Valladares (VLD) final site bids
Challengers’ Cup: Estadio Zachary Fortin, Metropolis (Cap. 50,304)
The Valladar Football Association along with the Board of Marinos Metropolis are hereby presenting Estadio Zachary Fortin to the consideration of the IFCF as a potential venue for the final match of the upcoming Challengers’ Cup.
Estadio Zachary Fortin is the newest stadium built in Valladares, with a capacity of 50,304 spectators. It was built at the exact same place where Marinos' first stadium (Estadio Lino Ferreira) was located, in Parque Rushmore in the heart of the City of Metropolis between the Obrero, Buitrera, and San Fernando neighborhoods, which are considered as the historical cradle of football in Metropolis and is served by the San Fernando Metro station and the Parque Rushmore MetroBus (Metropolis' BRT system) station. This state-of-the-art stadium includes 4 changing rooms with areas ranging from 150 m2 to 300 m2, an adjacent auxiliary training field, 176 private boxes from 12 to 20 seats, a panoramic restaurant, cafes, shops, a convention center with modular structure for up to 1,000 visitors which works as a media center during matchdays, a space for the club's museum in the southwestern corner, and an adjacent covered parking for up to 2,000 cars, with exclusive spaces for motorcycles and bikes. In addition to this, all of the stadium's 50,304 seats are fully covered by the roof, which ensures all fans in attendance at matches there are safe from the sun and rain. This stadium was opened during the 52nd Liga-1 season, which ended with Marinos winning their fifth domestic title and establishing a record by winning all the games they played there, and already has experience hosting important club football decider matches, having received Pasarga's CA Paulinthal and Electrum's Centralis Heart for the final of the 41st Champions Cup, won by the latter.
