95X Year 74 Soccer/Association Football Season
It's an exciting season for the CISA, as many players from the youth squads formed two seasons ago aged into adults and the CISA formally merged with most of the previous remaining soccer teams.
Cactus SC merged with former heavyweights Twentytwo Cacti and their developed program. Reynaldo Mallard (25), Genesis Prune (33), 95X National Team starter Sophie Riverforest (24), Alma Riverfront (33), Esteban Royalstar (24), and Olivia Waterford (25). Twentytwo Cacti had a developed special relationship with a general education academy founded by former Twentytwo Cacti players which will continue.
Cascadia Seafox added Markus Downey (31), Tyrel Hawthorne (26), Griselda "Zelda" Ross (29), and Lynsey Thurman (30). The four 'roleplayers' are excited for the new beginning that each season brings.
SC Cascadia welcomed Lizeth Beaverton (32), Jacob Firdale (33), Caitlin Nelson (33), Kalvin Onethirtyninth (35), Shaniqua Progress (32), and Logan Roork (33). Despite the six being towards the end of their careers, Firdale and Roork bring dated yet relevant National Team performance and all six bring veteran experience to the pitch.
X SC merges very promising younger players with proven talent. National Team starter Micah Morrison (24), Lacy Onefiftythird (29), Agustin Roedel (28), and Marina Twotenth (30). Morrison is arguably the best current 95X soccer player, although the pool of talent is quite shallow.

"Most of the leagues are named something like 'National', 'Premier', or the name of the nation," commented Jason Ninetyfivex during a planning meeting for an upstart league that would encompass the remaining soccer teams that aren't located on Cascade Island, or in the case of SC Oceanside, declined the CISA's "club" model requirement; as such were denied an associate membership in the CISA that would give them access to the CISA and its schedule. SC Oceanside management was further angered at the CISA's Oceanside Surf, effectively making a direct competitor to the team in the small-for-95X city of three million.
"We need a name that will stand out in the market," he continued.
"You're a genius!", one of the other meeting attendees responded.
The MARKET League
The new league, with along with the CISA claimed to be the highest-level league in 95X, featured five teams playing a 24-game schedule due to a later start than the CISA; each team would meet six times. Brand-new Transit Authority SC, based in Pacific City, signed 30-year-old Alyssa Yorkton away from the Millennium City Eagles as she wished to play in one of the largest cities in 95X and believed Transit Authority could put together a side that would be more competitive in UICA tournaments.
# Team Pld W D L GF GA GD PtsThe first season came down to the wire, as second place University City stunned league leaders Transit Authority 1-0 on Matchday 28 and moved to within two points. Transit Authority fell to Millennium City 2-1 on Matchday 29 while University City had no match scheduled. On Matchday 30, Transit Authority played Pacific City in a scoreless draw and University City dropped Millennium City 2-0. Both teams finished the season with 38 points, but Transit Authority SC was declared the winner on goal difference.

Interassociation Final
Transit Authority SC 0–1 X SC
With bragging rights and the entry to the Atlantian Oceania Champions' League on the line, Transit Authority SC challenged X SC to a single-match final played in Pacific City. With bragging rights and implying whether the CISA or the Market League was the stronger of the two on the line, each side fielded their strongest lineups. X SC would score the only goal in the 31st minute as Alix Ajax scored on a circus kick. It would mark the beginning of more than just a rivalry.
