made of a lot of different teams. Therefore, it is difficult to determined who will finish at what position.

The results of this league will offer spots for the Starian teams in the UICA season. As many are aware, Star United States has been absent from the few previous seasons for various reasons, and it's time for the association to make a come back. One spot in the Champions' Cup, three spots in the Globe Cup, and four teams in the Series B Champions’ Cup, will be awarded to Starian teams, as well as two spots in the Campionato Esportivano di Campeones. A spot is also offered in the Cynus Cup for the team that wins during the Soccer Frenzy, that is to occur later on.

Season II

The second season of the Men's Soccer League has concluded, leaving many surprised with the results. City of Star, as assumed, won the League with 112 points. There's a 33-point gap between the winner, and to runner up, which is Stary Bay, with 79 points. Third place was acquired by Hearts, with 73 points. Accordingly, City of Star has been granted the one slot available to Star United States in the Champions' Cup. The four spots offered to the league in the Globe Cup have been granted to Stary Bay, Hearts, and the fourth place team, Riverside City.

Jarille, Golden City, and Lake Star, have been relegated into the Second Division, while Superfluous, Jamos, and Extraneous replace them in the Premier League. Superfluous, a squad that is completely composed of non-Starians won the division with 123 points. The team was funded by the Sports Federation, mainly, to get players no one else wanted. Shockingly, they have won the league. Jamos was the runner up, with 112 points, and Extraneous United, another team completely with no Starians, gained third. They all received a promotion to the Premier League. The Association is granted four spots in the Series B Champions' Cup in the UICA, and these spots are given to Superfluous, Jamos, Extraneous United, and Western Ridge. Mount Star, Spike, and Southern Ridge will be saying goodbye to the second division, as they are relegated into the third.

In the third division, Lochsummer, Crystalborugh, and Western Side will be upgrading to the second division. However, Icelake, Blackview, and Eastern Side will proceed to the fourth division. Tioka, Caybe, and Swynhill will be replacing themselves, as hey are being promotoed from the fourth into the third division. Rosewater, Mallowhollow, and Civile say goodbye to the fourth division, while Gabahes, Blossom Cove, and Brozo say hello. Bayside, Alegria, and Livonhka will be downgrading to the sixth division, and Metbrig, Sasig, and Wagelin will upgrade to the fifth. This has certianly set up a stage for the third season. These teams will meet once more, at the Soccer Frenzy, prior to the next season.

Season I Results

For the first time in Starian sports history, the WSL, or Women's Soccer League, has become more popular than ever. To begin with, the National Sports Federation created two divisions in this league, however, they have announced that they will be expanding the divisions.

Pixe City has won the first trophy, while Hery City followed closely behind! SeaShore City and Jamos have terminated their runs in the First Division as Red Hill and Eastern Ridge are promoted to replace them.
